Redistribution of Routes between OSPF and EIGRP
We have a network of test with the topology below. We have two networks connected to a L3 switch. Both networks have an ASA firewall with a tunnel from site to site between them. They also have a connection in conjunction with each other. We want to implement a scenerio where the concert connection is the main route but if that route fails, then it switches to the routethat is above the tunnel from site to site. We have eigrp running on two basic switches so that the roads on the concert connection function properly. However Networking cannot be learned on the second road that goes over the vpn tunnel. We have running ospf on the asa and we are redistrubuting routes in eigrp. Which apparently correct? Look like the SAA they learn on ospf routes correctly however when we go to basic switches and show ip eigrp topology we do not see the routes possible successor. Any ideas on how to make this work?
Hello
The initial Setup looks that you have summarized automatic enabled on core switches, also to the asa eigrp process your redistribution measures doesn't look right about the delay/load/reliability-whats the reasoning behind this? Could you try the following:
Switch main 1 & 2
Router eigrp 100
No Auto-resume
ASA 1 & 2
Router eigrp 100
Redistribute ospf 1 100000 1 255 1 1500 metric
Could you also post the out-of - show ip eigrp topology all-links

R6220 routing between WIFI and LAN stops
Hello
I use the wifi netgear R6220 router. I have a few devices connected using LAN: TV, surveillance and desktop computer, but the computer is available only if UPS is running.
TV is configured using DHCP, but has implemented monitoring static ip = 10.0.0.125.
DHCP is configured to allow the address 10.0.0.2 - 10.0.0.50.
the router configuration is reset to the factory, and only the LAN and DHCP address pool address has changed.
Problem is that, after awhile, I cannot ping 10.0.0.125 (supervisory) WiFi.
After that the router has been rrestarted and configured, it works for a while, and the next day I try to check video surveillance and ping do not work...
I checked Wifi 2.4 and 5G.
I also updated firmwqare to the last.
Do anyone know of this problem, because I do not know if I would come back to router for seller or not.
Thanks in advance.
Peter.
Forget the static use address reservations.

Its routing between speakers and headphones
Is there sort to route audio output program uses? I play world of Warcraft, watch movies and talk & listen with Ventrilo. Is it possible to WoW and VLC Media Player to the output through the speakers while leaving Ventrilo for output through my headphones?
Hello theGlasswalker,
Unfortunately, there is no way that you can configure different programs use different outputs sound in Windows 7. So, you will not be able to play different sounds of different programs on your speakers and Ventrillo.

Design of switching between Nexus7K and active / standby firewall
In the attached diagram, Nexus7K is used in two ways: on the left side, pair NX7K connects to the firewall as layer 2 trunks. vPC VLAN are shared through resources. The firewall is a pair in Active mode / standby. On the right side, another pair of NX7K connects to the firewall as layer 3 rotued links. HSRP or VRRP is running between the pair of NX7K for firewall VLAN SVI.
Because even NX7K have mesh connections to the active firewall units / standby, I want to make sure in failover scenarios (failover firewalls or failures of NX7K), the link that remains between the pair of NX7K and the firewall can actually send traffic (not perforated black).
Failure scenarios I can think of include: Firewall active failover on the eve, failure of the main device NX7K, double NX7K active and failure of peers-link NX7K vPC. I would like to get some advice on what I should consider and implement in these scenarios to achieve high availability.
Many thanks for any advice.
Hello
your topology, I see that the main problem is that the physical connectivity from the firewall to the pair of devices nexus in topologies to fails to a redundant link to the N7K
first since you're using vPC with one counterpart vPC linking the pair of N7K then you must follow the recommendations of Cisco firewalls of L2 and L3 link connection
L2 if you pass vPC vlan on the trunk in your topology and firewall then there is a possibility of blocking traffic or drop cases underwritten by vPC loop prevention mechanism in the case for example a vPC counterpart link gose down
the fix to the East either:
use no-vPC VLAN and link to switch separate inter for VLANs (i thin that you already have this link)
or multi home L2 connects each firewall for the two switch N7K and assuming that HSRP is configured in the N7K and static routing is used between the firewall and the N7K
for links to L3 Firewalls:
You must stream as well (if possible and recommend) and use a static routing between N7K and firewalls and firewalls must point to the VIP of HSRP N7K
multiple L3 and L3 dyanaminc routing peering on the link of the vPC-peer is not supported design
Look at the discussion that might help as well

Redistribution of static routes in OSPF
Hi all
It seems that the static routes can still live even if the designated interface went down.
I added a description for this problem file.
Stephen,
I don't know why the distribution list did not work. Did you include the permit all at the end of the access list? Without it, you wouldn't get the external routes, as you journey.
I have just re-read the documentation for the ip route, 12.2 and 12.4, ' cos I wasn't aware of the useful form of the command that Rick suggested. Here is an excerpt:
Specifying a next digital jump which is on a directly connected interface will prevent the router to use Proxy ARP. However, if the next hop interface breaks down and the digital next hop can be reached by a recursive route, you can specify hop and the following interface (for example "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Ethernet1/2 10.1.2.3") with a static route to avoid the roads pass through an unintentional interface.
Which describes your problem exactly, I think. He comes:
Therefore, the interface specification that force the static route to use only a local next hop.

