Recovery P200-1EE broadcast disk

Is there a creator of recovery disk available for this model that I looked on the computer and there is no option to create a.
I have misplaced mine and want to be able to recover if necessary.

Thus, the creator of recovery is available only if you have a disk (HardDriveDisk = Hardrive) recovery, which means:

If only, you can recover your machine from the HARD disk and your machine did not come with recovery media, then you have a program that could create a recovery DVD because you have the recovery on a hidden partition on the HARD drive.

If your computer shipped with a restore CD/DVD support and then you´re of luck and of you´ve had only 2 options:

1. find your convalescence or buy a new
2 create a backup of your HARD disk (for example with the 'Ghost' program or with Acronis "True Image") and use that image to restore your system in case of failure.

Oh, I forgot to mention that if you have a recovery which was delivered on CD/DVD then Don t you a creator of installed disk because it has no recovery on a patition hidden on the hard disk.

Seems logical...

Welcome them

  • Satellite P200-1EE: recovery of product affects both drives?

I have the P200-1EE that has 2 internal hard drives > drive C and drive E. Drive C is the one who has installed on Vista and drive E is were I keep my backup files.

I really want to use a recovery because I have a lot of junk and the system is running a little slow. I just want to go back to factory settings and I know I can do this with my recovering product DVD.

My question is is it just reformat the C drive or it will erase data from drive E too?

I backed up my data to the E drive and I really need the files it contains. I don't want to just that it will be removed to recover the system.

The recovery procedure, you delete the whole HARD disk. This means that the partitions and the data stored on them will be gone.
So, before you begin the recovery procedure back up all your important data.

  • Satellite P200-1EE - Vista stuck on the homepage

    Hello

    * My Satellite P200-1EE is stuck on the progress bar Windows Vista since yesterday morning * and I'm unable to contact my office.

I tried several solutions using the F8 key at startup.

    1 / safe mode

2 / startup repair. "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically.

3 / the system restore. "No restore point.

4 / windows complete PC Restore. "No restore point.

5 / Windows memory diagnostic tool. It is said that there is no problem of memory.

So I am only left with the options of 'Restore the full Windows operating system' and the 'command prompt '.

But I'm not too sure of the latter option. That's where I need your advice.

    * If I go for complete Windows restore, the entire hard drive fade or just the partition where I have windows (for example, "C:")? * I have several years of family photos on another partition (D or E) that I would not lose enough.

Obviously, * I do not lose data or software on C:, but not personal stuff D or E.*
Could you advise me on the best option?

    Thank you

    Paul

    > If I go for complete Windows restore, the entire hard drive fade or just the partition where I have windows (for example, "C:")? I have several years of family photos on another partition (D or E) that I would not lose enough.

Depends on the disc that you would use if you want to use the Toshiba recovery disc, then the whole HARD disk would be formatted, including all partitions on the HARD drive.
If you want to use the disk in Microsoft Windows Vista, you can choose which partition has been formatted and where the Vista must be installed.

    > Clearly, I do not lose data or software on C:, but not personal stuff on D or E.
    > Could you advise me on the best option?

If you n t want to lose the data stored on the D partition and if you don t have a disc of Microsoft Vista, install the OS of Visa then I would recommend, remove the laptop HARD drive. Then plug the 2.5 SATA HDD with a USB-SATA controller then this HARD drive to another computer.
Usually, you should be able to access the D partition and would be able to move all the data to another computer.

  • Satellite P200 1EE problems with playback HD video and USB ports

I bought the laptop Satellite P200-1EE dixons for and I'm happy with it in many ways, but the main reason I bought the 1EE P200 was because of its potential to play and edit the video high defintion.

I can't seem to play or watch video clips high definition without them being clumsy and with a frequency of images at 3 frames per second, and not the 30 frames per second, he must turn.

The clips I'm playing are some MOV files record on my camera at 1280 by 720 resolution at 30 frames per second and the two Quictkime player and Realplayer they simply are not quite smooth. Given that the laptop has a DVD player high definition and a high-end graphics card ATI HD 2600 ispecifically intentional for high defintion watch a DVD high defintion to 2040 by 1080 I do not understand why he should fight with playback relatively low resolution video files.

I would edit 720 video high definition and the speed of the processor, the speed of the bus, ram and graphics card should be enough for this high defintion video simple editing, so if he can not even play video high defintion, what chance does he have to edit video high defintion?

After only 2 days of working completely fine Vista Vista completely crushed and the computer refused to restart. I had to use the recovery disk and completely wipe the hard drive. not a good introduction to vista which, apart from that, it was very slippery. After you have installed Office 2003 it works completely fine on Vista Home premium

Does anyone have suggestions or solutions?

    Hi Daniel

To be honest you message confuses me.
The recorded movies (.mov files) are not format true high definition as in movies on HD DVD or Blue ray!

I think you need to convert these files first in a format mpeg mov or avi format and then you can try to play with ordinary players like WMP, Real player, etc.

