Recently, I've copied 2 pictures on my Photosmart HP 7520. Red eye removal was lit and it cleared up the thin red eye.

The problem was that it blackened white teeth in the smile too! Is there a cure for this? It is the only program I have for the red eye removal.

From what your saying, your going directly from the camera to the printer.  I suggest that you use (1) Window library or (2) 3.9 Picasa as your program.  Download the map of the camera to the computer, and then work on the image.

Try the software approach. You will find that you can fix red eye, horizons, exhibition etc very quickly once you play with Picasa. I use it for the majority of my editing & I need to change several thousand photos per year.

  • My dose of red eyes turned green. How to fix it.

I was doing corrections red eyes in photos and color turned to green and made the region resembles the eye shadow. How can I get the correction of red-eye back to black color.

I can only imagine you use Windows Live Photo Gallery?

Actually, the color of the correction is green... it is what kills the red.

When you drag the box... try to include only the iris of the eye.
Zoom in close will make it easier.

Sometimes, there is little red around the eyes and it can be
affected by the correction of red-eye. Including only the iris in the box
    should correct the problem.

I assume you are using Windows Live Photo Gallery
for editing? Back to the original version of the photo...
Left click in the option "Cancel" until the unwanted
Edit is deleted or until the gray option out.

When you use the "Fix red eye"... enlarge the eye by
Zoom with. Carefully drag the box so it only
borders the red eye area. Releasing the
mouse button activates the change. In some cases, you
may need to use the tool 'fix red eye"more than once.

If you make a box larger than the red area of the eye
and if there are shades of red in the region of the face... they can
be obscured. The tool detects red in the selection box
but has no way of knowing if it's in the eyes or elsewhere.

I assume you are using Windows Live Photo Gallery?

When you drag the selection box... try doing a
perfect fit on the red part of the pupil. It's a
bit easier if you zoom in closely on the eye.

You say you can't left-click or drag a rectangle around the red eye?
(This may indicate that your video driver should be updated)

    What happens when you try?

Might be interesting to try to download and install Windows Live Photo Gallery.

  • I can't change red eyes!

I just load some of our pictures of Christmas in the Media Gallery window and its not not let me save edited photos.  I can rotate and put, but I can't remove red-eye or crop.  It throws a message saying "an error prevents photo library to save this image" advice? Please, I beg you!

My Photo Gallery will fix red eye and make a copy of this file. I don't really see an explicit 'save' in the gallery. You do this? If so and it is the fault, you may be able to fix Photio Gallery with SFC

There was a "fix" Windows Photo Gallery button which you given then repair of redeye, color enhancements and cropping options.

the new version on this new computer is Windows LIVE photo gallery and it is not very easy to use and has none of the features that I like that are listed above.

where can I find these options on the new version.

    If this is not possible

How to use the old version without getting rid of the new version of the photo gallery?

I look forward to continue to transfer my photos from this computer to my old machine to my editing.

You might not be able to use these features, because you haven't gotten to complete editing the page again,

Click on the photo you want to edit in any way,

    And press the Enter key,

This will open the photo selected in the edition full edit where the toolbar is available, also listed is close file on the right end of it, by clicking on file close will take you back where you started.

Crop a photo is the only edition that you have to click twice

Time to start the process and once after finishing harvest so it will save the changes.

All other changes are to be saved after you click Close file, red eyes may also have one separate record other than close file.

    Or

Go to Edition > toolbar > Restore Defaults
