  Since a VSAN Monday accident, I had problems to find a virtual disk in compliance.

  I have a case of open pension but support is not admissible, so I hope that someone here had the same thing and can offer some info.

  The VSAN health tool shows the disk state reduced the availability with no refurbishment

  Best I can say all problems have been resolved, but components will not a resynchronization, even if by clicking on the button "fix things immediately. There is no errors or warnings in the cluster other than this drive.

  Aid has this to say about the State.

  Reduced availability with no refurbishment : The object failed, but VSAN was able to tolerate. For example: I/O runs and the object is accessible. However, VSAN does not re-protection of the object. This is not because of the timer (timer period of reduced availability - no reconstruction) - but for other reasons. This could be because there are not enough resources in the cluster, or maybe it's because there was not enough resources in the past, or there was a failure to protect back into the past and VSAN has yet attempted. See the limits for an initial assessment health check if all resources can be exhausted. You must resolve the failure or add resources as quickly as possible in order to return to be fully protected against a subsequent failure.

  Here is the output of the command "vsan.vm_object_info 7".

  The virtual machine has multiple disks, but it's the only one who has this problem.

  It would be good if VSAN just deleted those OUTDATED and created new ones.

  Hello, you mentioned you tried "Repair of the items immediately", have you tried re - apply storage strategy?  Or maybe make a new one with slightly different settings (bandwidth = 2) and then apply?  My other thought would be storage motion it to another... and then storage proposal it back to vSAN.

  Side note, forget you the support is not not admissible.  It is also something that I noticed, when I called support, I often get out "the guy who knows vSAN is not available, it will remind you.  Really?  "They guys."  Either way, it seems lack of resources of support for VSANs.

• ESXi 5.5 nic teaming/LAG with trunking does not but it works on ESX 4.0.  Both are on the same switch. What gives?

  I have two hosts (vhost1 = ESX 4.0, vhost2 = 5.5 ESX) both are configured for the Group and both connected to a switch of 1544 Adtran L3 (named sw01).  vhost1 has been in production for several years with the config below and has been solid as a rock.  I'm trying to reproduce the installation of grouping/collage on vhost2 and it does not work when are associated but will work when you are using a single NIC (with or without aggregation).

  To be more specific about what does not work, two virtual servers have "Network server" (vlan 8) defined as a group of ports. Both physical and virtual servers on the same vlan cannot ping or resolve queries arp for virtual machines on vhost2.    Everything that is sent from a different subnet can connect to the virtual machines on each virtual server.

  So the question is this: why not ESX 5.5 works as ESX 4.0 when the configs are also near identical, as I can make them and they are connected to the same switch?

  Do you share the vmnic for ESXi management and network of the VM?

  Try to follow the steps in this KB: VMware KB: NICs using EtherChannel grouping allows intermittent network connectivity in ESXi

  Trying to team adapters using EtherChannel, network connectivity is disrupted on an ESXi host. This problem occurs because grouping NIC properties will not propagate to the network management portgroup in ESXi.

  When you configure the ESXi host for grouping of NETWORK cards in attributing to the road based on ip hashload balancing, this configuration is not propagated to the portgroup management network.

  Workaround

  Note: to reduce the possibility network loss please change the route based on the hash of IP using this method of balancing load vSwitch

  1. Close all ports in the physical switch team leaving a single port as active.
  2. Change the Route based on ip hash vSwitch and load balancing management Portgroup.
  3. Set up the physical switch port channel.
  4. Activate the physical switch ports.

  Notes: Using this method will avoid a loss of connection when you switch to a port channel. Also make sure that under the properties for vmk portgroup # used for network management you tick the box "Enabled".

• Constant lag with Apple TV 3rd generation

  Bit of a ' first world ' issue, but really boring. I have Apple TV 3rd generation and also Google Chromecast. I can broadcast anything on Chromecast from a generation iPad 2, iPhone 6 Asia, my iMac 2011, without any problem. But whenever I try to play on Apple TV (including directly from the Apple TV menu), it lags horribly, plays a minute, again with wrong definition (like the old standard through the rain definition), improves and then lagging once again.

  I guess Apple to Apple would be the best, but this is the worst. Makes me wonder why I bought the Apple TV. Chromecast works perfectly, so I'm sure that's not the wifi at home.