    Here are some useful tools;

    Converts mov to mpeg
    http://www.radgametools.com/binkhcon.htm

    Convert mov to avi
    http://www.JakeLudington.com/ask_jake/20051003_convert_mov_to_avi.html

With regard to the question of the USB.
Try to remove the USB port on the Device Manager and restart the laptop. After restarting again the USB ports should be recognized again and the USB driver should be updated.
In most cases, this enables the USB flash drive.

  • No sound on my Satellite P200-1EE

Hi, this is my first post.

I bought a P200-1EE in November of PC WORLD and I am very happy with it. Yesterday sound of my laptop was working fine, but today I get nothing from it. I think it's a hardware problem, because I did a system restore and that didn't work. I did not uninstall sound card and updated drivers to update their. I checked that nothing is cut and that the volume is full.

I think that it went wrong because I can't get anything through head-phones, micro or standard laptop speakers.

It comes with a standard warranty 1 year but I never did anything in terms of before warranty policy. I registered my warranty online as you are asked when you start the laptop for the first time. I don't know what to do he fixed. Should I go to PC WORLD or TOSHIBA?

If I am not eligible for repair, does anyone know how much it will cost to replace the sound card.

    Thank you, David

Prior to what do you any test it with the recovery image and install OS using this rendering recovery DVDs. If the problem persists, it may be the hardware problem but to be honest, I don't believe that. There are some unwanted software.

In any case, for all hardware problem contact partner authorized in your country. The addresses and telephone numbers, you will find under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads > find an ASP.

  • Satellite P200-1EE Possible to recover data on the HARD drive by placing it in an envelope?

P200-1EE does not start after 2 weeks off is the case during a fan installation. Is it possible to remove the hard drive, put it in an enclosure and retrieve the data it contains on another PC? Or can anyone recommend how to recover data from the comfort of my own home?

    Thanks for your help

I would say that your installation of fan caused this problem in the first place. I would check your installation for loose connectors, cards not seated properly, no fan or heatsinks screws tight etc..

Everything you did everything by installing the new fan plugged the laptop. The hard disk, in my opinion, is perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with it.

Put the suspect hard drive in an enclosed and try to access the data on another PC. You will encounter problems with administrator access to certain folders so you will need to find a way to crack in these areas.

If you had problems in the first place you probably should have this return to the place of purchase for them to watch.

I hope that for your sake you have not turned into a frisbee.

    Good luck.

  • Satellite P200 - 1EE HD DVDs - cannot play beyond the language selection

    Hi all

I recently bought a new Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE.
However its HD-DVD player would not play a movie HD DVD (Transformers) at all!

When I insert the disk it shows the first screen - language selection Menu
When I choose English or anything else out there it just crashes and beyond would play.

I had the same problem with another disc too.

All the world has experienced the same problem and managed to resolve it?

I went through some of the other solutions given here inculding update to the latest drivers etc, but nothing seems not to help.

Thank you very much - Arvind

    Hello

You should visit the page of the Toshiba driver and need to update the firmware of CD/DVD players and HD Toshiba DVD player software.

    This aid comes of course!

  • CD and DVD is not a game on my Satellite P200-1EE laptop

    Hello I have a Satellite P200-1EE laptop

My problem is that it won't read any CD or DVD, he repeats to me that there is no driver, someone know the answer to that?

    Its new brand

    Hello

What you mean there's no driver?
The optical disk drive is listed in Windows Explorer?
What is the status in Device Manager?

  • Can I add another HARD drive to my Satellite P200-1EE?

I have recently just bought a Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE. I can't blame it, it's great having a HD-DVD player, Vista Home Premium, 2 GB of RAM and 160 GB Hard Drive. The only problem is that I'm worried that 160 GB will go very quickly in adding games for Windows Game, being a game up to 16 GB.

So I wonder, in the model P200 - 1EE, is there a free slot in one of the hard drive bays, and if so, it would be possible to insert a 2.5 "Western Digital Scorpio SATA Drive (WD3200BEV) 320GB in there?
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=377he on this hard drive details at this page:

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Say the user manual?
Please see the user manual that must be preinstalled on your laptop.

As far as I know not all laptops Satellite P200 would support the second HDD due to lack of second HARD disk controller.
That's why it of necessary to check the second span for the HARD drive connectors available.

Remove the second HARD drive Bay cover and the devil if the interface is not available.

It is maybe something wrong with the battery of laptops of s?
How old is your laptop? Guarantee is valid?

As far as I know, the guarantee covers the battery for one year. Then maybe you should ask and ASP in your country for a control? Maybe the battery doesn't work as it should.

You should visit the European driver Toshiba page from time to time and need to check if an update is available.

  • Video issues ATI HD2600 on Satellite P200-1EE

Hi, I have a P200-1EE with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600.