A Site at IOS IPSEC VPN and EIGRP
Hello
I have a connection of remote site to base via a VPN IPSEC router. I don't want to run EIGRP accoss VPN. Howerver I want adverstise the rest of the network from the router of core of the subnet to the remote site.
The remote VPN subnet is managed as a route connected on the router base?
Configuriguring a statement of network to the remote site on the router base will cause EIGRP announce the road?
You are right.
RRI (reverse Route Injection) is the correct way to announce remote routes as static routes on the HUB, and all what you need to do is redistribute static in EIGRP, so she is redistributed in your EIGRP.
Here is an example configuration:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps6120/products_configuration_example09186a00809d07de.shtml
(It's about OSPF and IPSec VPN dynamics, however, the concept is the same for ipsec site-to-site and redistribution in EIGRP)
Hope that helps.

Connection between PC and Photo Frame WiFi digital Journe Air 1000
Hello
I'm trying to use the wifi feature to transfer files between my computer and the Journe Air 1000. The manual is useless and there is no option in the image menu.
I connect to my router broadband flawless and can read RSS, listen to the radio on the internet etc. The image does not appear in my network (Windows XP SP3) locations.
Can someone help me?
ThanxHello
In the manual, I found this:
+ Services + compatible WiFi using
+ 1. After turning on the unit, press or press the button (see manual for signs of button) on the remote control to switch to WiFi mode. +
+ 2. Press the arrow up / arrow down button on the remote control to select a service you want to use and then press OK or press OK on the remote control or. +
+ 3. Shows a message asking to connect to an access point. Confirm the task, then a list of WiFi stations available.
+ appears on the screen. Select a station and press OK or press OK on the remote control to start the connection. +I also find that this device supports IEEE 802.11 b/g connectivity with WPA/WPA2-PSK encryption.
If you must make sure that your router Cela would support too!But to be honest that I put t think you might transfer the files using the WiFi network.
The chassis accepts RSS, Flickr, Picassa, and Radio services.
I did, t find any info about the file transfer via a WLAN. -
Delay between angle and entered analog on a 6221
Hello
my test setup consists of a (8184 current run LabVIEW RT) embedded PXI controller which uses a PXI-6221 of data acquisition. One of the outputs analog of the 6221 creates a demand for speed that is sent to a servo controller. the servo drives then the test configuration. Between the servo and the remaining test configuration, a quadrature encoder is located. Both the 6221 meters are used to measure the position of the servo (using the trains of pulses A and B) as well as the speed of the servo (frequency of A pulse train). In addition to these counter inputs, some analog inputs of the 6221 serve as well to recored the configuration of test signals.
In this configuration, one of the analog signal has a frequency of n periods per revolution of servo (determined by the mechanical design of the test facility). But when I leave the servo turn to for example 100 rpm, then decelerate from status quo with a constant deceleration and then draw the analog signal against the measured angle, I see clearly that as long as the speed is telling, I n periods per turn (or a passage from my analog AC to zero each 1/2n towers); However, as soon as the slowdown begins, the plot gets stretched along the axis of the angle (so the plot tells me there are less than n analog periods per turn, which is impossible because it would require the mechanical destruction of the facility).
However, I can calculate a position based on speed information signal, as I got to the second counter (by integration of the speed). When I do this for the above velocity profile and draw the analog signal against the calculated angle, I see exactly n times / revolution, no matter how fast the installation program is rotating (just the expected behavior). So, apparently, the speed measured is "in phase" with analog signals, while the measured angle has a "phase error. Draw the angles measured and calculated against the time tells me the same thing: the measured angle is always late (compared to the calculated angle). The period is not constant throughout the measurement; I've seen values between 30 and 170 ms within a single record. Due to this change of variable, inserting a delay for all channels, but the angle is not a great idea.
Unfortunately, calculation of the position of the speed signal is no option for me, because the direction of rotation is changed during measurement; because speed information I have based simply on a frequency of pulse train, it contains no information management, therefore a calculated position would be unaware of the changes of direction.
Does anyone have an idea whence thios delay and what I can do to fix this problem?
Try a position different methods of decoding or exchanging the meter channels has not made a difference.Thank you!
Hey Kevin,
attached you will find the last block diagram (no new translation this time, since no changes have been made that require a), which includes your last suggestions (explicitly start the task of AI, remove the excess constraints) with a flat sequence structure that applies all the preparations of task to finish before the start of the first task (I know I could have achieved the same effect of intelligent routing of the signal error, but I think the code is) better readable this way).
Without OPI, LabVIEW tends to start to have, ao and tasks of the angle of the very different moments, which (for some reason that I don't understand - we have a sample clock based calendar here, and the sample clock is run, well after the three mentioned tasks...) tends to cause delays in the order of several 10-100 ms between tasks. With the structure, this problem is eliminated.
The Sub - VI just above DAQmx writing contains the "conduct" code that I used in the last screen shot to "serialize" the requested speeds - in this way, the table that contains the requirements of speed does not need to be rebuilt.
The code that creates a weather channel frequency implicitly timed measure left the VI shown here in a second VI that is running on the host computer, because everything that involves a calculation and does not require any intzeraction with the DAQ hardware is better placed there (the 850 MHz on the PXI controller celeton is slower than 2 definitiely something host GHz Dual-Core system).
The behavior you mentioned for the task "not started" HERE is what wrote using LabVIEW. I thought the block of relaxation that I had at the beginning would treat the start of the task - at least, the code like this figure repeatedly in the examples that come with LabVIEW.
I don't really understand what has caused the problems I've had - it seems that it was the combination of the measure quickly loop iteration with the start of task based on trigger HERE, but I do not understand what are the mechanisms in the background caused the problem (too forced loop was not the cause; the same block diagram works well with an additional loop timer).
If the solution was composed of the following steps:
-remove the old code calculating speed, replace it with a better code out of the main loop. This allows to
-reduce considerably the frequency of the main loop.
-Pull the DAQmx writing out of the loop, and
s ' ensure that all tasks are started explicitly just before the main loop starts to run.
-Possibly remove excess constraints of the main loop.

