Recovery plant

I bought a refurbished factory DV7 - 1243CL with Windows 7. I've had network and hard drive problems, so I decided to use the F11 restore to the factory.  This worked fine, but now my laptop has Vista on it.  I called 1-800-474-6836 and discovered that my laptop is no longer supported.  As the HP web site has more to buy the recovery disk, someone out there has the recovery for their DV7 1243 CL disc I would be delighted if I could charge down the ISO of anyone who has them.

It would be great if HP could put these ISOs on their support site.

Hello

I have clone normally C: (operating system and programs normal player) and I can go home (not the factory settings) this point. I use a product called O & O DiskImage (not free), but there are many free products around:

    Hi all

I have an Aspire V5 and you cannot start Windows.

I did not create a recovery DVD or USB flash.
I used to own Dell and they had a recovery on startup option, before Windows loads.

ACerS is an option like that?

If this is not the case, can I buy a DVD Recovery of Acer?

    Please help,

    Thank you

Windows 10 is not preloaded OS (or at least, I'm not sure that Acer is already selling laptop with windows 10 of the plant), it's an update, so ALT + F10 does not work.

try pressing F8 (or SHIFT + F8) to start, or if it does not, you can download windows media 10 installation, boot from that and get into recovery.

  • Satellite P300-1 has 8 can't get recovery plant to work

    Hello

Had many problems on this machine. It started with a nearly full C: partition which has Vista to invoke a disk compression.

After that the laptop boot; After the POST, there's just a blank screen (no blinking cursor). Water from the tap "F8" solution of the manual would not work.

Without boot system, I tried to use a Vista recovery CD. But it would not even start, even after setting the BIOS to boot from CD first, or even using F12 boot selection screen.

I had to physically remove the hard drive from the laptop to get the boot CD. But obviously could not do much after that thing. At this point I think that the hard disk compression utility had corrupted boot sector.

So I plugged the hard drive of a PC desktop, saved all the 3 partitions (1 hidden more 'Vista' C: and D: that holds files HDDRecovery)

I tried formatting and disk and present the scores. This is the point I have problems with that.

I used Boot us software to make the first hidden partition which is what it was. Hidden. In addition, let him without assign a drive letter.

On the second partition I used windows backup to restore the C: drive, this software does not restore all the files the way he left the most important such as Winload.exe, that is why I had to do a factory restore.

On the third partition, I restored the folder "HDDRecovery".

Now, after you change the BCD file, I was able to get into the recovery environment Toshiba from a bootable CD that I created from the hidden partition.

The problem I am having now is this resumption of the factory is a failure because it can't find files HDDRecovery, error, it turns out is:-'the operating system recovery is impossible! Not found the HDD Recovery folder on the second disc of the first hard drive. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer.

I assume by "second disc", they hear second partition. Because when I did a test with a different partition scheme, leaving aside those hidden and have just the c: "Vista" partition and D: "HDDRecovery" partition, I managed to get past this error. But was then stopped by a cheque of Diskpart that looked like for 3 partitions. I added a third partition to see to who would do and completed Diskpart is check selected the second partition and deleted! Note that the score had HDDRecovery files on it.

I hope I explained it well enough, my apologies for the length of the post.

In short, I would like to get the recovery environment factory to work because the changes to the hard drive partitions.

    Hi, mate

Unfortunately, I don't think you can get factory settings with same folder of hard disk recovery. I had the same situation as you. I wanted to install Windows Xp on my A500 and did not have a recovery disk. So the missing factory settings and no recovery disk was available. I didn't pay a price for a recovery disc. I just got the disc to copy windows 7 installed with all drivers and applications that I need. Then do a hard disk image of my current operating system with acronis true image, created a recovery area and that's it. Now, if I want to restore the Os, I just press f11 at startup, enter acronis and it restores from disk image. Need me 10 minutes of waiting...

  • After the installation of the data recovery plant

    original title: restore

I put my computer to original settings and lost my backup disks... .is it remains possible to retrieve my photos and music, etc.

If you have an installation clean back to factory settings, you normally wiped your hard drive clean during the process.

    You can try this program:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

    Thank you

    Rico.

    > How to choose the partition where recovery DVD installation/restore of windows seven?
If this option is not available until the recovery procedure begins there is nothing you can do about it and recovery plant will be based on the standard way.
    > If possible, the procedure to install windows seven & Linux without windows 7 64 bit install DVD (the PC come with 32-bit windows 7...)?
To the first Win7 installation disc with recovery. Later, you can delete the second partition and install Linux. You can also reduce the second partition for more unallocated space on the HARD drive and install Linux.

