Recovery of pdf document scanned with Professional XI

Hello

I want to straighten an already scanned pdf file. In the file scanned PDF optimize even if I select to filter ON Deskew and the rest off and unchecked OCR that I still have the choice for the small size and high quality bar. I don't like this because either way it changes the appearance of the pages.

I would just do a little turn the pages leaving everything as it is. Is this possible?

It is not yet decided. But even will be updated in the release notes when this feature will be executed.

We also now have a continuous model Adobe Acrobat DC instead of Acrobat 12, 13 etc. which requires a monthly/yearly subscription. You can try https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html

Thank you.

Generally editable, you get text in the PDF file (which is usually a digitized file OCR) which can be copied or export it to PDF produces a DOCX file (do not expect perfection).

    Hi @JOGL,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that computer analysis can not be activated as well as the scan and combine them into a single pdf document. With your printer HP Officejet 7610. I am pleased to see that for you!

At this time for this model. There is no software and drivers for Mac OS X 10.12 again, given that the operating system has just been launched, it could take some time. For the time being, you can try to use HP Easy Scan to see if that can meet your scanning preferences. In otherwise, all we can do is wait for the software and drivers to be released.

  • Add a document to a several-page .pdf document

Why when I scan a document and add to an existing multi page .pdf document scanned page appear as a much larger?

Well, if you are Windows on a machine, you can print the page scanned to the Adobe PDF printer and set the page size to use... This will generate a new PDF with good size that you can then insert into the original file.

Another option is to use a script plugin of taxation across the page to the desired size, without having to re - print.

  • Scanning with HP Scanjet N6310

I have a HP Scanjet N6310, which is connected to my end 2011 MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion. Although the scanner works well, the size of file for each analysis is ridiculously high. A scan of a page of a document is greater than 4.5 MB. When I took the same page to scan with the copier to my office, the size of the scanned page was only 50 KB. The file size of the document scanned with my scanner is ALMOST 100 x larger than the size of the file of the same document scanned at work. I checked my settings and have the preset on 'document' and not 'pictures', 'slides' or 'negative '. Something must be wrong here. Any ideas?

That did not work. Also, I resumed repair disk permissions and I got this:

WARNING: SUID 'System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent' file has been modified and will not be repaired.

I don't know what that means or how to fix, but I think I may need to uninstall and reinstall my printer and scanner drivers.

If Yes, I think that these drivers I need to install (which include the two that you referred me to in your previous post):

    1) ICA Software: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15179&prodSeriesId=3723469&prodNameId=3723537&swEnvOID=219&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=cs-112996-1

    (2) HP printer drivers: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

    (3) HP full software functionality: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3723537&prodTypeId=15179&prodSeriesId=3723469&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=219

I also think this page to propose appropriate measures, but I'm not sure: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c03428470#c02917078_UpgradeToOsX10.7

Also should I install (and then reinstall) the software for my HP LaserJet CM2320? I don't know, but the last link suggest that all drivers must be uninstalled before you download the drivers.

    Thanks again.

  • 5514 photosmart e-all-in-one: scan multiple pages into a single PDF document?

How can I scan multiple pages into a single multi-page PDF file?
I saw posted similar questions, but I have not found all the right answers. The Council alone that I saw was to scan each page in a separate PDF document, then merge them into a single PDF using third party software.
Of course, I don't want to do.
I can't believe that there's really no way to do it using the existing HP printing/scanning utilities provided with the hardware.
My printer/scanner is the "HP Photosmart 5514 e-All-in-One Printer - B111h", and I am running Vista (64 bit) on a HP Pavilion laptop.

    Hello

The HP scanning software (start > programs > HP > Photosmart HP 5510 series > HP Scan) select PDF and make sure that the resolution is 300 dpi or less.

Make sure the option Show Scan preview is checked, and click Scan.

Once the first page of scanning is finished, place the next page on the window and click on the button "+" under the scan preview...

Once you are done click Save.

  • Why can't scan text in a PDF Document in Windows 7?

I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Edition Home Premium preinstalled.  I use a HP Laserjet 3055 multifunction device as my scanner.  I do a lot of scanning.  With my previous Setup and Windows XP very well worked, quick and reliable scanner.  I do mostly from documents by scanning in the form of pdf files.  With Windows 7, there is a function of scan and fax in the start menu.  The scan function does not provide a pdf format, only .tiff, .jpeg, etc..  Despite this, Adobe on its website indicates that Windows 7 is completely compatible with AdobeReader 9 which is the pdf program I work with that.  I know that the reader do not create pdf documents but in my old configuration, I used 7 Player and never had a problem of scanning hard copy as a pdf document.  Can someone help me?

It would have been a function of the software provided with the scanner.
The scanned image has been wrapped in PDF or OCR software there that output in pdf format.

Check with HP, if your old software will work. I doubt it and think that you will have to find programs to create PDF files you want.

Adobe Reader, in any version, has nothing to do with the way that PDF files have been created. It's just a program used to display.

  • SOS! Comment by modifier content of a native or scanned PDF document?

    Hello

    I don't know about ADOBE!

    A few days ago, I bought a PACK ADOBE € 77...

I thought with PACK can modify the content the native or scanned PDF documents.

    How do I?

    Thank you for your attention

Adobe PDF package can convert PDFs to Word, Excel, etc. and vice versa.  It can also perform the recognition of characters (OCR) when exporting a scanned document.

However, he cannot edit PDF files. you will need Acrobat for that.

How to activate the search function.  I get no match found when I search for words on the scanned PDF document

A scanned document is just an image; even if it contains text, it is not searchable.

Put text in a scanned image available, you will need to perform the recognition of text (OCR), which can be made with Acrobat, but not the free player.
