Red Cross across the symbol of Wi - Fi for Windows 7

I have a laptop HP G60 with Windows 7. Recently and I don't know how, but it was a cred cross on the symbol that shows my Internet connection on the bottom right and I don't know how to remove it. I want to now how to remove it so I can see the connection from my laptop. So think you can help me with my problem?

1. are you able to connect to the internet and browse?
2. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1
Follow the steps below to restore the icon for your network.

a. right-click on a space empty on the toolbar.

b. Select Properties.

c. click Customize in the pane of the Notification area.

d. under behaviour, make sure the notifications and the icon is displayed for the network.

Method 2
I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall ad network adapter drivers and see if that helps.
