Recovery lost pdf file

Is it possible to recover a file lost due to a fall if one ALSO accidentally clicked on 'no' to the promopt to open an unsaved file?  Is these stored somewhere and so recoverable?  Thank you

Not very likely, but you can try the temp folder, which is:

C:/users/_USER-NAME_/AppData/Local/Temp/Adobe/Acrobat/11.0

    Hijosephinek95123236,

PDF files are not saved in the application. They must be in the local memory of the mobile device or if they are stored on the cloud of document, then they will be available under the cloud of document tab.

Please reinstall the Acrobat Reader application on your mobile device to access the document.

To transfer the PDF files from mobile device on laptop: -.

If the files are saved on the cloud of document, then you can access the file on your laptop using this link https://cloud.acrobat.com/folder/7efb457b-c1b5-4d6b-89d1-96b1ede2a167 , the files can be downloaded from here.

Otherwise, if the files are on the local memory of the mobile device, then you can send the file or transfer them using a data cable.

    Kind regards
    Nicos

  • What can I do? I just change a pdf file, after you finish and save the changes, the stroke of the Acrobat Reader and lost all my changes, how do I get back them, he had a lot of work.

What should I do toget back the changes that I made a PDF doc because Acrobat just stops?

    Hey Woisix,

The auto save feature prevents changes to PDF since be lost after an unexpected interruption.

Open the file to which you were changes. When you are prompted, click Yes to open the automatically saved files.

If auto-save is turned off, then restart of the Preferences dialog box.

Open Edit > Preferences > Documents and check "automatically save document changes to temporary file every XX minutes" and specify minutes for how often you want to save changes to the PDF files.

If this feature has been disabled, so it is not possible to recover lost in the PDF file changes.

    Kind regards

    Ana Maria

Deleted file recovery can recover incomplete files, i.e. the part of these files may be missing.  Recover deleted files is much more reliable if recovery of a backup, instead of using recovery software.

These things depend on the operating system and the file system.

One thing, you can see: open one of these files damaged with a text editor, and then make sure that the constant % PDF is somewhere in the first 1024 bytes.

PS please do not post ALL uppercase; It is very difficult to read!

  • Our InDesign seems to have lost the ability to open/modify a PDF file. Any idea on why this might have happened or how to fix it?

We had to install InDesign CS6 recently on a Windows 8 machine and after using the program for a few days/weeks successfully, the user pointed out that it can is no longer open / edit a PDF file. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how can I solve this problem. If I uninstall and reinstall the program I'll be able to use my existing license?

InDesign has never been able to open or to modify a PDF file. Illustrator can do it, somehow, but unless the PDF file has been created in Illustrator and contain the original Illustrator file information, it is not a good idea.

PDF has been designed as an end-format and is not really intended for further editing.

  • lost control file and datafile addeed restore/recovery without loss of data

so can get us this or can't do?

    You seem to have:
    (a) old version of data through rman backup files
    (b) old version of the control file
    (c) Backed archived redo logs
    (d) recovery archived logs that have been recently generated
    (e) current online redo logs

Therefore, you should be able to bring back the database in the State wherever it was when you made the abandonment.
I don't do enough laps to be able to cite details on the commands to use (and I often find myself using the command line recovery after that file of rman restore, but the steps you need must be)

Take a copy of security of the data current, archived and online redo log files.
Restore the backup control file, data files, and archived recovery logs
Recover the database by using up to cancel backup control file
You have to do 'create datafile' bit as the collection hits the 'missing file' bit
You will need to provide the names of the archived and log files online redo recovery reached their
(although, presumably, you could leave copies of the logs stored in the default location)

I have a Word 2007 (docx) document, with inserted JPGs.  If the images text wrapping is on something else that "in line with text", the images do not appear in the PDF file created from the docx.  I have tried many different combinations of Acrobat preferences (or disable image compression standard vs high quality printing different ppp parameters etc.).  This seems to be a new problem, I have converted several Word docx with images in PDF format in the past.  A document that I converted to PDF a year ago is no longer converts correctly!   I'm running Windows 7 Pro and using Acrobat X Pro.   Office 2007 SP3 (and I suspect this is the problem).  Another person had the problem and, if so, found a fix?

    Hi, Bill.

I solved the problem, which was misleading lines.  Somehow, Word Options--> display, print drawings created in Word has checked.  Now the pictures come out fine.   The misleading part is that images inserted from the files would be included in the PDF file if it was wrapped text as inline!

    Thanks for your time

  • I did the updates on adobe XI in DC. I hate it. Is there a way to get Adobe XI with PDF files in it?

When I was checking plugins and their update, I was not prepared for the controller of domain Adobe with the Cloud and the other things it has to offer. The XI Adobe I had published my PDF files. When my Vista OS collapsed, I lost quite a lot. The only thing I don't like is that you can't get the older version of Adobe on the desktop, unless you're a computer scientist, which I am not. I know it must be on the hard disk. I tried to download it, but it is so far an error indicating that Adobe DC is the version I want. I have a Windows 7 Professional Inspiron 3847 2013. I just wish I could have my XI from Adobe.

