Records photo in media blackBerry Smartphones

I created several records for my photos; I clicked "Properties" in the menu and then checked 'hidden '.  I could still see them in the menu of the main image, but now they are gone and I need to recover. Does anyone know how do you it because it doesn't have an option to uncheck hidden in the main menu.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Hidden items are behaving as they should... they hide. To view it, it is not as simple as hiding (otherwise, what would be the point to hide after all...):

  • Homescreen > media > > Explore > (navigate to the folder containing hidden items) > > Show Hidden > (set highlight, but do not select the hidden item) > > properties > uncheck 'Hidden' ICT and save

Good luck!

When I try to view the photos I took (that I recorded in the media card) the photos appear on the menu screen but when I click on the photo I just get a black screen or a small icon.

Try a battery pull reboot > with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Normally, this will allow the device to re-scan the media card.

is there a way to separate the received image of mail from other text messages. whenever I want to see a picture I have to scroll through hundreds of texts until I find them. Help, please!

Richard, you will soon be addicted to your phone that you learn of bells and whistles! When you receive a message in the photo that you want to save, press your menu button (the one to the left of the trackball), then scroll to save the image. You will have a choice (if you have a memory card) to record on the card or device.

  • Records of color of blackBerry Smartphones

I spent recently for the Curve 8310 Blackeberry Pearl... with Pearl, I was able to change the color of the folder when I added a new... I can't do that with the curve... it just stays yellow. Is this good?

Hello! It depends on the theme you are using. A few themes allow different types of records and colors, other don't have an option... to keep things consistent I guess? For example, my 8900 running 4.6.1.133 has 21 different variants of records. You can get free and not free themes here: http://www.berryreview.com/blackberry-themes-database/8300-themes/ and totally free Themes here: http://www.pimpmyberry.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5

  • Space card Media blackBerry Smartphones

So I got a memory card to increase the storage capacity of my BB Curve titanium.  I bought a 8 GB card that didn't work when I tried to format it so I bought another one (other brand) to another bank and this format very well.  However, after it formatted the total and free space available says 3.3 GB.  Where's the other 4.7 GB?

Please note that the maximum media card space is defined by your operating system on the BlackBerry (options > on).

So compare your OS on the Board and see what your max media card size.

  • Question map new media blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

This may seem silly to some but this is: I just upgraded to the 8900 of the 8100 and I want to get a media card more capacity, as 8 GB.  I currently have 2 GB.  I was wondering how to transfer content from one card to another?  What I have to use the Desktop Manager, or is their another way?  Instructions would be useful as I'm not very well informed when using media cards.

Thanks in advance for the help

The simplest method would be to activate "Mass Storage" on both devices, connect both to your PC USB, then simply drag and drop the files from the old unit to the new.

What I would recommend would be to do the above, but play the old files Media Card on your PC first and you'll have them there have as a backup if necessary - then move them to the new media card.

Once again, thank you for the support. I managed to pass my photos from Media Card to computer. (Windows Photo Gallery) I see pictures of card device and media. I'm still learning how to use Windows Media on my computer. I would say that the problem is resolved for now. If I need help I will ask questions later.

  • Applications blackBerry Smartphones to be recorded in the internal storage card or media other than RAM.

    Hi guys,.
IAM hrdware configuration set with hand torch
    512 MB of RAM
    4 GB of storage internal

If I install any appps blackberry app world are those get saved in the RAM memory, which reduces the speed of the aircraft, to help me how do to install applications to the media card or internal storage

    Thank you best regards &,.
    Sandra

    Hello!

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media- is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones need help with Media Sync please - cannot sync photos

I just installed the latest version of desktop software, version 6.0, and when I click on the buttons to sync photos from my blackberry on my PC, it says there are no pictures... I have dozens of photos on the device and I really want to get down them as soon as POSSIBLE... Please help

Try disabling Mass Storage. Is encryption always enabled for media files on your device?

If it is, Roxio should ask the encryption password to allow you to access the media card.

When this happens, all media must be visible...
