  • Stupid recycler USB Virus

    Win XP SvcPak 3

I have this stupid recycler Virus that works on any USB drive.  It doesn't seem to do anything wrong, but it's a giant PITA.  Here's what it does:
hides all folders with SH attributes
copy all the folder for lnk files names
    Adds a hidden recycler folder
Adds a desktop.ini file in the recycler directory
Adds a hidden executable file E621CA05.exe in the recycler directory
Using PROCMON I was able to trap this activity but it seems that the virus called explorer.exe to do his work for him.  Explorer checks the files, makes directories etc and the battery for the event seems to be called by several processes of memory around address 0x29e1cfd.
In my research, I found that the guests of the file to be full of binary data, 152K.  I renamed and restarted the system, but it does not seem to affect the recycler virus.  Maybe something else.
I put the DiskDrivePolicies to 1, and that seems to have inhibited, but not stopped the process to run.
Malware, malicious software, products Antivirus don't find it.  I ran the depth of scanning several times but could not locate the virus.  How something like this recycler virus that has been around for years can not be detected by modern antivirus?
Any help and insight would be useful.

    Hello

    ·         What anti-virus program do you use?

Follow these steps and check if that helps.

    Step 1:

I suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft security on your computer Scanner and check if it helps:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    Step 2:

I suggest you install the latest anti-virus Microsoft Security essential on the computer program and check if it helps.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Recycler Trojan/Virus. Microsoft security scan failed.

I used the Microsoft Scan for spies and malicious software yesterday, suspecting that I got a virus/trojan recycler who has eaten all the space on my recovery disk.  Registry entries false scan identifyied 97 and restored my D drive at its full 2 GB of space.  This followed my also used Malware Anti-Malware bytes scan that identified and removed the Trojan KB2008082810522 Agent. EN.exe, a Rogue Installer, two rogue tools difficulty [HKEY Classes Root\pox and HKEY Classes Root\pofile and two files "Fake dropped Malware".

After Malware Bytes and Microsoft take all these rubbish, my machine is fast than blue blazes.  Today, were to slow like a glacier, apparently because all files removed from scan of Microsoft made their reappearance.  I'm at the bottom of zip, once again, on my D drive.  It's full of files illustrating belonging to an owner or the agent I do not recognize a 'Properties' check: S-1-5-21-1802859667-647903414-18639288812-45188

It seems that the recycler was not completely crushed and that it reproduces itself.  Is there some anti-malware or corrective process that can nail this thing?

    Any help will be appreciated.

  • There are two folders in my D drive named a $RECYCLE. BIN and an other named 'System volume information' is thease records a part of the activity of any virus?

I just want to know is the two folders named "$RECYCLE." BIN and System volume information"in my drive D is a part of a virus activity because when I remove the trash to the folder it disappears, and when I try to delete the other folder recycle comes back and I can't remove to access the second folder named, the system volume information?
    Please help me.

    concerning

These are the two typical Windows system folders. $Recycle.bin is exactly that, the files in the folder are actually moved to when removing other parts of the car. He installed this folder on each drive that you see when you open the Recycle bin icon on the desktop.

System Volume Information is a system folder and contains all the files that reside on the disk that are included in food, distributed link tracking Service points, content indexing Services and Volume Snapshot Service. This deletion would be a very good way to break your computer.

You deleted the parameter Hide protected system files that should never be done unless you have a specific reason to do so. The setting is there for a reason.

  • How to remove the virus $Recycle.Bin

In all readers (C, E and F) of my computer, there are two records of naming $Recycle.Bin and System Volume Information.due their computer also changed my settings I can't automatically remove these folders.even my anti virus unable to detect it.

I use windows 8 and my antivirus is TREND MICRO MAXIMUM SECURITY.

Please help how to remove this virus?

You have enabled hidden files to see them in the first place. $Recycle.Bin contains the deleted files from the drive until you empty the Recycle Bin and System Volume information is good, information on the volume, including system restore points.

If you don't want to see them, disable the visualization of the system files / hidden.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Usually $RECYCLE. BIN is recycle bin allocation form your hard drive partition. and System Volume Information is useful information about your volume.

These things appear because Hide protected system files policy is removed

Most of the time seen Recyclebin in this way is not strange or detrimental. However, if you feel like infected, it is better to take the help of antivirus software

  • RECYCLER error

I get an error when you try to display my records using the workstation. When I click on the drive makes it appear the following message.

Windows cannot find 'RECYCLER\S-5-4-27-100023129-100025622-100024648-4436.com '. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.

This message appears only on Windows XP, I have a dual boot put in place. Vista 64 and XP. I just installed XP on the laptop for the first time about a week ago. It took a lot of work for the appropriate drivers. But I finally found them.

I searched the Internet on this problem and all I can find are forums talking about the car taken hostage by a worm or a virus. But it is not, it is a new installation of XP. Anyway as I scanned the two operating systems using Nod32, AVG, Norton, Adaware and Spybot S & D. I can't find something.

Frustrated with the problem that I reinstalled XP all over again, only to have the same problem back upward. Still frustrated I deleted the resized re Vista partition, removed the Vista HP recovery Partition and tried again with a different XP installation CD. The problem still persists. The only way for me to see things inside the readers is right clicking on them and selecting explore. It becomes boring. Any help is very appreciated.

Well sorry to just take up the Forum with post my problem. While browsing my computer yesterday, I discovered what was causing the problem. • Outlook Express accidentally deleted data form. How can I restore it from the Recycle Bin?

As I said I was moving an e-mail on file to clarify that I keep on many topics.  When an opportunity moving fuction outlook express installs all my local folder to the trash.  a when I try to use the import feature in outlook, I don't see the trash to shoot again in outlook or send to outlook?  I'm not the best person with a p/c, but don't use it assign to all my data.  I don't like the paper.

I went to Microsoft support and the message I got was to call the cemmererical support team?

    Thank you

original title: how to restore my data express form in outlook that was placed in the trash, I moved an email in a folder and all other data files were sent to the Recycle Bin

    1. Please do not use Outlook as a shortcut to Outlook Express. They are two completely different programs.
    2. Bak files, you see in the trash is moved when you attemptrd to move messages, i.e. an automatic backup that occurs when the compaction of your records. They were probably there already.

If you are moving messages, first examine all records to ensure that they don't end up in the right folder, or becomes one subfolder of another. If this is not the case, read on.

    *****************************************

Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

    Why mail disappears:
    http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgone

    Recovery methods:

If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
    http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspx

    And see:

    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