You can download the installer for reader XI on this page: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

(I know who says it's for business, but I don't think that they are checking!)

Most likely, you will need to uninstall the CD player in the Control Panel, uninstall a program, before you can install an older version.

    Or did you already tried?

  • When opening a PDF file, a new tab will open, but it will be empty, it do not download or open any pdf file, it just started the last 3 days...!

    Hello
I'm about to remove Firefox from my computer because he lost hours of my time, and none of the online troubleshooting answers are no help.

Until recently, I was able to open PDF files in my browser window, and today its impossible to open any pdf file, it will not download if I choose to download it.

This issue is ongoing, and shut down for almost a year and I downloaded the Nitro PDF module to solve previously as Adobe reader add-on did nothing. Today in the menu options of applications where I can choose the program I want to open PDF files with I can't find the option NitroPDF reader, so I chose the add-on Adobe and no matter how many restarts it refuses to open all PDFs, all I get is a new tab open and empty.

Internet Explore opens PDFs very well, so I know it's not computer associate.

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate, Firefox Version 19.0.

If there is a way to fix this, please help because I am currently at the end of my patience.

    Kind regards

    Emre

19 FF has its own Viewer for pdf files. It doesn't seem to work properly. The screens are either poor quality or empty. Printing using the bad characters and spacing of bad character. Some impressions of color and others are not.

Thankfully, it is easy to revert to using some other pdf viewer, such as Foxit. Go to Tools / Options / Applications and scroll down to "Portable Document Formay (PDF)", and change it to your preferred pdf viewer.
     Your problem is solved!

  • PDF files has disappeared before my eyes!

    Hello

I opened iBooks to show my references at a job interview recently, and after posting icons for no more than two seconds, they disappeared in front of my eyes, never to be seen again and with all other PDFs in iBooks.

It is a replacement for a defective iPad that was restored from backup.  I have implemented a PDF Library over a long period of time and have never had this problem before and iBooks has not been updated since the restoration, either just before the backup.  Update of what happened before the iOS today.

Anyone know why this happened please?  I lost confidence in my iPad - as I did not work and the knowledge that my references can only have tipped the balance in my favor.

    Thank you very much

    Carol

PDF documents in the iBooks app are not included in the actual backup, restoration comes to pick up the books from the iTunes library section (application iBooks if you use a Mac with her on this subject). As well as saving the old iPad, fact that you produce > devices > transfer purchases to copy over (what to copy a PDF or EPUB file in the iBooks, not only of real iBooks app) - and, if you use a Mac with iBooks on it, then do file > move iTunes inside books? If the restoration was not able to copy them to the new iPad, you might temporarily see their covers of the iBooks app when you first open, but they will disappear when it does not find the actual PDF files.

  • DesignJet 5500: hurt large print PDF file

I try to print a large PDF file to my 5500 and I'm getting "out of memory" and the error messages "lost data".  I tried to use the cable parallel and through the network interface.  I don't know how to check, but I guess that the printer has the amount of memory that was the standard when the printer was new.  Problems of memory seem to be linked to the memory of the printer, because the computer has a lot of memory.

I have a RIP Fiery X 2 - CP, but I've never used. Do I have to use some sort of RIP to the buffer or coil (whatever it's called) between the computer and the printer memory?

I tried to print a picture 63 "long that is 30" wide, the printer will print the entire length but only approximately 12 "wide.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hello

You can find the firmware on the following link

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=82225 & swItemId = pl_59704_5 & swEnvOid = 228

The 5500 doesn't have an EEROM reset like the T795.

If you install the driver HPGL2, go to printing preferences > Services > troubleshooting Menu > compatibility with app 19 bits, use send as Bitmap.

    Issue.

On what application the PDF has been created?

  • A PDF file do not Google Cloud Print on OfficeJet Pro 8600 print N911a

All other types of documents seem to print correctly via Google Cloud Print. Google Cloud Print reports a status of "Submitted", which means they have it made for ePrintCenter servers, but the State ePrintCenter indicates FAILURE. Classic message:

I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

You see the error in the hpconnected or the eprintcenter.com?

I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

-Printer will not respond to touch and Communication Network is lost-I am a link you directly how to set a static IP address, but just know that I will be having try you a number of relevant suggestions if it does not work.

All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.

lost pictures files etc after restoring to factory settings how can I get back them?

Restoring to factory settings formats the disc, and which erases
everything what he. You probably get something new, but you can
try to do a search on the web for a recovery program that unformats the reader
    like here: http://www.easeus.com/resource/unformat.htm

If you unformat the drive successfully and can recover lost files
back, the first thing you should do copy on an external
(CD, DVD, USB sticks, external hard drives, etc.).
    Two other points/questions:

    1. why restore you to the factory settings? This is usually the worst
approach to solve a problem, there's a lot of extra long hard
work and often leads to problems of its own (as it did here).

    2. I assume you have no backup on external media from your
photos of important files etc. In this case. you played with
the fire. You can read this article on the backup that I wrote:

What does "all pdf files came as jpeg" mean?

Do you mean that the icons for the files pdf is the same as the icon of JPGs?