Can not scan wireless between mac and photosmart 7515
Print very well between Mac and a printer wireless
Can scan correctly when CONNECTED between Mac and a printer
Have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software
Message says function 'Enable Scan to Computer' if she goes on to say that with Mac users, it is automatically activated.
Mac OS 10.7
Hello
Adding the printer using the Protocol IP Jetdirect (tab within the intellectual property) only will allow you to print.
To scan, Mac must communicate with the device as a Hello. The multicast must be supported by the router.
https://discussions.Apple.com/message/13184615#13184615
As you can see in bellows Joey post, it seems that the router Actiontec M1000 support not Hello.
The user said it was confirmed by the manufacturing of router and a firmware update will be available.
However, any update firmware seems to be available:

I recommend you contact support Actiontec to check all supported multicast router.

RVS4000 routing between VLAN static?
Hello
I was wondering if the RVS4000 allows a static routing between the VLANS. I would like to have three VLANS, one for my cable system, one for my wireless network and one for my print server. I want the two VLAN Wi - Fi and to be able to get to the virtual LAN print server, but do not want the Wi - Fi and VLAN to react reciprocally. Is it possible to put up with this router without the need of additional routers or a layer 3 switch. Thanks in advance for any advice that anyone can give.
By default, the VLAN is entirely routed. You do not have to configure routing between VLANs. What to put in place the filter. You must filter the traffic, which you don't want to pass between the VLANS. Set up the ACL according to the needs.

Link between ITC and CallManager Server
Hi list;
The link between the CallManager and the CTI server is done via JTAPI or one Trunk IP (as gatekeeeper of access using H.323 or SIP controller and so on)?
Concerning
Bilal
Bilal,.
If you plan to deploy the IPCC with Avaya or Nortel, he has no problem using CT Connect as a CTI server. In this case you don? business ICT or CTIOS need t. I have a deployment with ten Avaya Definity and ICM is used for intelligent routing between the ten Avayas and Envox CT Connect is the CTI server for the agents.
You can not use CT Connect with the IPCC and CallManager, for later call center, because CT Connect do? do not provide Contact Center functions: login, logout, ready, etc. With the IPCC and CallManager, you can use CTIOS.
For Avaya, Nortel and other OBXs, Envox CT COnnect provides functionality to connect, disconnect and change the status of the agent. For CallManager only provides functions of phone or the duties of the agent.