  • Question about recovery use DVD on Satellite A50

    Hello

My son forgot where he put the recovery DVDs for the Satellite A50 laptop (bought in store for almost 5 years) future, he tried to install Windows XP using another CD.
Later, we found the recovery DVDs, but we can no longer use it.
Is it possible to delete the operating system and re-use the original recovery DVD?

    Thank you

Preinstalled WXP has nothing to do with your try to install OS using recovery media.
I'm really confused why this is happening, but that s be clear:

Saved on recovery media recovery image is created for some portable model and cannot be used on another model of laptop. So before installing recovery starts, recovery image check and compare information with the laptop. If the information stored in recovery image correspond to the information stored on laptop recovery installation is possible, otherwise it will stop.

When the laptop is faulty or repaired service must be portable computer information with the good. If this is not the laptop can be recognized and recovery plant will be halted.

So if nothing is changed on the laptop my only theory is that there is something wrong with the recovery media.
You can send us all the information written on this recovery media (numbers)?

  • Crash recovery system factory

    Hi guys,.

I was doing a system recovery plant for about 2 hours. I have completed the formatting and reinstallation of recovery disks 1, 2, 3 and deleted records. The system continued to install packaged software and was nearly 95% through when it suddenly crashed.

After the reboot of the machine, I get the error the installation is not completed and I need to install again.

Is it possible to recover and complete installation, or I have to start all over again from the beginning of the formatting and insert discs 1, 2 and 3?

I accidentally formatted partition recovery plant installed in my pc hp Pavilion dv6 laptop and it has cleaned all information computor partiton d.

There is another section of the laptop that has this information, which can be moved to the d partition?

The only way to get the restored partition is by running a recovery using recovery discs to return the laptop to the factory settings. If you have not created your recovery media before formatting the partition, you will need to contact the HP Support on the agenda.

I have a gateway with Windows Vista Home Basic x 32.  Recently, it would break any chance and will have to be turned off manually.  Some options in the start screen and I would always click on start windows normally.  Today, I went through the process and came up with the blue screen of death.  He said that if this is the first time you see this reboot, so I did.  Then the blue screen of death came once again, and he said to go in the system recovery options.  Having no idea how to do that I restarted again.  Then the recommended option was to go into system recovery thing, so I said to myself Oh well it will fix itself.  I went in there and he brought me to the system recovery option screen.  It is said to find my operating system in a list and there is no operating system indicating.  Then I read and it says if you do not have an operating system, then load the drivers here.  I click on that and there is a list of about 50 cases.  Inside of some folders are folders more.  I can't possible go through all records to find driver software that he wants me to.  I also never had a disc of windows vista with the purchase of the computer

  • CyberLink recovery disk utility: can not burn to disc when you try the recovery computer

    Hi all

Recently, my hard drive on my HP Pavilion p6674y was wiped out. I have a new hard drive installed in the computer. I created my own recovery DVDs when I bought the computer first. I started with the recovery discs and all was well until about 70% (on the 2 CD at this stage of 3) and then I got an error "0xe0ef000e.

I then did some research and have ordered the discs of recovery from HP and then saw that I must download and burn to disc recovery disks Cyberlink utility so that the discs work. I have serious problems this CD to burn. I followed the instructions and when it is to the burning time of the installation wizard CD does not burn. It says on the wizard I'm full and there is a 'yes' 'no' and the button "Cancel". When I hit Yes the computer I currently use just restarts. I then try the disc (even if I can say that it's always empty) in my Pavilion and the checkmark never comes to the top.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hello:

This utility is not absolutely necessary.

You only need if the HP recovery discs do not work on your new hard drive.

I tried to run the file on Windows 8 and it wrong, then I won't be able to help you with that.

While you wait for your drives HP recovery plant to arrive, you can make your own plain W7 installation media and use that to install W7, so at least you can use your PC.

Here is how to do this.  My only review of the instructions is not to activate W7, unless you want to. Just skip entered the product key from the COA Microsoft sticker on your PC case.

You have 30 days to use the program without activating it.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below. Download the Windows 7 version that is on your product (Home Premium, professional or ultimate) key to apply.  SP1 Refresh of media files are the latest ISO files.

    http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/14709-Windows-7-Digital-River-direct-links-multiple-languag...

Use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. The link below. You need a DVD or a 4 GB flash drive using the USB compilation method.

Use the product key of windows 7 of 25 characters to activate your installation.

    http://download.CNET.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-download-tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.
