(Redirected) Webcam

Hello.  I have a Dell laptop inspiron 15.  It seems that there is a webcam at the top of the screen.  However, if I try to use Skype, no webcam lights.  I can't find any settings for a webcam, either.  I thought I used the webcam once before, but now it is said that the computer can not detect a webcam.  Please can someone afford this webcam or what is my problem?  ?  Thank you.

Okaaaaaay. I obviously did too. Nothing happened. I did what you told me and nothing works.

I'm sorry, but each of your 'suggestions' are things that I did before I came on this forum.

Please, take the time and help me solve this issue rather than the reading of a troubleshooting guide.

  • Envy 15-1030 | Webcam is an unknown usb device

    Hello world

I have one from my webcam on my envy 15-1030ef.

It seems to be unknown in the Device Manager - I guess that's the webcam.

    I tried:

    Re-install HP MediaSmart Webcam, restart

Re-install the Firmware of HP Webcam, restart

Still havving the same question, the stay of device in the 'unknown' State in the Device Manager and the Firmware still refuses to install - I still have the same error.

I've seen a few post here referring to questions similar to mine, but whenever they were closed and redirected to the post on «purple webcam pictures» I saw no solution to the problem.

    Help, please!

OK, right click on the unknown device, click software update of the driver and that it points to C:\Windows\system 32\drivers\usbvideo. sys and see if it takes place... If this does not work. Go to BIOS and set the to the default values by pressing F9 and check... If it does not work... we don't have webcam on-site... While that bit of luck, the recovery may solve the problem...

  • PCoIP Performance / Webcam

    Hi all

It's really a question of both parties. I am runing a 4.6, using zero clients environment. I'm doing use of webcams in my environment. I noticed in the documentation, webcams are not supported for redirection of USB, but have heard talk of others use them without problem. My webcam works but the video quality is bad. Really bad actually. I wonder if it's because this is not supported, or do I need to make use of some PCoIP policies designed to improve the quality of the group.

At the same time, are there standard PCoIP gpo policies that you all are running just to improve the overall performance? I honestly haven't looked these policies much.

    Mike

PCoIP is only USB 1.1 so bandwidth is very limited.

  • I redirected to different Web sites or see pop-ups on Google Chrome

I redirected to different Web sites or see pop-ups on Google Chrome. Some pages are sponsored (casinos, etc.) and some are very suspicious that I won't fully charge and open.

I tried to find a malware from my mac, but can't find.

I have zero parameters of the Google Chrome browser, but which is not helping either.

I'm out of options! Can I get help and advice please?

This only happens in Safari or Chrome?

If this happens only in Chrome, then check your Chrome Extensions. That's all we offer here. I would be reaching out to Google if this issue is only related to the Chrome.

  • Unauthorized access to webcam

So I installed an antivirus on my mac to air that has some features to prevent an applications or websites to use the webcam on my Mac when I do not know and I discovered that whenever I opened an AppStore strives to access my webcam and this attempt is blocked and reported by my antivirus

So I would like to know why some applications on my mac system access my webcam without my permission and which data are collected in a way?

I am not really concerned about privacy, but I think I must know, understand, and control what my system, because it really violates my rights of confidentiality and security

Remove the antivirus software. It is worthless. You're not spying.

  • Logitech C310 Webcam not recognized

I have a Mac Mini from 2012 which I just upgraded to Sierra. Everything went well except the webcam, a Logitech C310, is not recognized by the operating system. He keeps his identification as "unknown device". It doesn't seem to work properly, but I fear that it is not properly recognized by the operating system.

Anyone else have a similar problem with a Logitech webcam that faces a problem?

Contact Logitech technical support. The camera may be incompatible.

  • Question about webcams with Macbook Pro 13-inch, mid 2010

Bear with me as I am the most fundamental basic Mac users. I am currently using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2010) with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 I don't use Skype or FaceTime or something like that. Recently, I joined an online course in which they said I need a webcam, headset and microphone so that I can communicate with my instructor and discussions in class.

I have really no idea what hardware inside is on my laptop. Is the built in camera something that could be used for this purpose? Or do I need to buy these separately three elements to make this work? And if yes, are you easy to install and can anyone recommend something good, but also low-cost as possible.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Your built in FaceTime, camera is sufficient. This is the idea. outdoor cameras are mostly a thing of the past. If the internal webcam is broken, an external is always an option repair vs.

You may need their proprietary software to connect to their course however

  • Clicked on a Web site that was redirected to a video-virus?

I accidentally visited a Web site by typing errors. The site is eonine.com. He sent me to a Web site that redirect it to a video that plays automatically. I have x - Ed out and cleared safari. Could this site put something on my computer? I have an Apple, but that was before the most recent security update.

    Thank you!

Redirects can be caused by adware or malware.

You can use the free Malwarebytes utility to remove it.

    Then click on download.

It of free and takes only a minute or two.

When you are finished, open Safari go to the Safari menu bar and click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab, then click: delete all data from the Web site. Then go to the menu bar, click history > clear history. Then exit and restart Safari.

  • Redirection of partner DK

The IPad, IOS 9.3.4 air; problem with Safari so far.  While browsing, I get random redirects to dkpartner.com, a website that has games in there.  The site requires that I have download at least one of their games, which I would never do. I don't game, ever. The game is probably more malware.  I was careful where I go and I never download anything.

My question: can someone help me get rid of this redirect?  I have followed the instructions to do it manually, but am not opposed to an app if there is trust you.

I deleted the cookies and history and restarted without success.

I appreciate any assistance. I'm at a loss to understand what has happened or how to fix it.

Since you say that you "never download anything", maybe you wouldn't not adverse to the erasure of your iPad and the implementation like new.

If you're uncomfortable doing that, make the settings > general > reset > erase content and settings (after turning off find my iPad) and set up your iPad as if it just came out the box.