I've been seeing a lot of colored pixels across the screen, generally blue and green mixed. I could just be reading a word document and sometimes I'm the pixels appear. I found the only way to get rid of it is to restart my computer or remove the cover of my laptop so it hangs my computer, then open it up and they disappear.

I went in the control of catalyst and I put everything to the factory default and it does not solve the problem. It's really annoying to play a game and then the walls are full of green and Red pixels!

I've never updated the graphics drivers on my laptop so I wonder that if they need updating, I bought it in November. I am just a little worried because I have not had the best story with graphic drivers and so I don't want to screw up my laptop.

    Here is the link for the driver > [LINK | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_driver_details.jsp?service=UK&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 152 & selProduct = 746 & selSho rtMod = 533 & language = 13 & selOS = null & selType = null & year = upload & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = 8 & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = null & page = 1 & ID = 61387 & OSI D = 26 & driverLanguage = 42]

Has anyone else had the same or similar problems?

Sorry, the link extends the post.

    Thank you, David.

I think it s a hardware problem, but the question is; What part does not work properly?
Either it's a graphics itself or the portable computers internal view.

You can easily find out what part is malfunctioning; Connect the external monitor to the computer, and then check to see if the same on the second screen. If the same appears then it s a graphics card failure!

In this case the whole mobo must be replaced!

    You are guaranteed valid?
So, don t waste time and ask ASP for help!

  • Satellite L450 - how do you start the recovery from the HARD disk?

    Hello world

I just joined the forum and already I need help.

I have 2 questions (10) I'm an ODP, and I volunteer for a local blind group who all have laptops and rewrite the textbooks in braille users. Now a desire to know how start recovery from the HARD disk drive and what you should do disks for this.

and (2) another received a laptop computer Toshiba A 100 and it does not start as soon as the Toshiba screen appears it lacks a password, we tried all kinds of passwords, tails of start and a new record of program but it does not start. Can anyone help please.

    Ken

For instructions how to recover a Toshiba laptop with verification of HARD drive recovery procedure please this document > http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

The Satellite A100, I presume that you need BIOS password. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. Accredited maintainer Toshiba can remove the password for you.

  • Satellite P200-1EE: DVD player HD Toshiba "video output for external device cannot".

    Need help!

My P200-1EE won't play HD DVDs. At startup the HD DVD software with an HD DVD in the drive, the drive displays on the screen, and after a short time returns an error. The message is ' + Toshiba HD DVD Player - impossible to output the video to an external device. Please change your display device by pressing the FN + F5 keys after the end of the application ' +.

Problem is that I do not use any display on the screen of the laptop. Only the screen of the laptop is available when I use FN + F5 suggestion. It does not cure the problem.

Drivers are up to date as far as I can tell.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I searched this forum for similar issues and I think I have a solution.
It seems that the Realtek audio driver causes this problem.

According to this Toshiba document a new soud driver installation will help you solve this problem of HD - DVD.

    Check it;

  • Satellite P200-1EE - how to replace the keyboard

Ive just bought a replacement for my P200-1EE keyboard, I have an idea but how to replace, anyone know?

    Hello

The keyboard is fixed with four screws that are hidden under the cover of the thin plastic strip above the buttons of the F1 to F12 keys keyboard.
You may need to remove this plastic cover to gain access to the screws.
But you must be careful because it could break.

The keyboard is connected to the motherboard with a flat cable.
First disconnect in order to remove the keyboard.

But note; If your warranty is valid you should not try this because it might void the warranty.

  • Satellite P200-1EE does not read HD DVD drive TS-L802A HD

I bought a P200-1EE of PC World and have found since that she has huge problems for reading HD DVDs via HD Toshiba DVD player software.

I bought the last movie of Harry Potter of Warner Brothers to test the drive. Player software launches (after recognizing the media) once I inserted the disc to hd, but it crashes then once he eventually tries to read the disc. I know that the drive is ok because it worked without any problem on the Xbox HD dvd player, and on about 60 attempts, he played twice!

The guys from PC World pulled a 1EE another P200 of their warehouse and after it is autoconfig he had the same problems, that is to say he ran the player then locked with a black screen (no error) and we finish the task the software does not respond.

I'm a little frustrated and can not find the Board of anywhere. I have updated the bios of laptop computers, but can not find updates the firmware for Player software or drive. The driver doesn'tseem to have updates or the other (version 6.0.6000.16386)

I have an exceptional appeal with Tosh but I hope someone else can have solved something similar.

I am also looking for support playing movies through the HDMI cable, if I can get the laptop working.

Thanks for your time my dear SIRS.

    Hello

You use the Toshiba HD DVD player?
If yes-> trying to update from Toshiba's HD DVD player with the update published on the Qosmio G30.
There is an update of this utility, and the original version must be installed to perform this update!

But please don t forget a fact; HD DVD technology is very recent, and not all movies have been designed with the same level.
Sometimes may occur that the player will manage all HD DVD.

Of course, you could try to test other HD DVD movies to ensure that equipment (HD-DVD player) is not defective
