Logitech C310 Webcam not recognized

I have a Mac Mini from 2012 which I just upgraded to Sierra. Everything went well except the webcam, a Logitech C310, is not recognized by the operating system. He keeps his identification as "unknown device". It doesn't seem to work properly, but I fear that it is not properly recognized by the operating system.

Anyone else have a similar problem with a Logitech webcam that faces a problem?

Contact Logitech technical support. The camera may be incompatible.

    Hello

I recommend first load default settings in the BIOS. Save these settings, exit the BIOS and restart your laptop.

Then, make sure that the latest driver for the Toshiba webcam is installed. You can download it on the Toshiba site.
In addition, it would be advisable to install the latest version of the BIOS. Visit the Toshiba page!

In the worst case if you have the same problem after reinstalling the Toshiba Recovery disk it associated material s. This means that you should contact an authorized service provider. Guys can check the mobile and exchange equipment (webcam, cable or something else). Just get in touch with the guys and ask for help. From my own experience, I can say that they always try to help you as best we can.

    Good luck! :)

Most likely the module webcam up upstairs behind the screen bezel went wrong. Very common. Other scenarios, such as the bad cable are possible, but not probable. The webcam module is so cheap that it pays to just buy one and try it first before you pull out your hair with other possible solutions:

  • Webcam not recognized in Windows XP with VMware Fusion

I use VMware Fusion 2.0 on a Macbook Pro with Windows XP.  I've been using Yahoo Messenger with the iSight webcam and I think I accidently deleted the icon at the bottom of the VMware window and now the web cam is not recognized in Windows at all.  The iSight camera works just fine under MacOS, but I can't find how to do Windows or VMware recognizes the camera.  I guess I could reinstall VMware and it might solve the problem but I'm looking for an easier route when it exists. Someone at - it a similar problem?

    Thank you

    Dennis

Have you checked the settings of your virtual machine to see if the isight is activated must be forwarded to the VM?  You might consider checking or setting these options under usb.  Also if you have version 2.0 only then you can consider update 2.0.5 before reinstalling VMware.

  • Logitech H530 being not recognized

Recently, I bought a Logitech H530 headset after the microphone on my old broken, I've had for about 1 year.
When I got home, I plugged into the same USB port as the old man and waited to make it. Shortly after in him plugging, I got yellow bubble message saying that the "peripheral USB could not be recognized. So I took it, put it back it and the same thing, I tried the rest of my USB ports, but I got the same message on each of them.
I got out of my PC and tried in another message even once again, so I have it plugged into a laptop and the same thing.

I intend to return for a new Wednesday because I think that it is faulty because my old one worked fine (with the exception of the physically broken microphone)
But everything that you guys can suggest I'm willing to try

    Much appreciated,
    Louis.

Have you installed the drivers for it?

  • Dell XPS M1210 webcam not recognizing not not driver on Windows 7

I have a Dell XPS M1210 with Windows XP Home, I've upgraded to Vista and later to 7, the problem is when I upgraded to 7 I had problems because I didn't delete anything, after that I decided to reformat the laptop using windows 7 (by removing the entire partitions) and aftet 7 installation I downloaded all the drivers and everything worked well, except that the fan was makin a thud I decided to open the laptop everything cleaned up and put back. Calmed down after the noise of the fan, but the webcam no longer works, it says that it needs drivers, and when I install it, first time he told me plugged the cam (integrated cam), after uninstalling and installing the driver a couple of times, that the camera has detected during the installation of the driver, but after that when I try to use it it says that no cam is currently installed. When I go to the devices, it shows a unspecified device, the USB composite device. I have not been able to find a driver that actually works, or the problem may be the cam is not compatible with windows 7, or when I open the laptop, how can I find out which wire is the webcam. When I turn the cam cell phone makes a sound similar to when you plug a USB device I guess that it detects the cam for a few seconds, what could be the problem.

Problem solved I downgrade from Vista Ultimate, download the drivers and all works correctly, the camera now works perfectly, I guess that logitech has not come with drivers for Windows 7...

    Thank you!!!

Hello members of the Skype community.

given that I've updated Skype to the latest version 6.18.0.106, Skpype said that no camera was found that makes me unable to make video calls. In the previous version, my camera has worked without any problems. As a solution, I installed previous version of Skype, but since Skype is smart enough to detect not being is not up-to-date, it kept connect. I have some ideas how to solve my problem.

    My computer spec:
    ASUS N46VZ

    8 GB RAM
    Intel HD4000 & GeForce GT 650M

  • iMovie does not recognize Logitech HD Webcam C310

I'm running OS X 10.11.6 on a MacBook Pro for 6 months. I would use my Logitech HD Webcam C310 (USB) to import images from a film 8 mm 60 years projector to iMovie, but iMovie does not recognize the camera. FaceTime, however, DOES not recognize the camera, and it appears also in system information. But no matter what I do (restart iMovie, disconnect and reconnect the camera, restart the machine), iMovie displays only the camera, which he calls the "FaceTime HD camera." Appreciate any help to get this camera to work. Thank you

I have a Logitech C920 webcam, and it is not recognized by iMovie.  It is recognized by Quicktime Player and Photo Booth applications and with one of these, you can save a movie that you can then import into iMovie.