  You should check the network configuration of your ATV. He seems to be struggling to reach the internet servers. The more reliable configuration tends to be wifi with DHCP and DNS set to automatic. Make sure that the ATV will connect to the best available wifi network. Note that, when you play back video on ATV, it connects directly to the server. This is true even for AirPlay, but not for mirroring. I don't know how it works with Chromecast, but I wonder if other devices have internet access and ATV is somehow private.

  I just bought the Z10t A 13V PT 141, with W8.1. This computer works fine on W8, but I want to install W10. I already tried 3 times but each time, the cursor (with the touch pad or mouse) is lagging behind, each movement is jerky and works very well. I tried to see if it was a driver problem and downloaded new drivers from Toshiba for the W10.

  I did the same thing with Intel drivers, but for graphics drivers, there is an error message: "a custom computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel driver update utiliy is not able to update the driver. Install a generic Intel driver instead of the driver from the computer manufacturer custom can cause technical problems. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

  When I'm with W8, drivers are correctly updated...

  So I think that the cursor problem is due to this driver problem (I hope so, but I'm not sure). What is the solution? I'M alone with this problem?

  EXACTLY the same problem here with my uograded Portege Z10t-A-140 to WIN 10.
  I also took the same steps and encountered the same problems and no solution.
  I find Toshiba after sale customer VERY INEFFECTIVE and disappointing, because it seems no way to get a support PROFESSIONAL from Toshiba on this issue (or any other for that matter).
  Note that I absolutely do not consider helping other users on a forum or self-help a form of professional support at all!

• Problems of lag with Safari/Youtube

  Hey guys, I had this problem for a while:

  When I close the Youtube tab (normally with a video) to get to the next tab, tab Youtube sometimes freezes for a few seconds before closing completely.

  Then Safari starts getting lag, "restless" and slow, even when I'm on Facebook or other websites in general. I noticed that my Mac starts to slow down too.

  The only way I have temporarily resolve this problem is to remove the story and the datas of Safari and start over. Or what Mac is becoming seriously lag is to restart (it happened seldom).

  This problem has occurred before the update to OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 (I thought that it improved...)

  Clues or suggestions on what to do?

• M4800 Precision: Input lag with a log in, Switchable graphics does not, fan GPU "chirp" when it starts.

  I recently bought a new M4800 for an i7 quad, and a m5100 over-pants GPU. So far, I was rather satisfied with the purchase as it is what I need it to do. However, there are a few quirks that prevent from being 100%:

  and finally: the computer is dead silent most of the time, even the fans are pretty quiet. However when the GPU kicks fan on after being off for a long time, there is sometimes a noise, I can only describe as "electronic chirping/scraping" until the fan whirrs to life, it affects not at startup, but randomly as you use on battery and plugged. the configuration management thermal "maximum performance" to keep the fan on all the time to a certain extent eliminates noise. Is this normal? or is this a problem?

  My personal experience has been a long and trying a.  First, they sent a technician to replace the graphics card with an another week.  Has not made a difference.  While they had tech replace the motherboard.  No difference.  So, I insisted on a new m4800 with the nVidia processor.  That's how I got mine.  BUT I think that if you pushed, maybe they could send a technician to change your graphics card.  Or at least send you a different model (for which you need of course a different driver), then you could install or take to a repair technician.

  For what it's worth, Dell knows they have a problem with this hardware configuration and told me that they raised the question to their experienced engineers.

• Problems to use LAG with 2504 and 3560

  Hello, we recently bought a 2504 wireless controller, and I can't using the aggregation of links (LAG) to connect the WLC to the network.   I was able to connect properly to the contoller using a single link, but as soon as I activate LAG (on the switch and wlc) I'm unable to access the controller.  I think that I have the correct position of the switches as the port channel is active and shows active on the controller via cdp.

  I can't do a ping of the controller, but I see it via cdp.

  The controller runs 7.4.100.0 with bootloader 1.0.18

  The switch is a WS-C3560G-48PS and running 12.2 (25r) SE

  The controller is 10.10.10.202.

  No access-lists on interface vlan switch

  Note that I have currently the 2nd stop of the port as the first member of the Association is active.

• Chronology of Lag with AVCHD (MTS) files

  We have been editing with AVCHD MTS files for years without any problems.  In the last week we have timeline lag when editing.  When the timeline scrub the video pauses for 30 seconds before starting again.  He's playing very well until you stop it.  Move to another part of the timeline and you sit and wait.

  We test and all passed: processor, hard drive, RAM, video card

  System:

  Windows 10

  OS & software on SSD, media on separate disk

  CPU Intel I7 4930K

  T.I. card video GeForce GTX 780

  32 GB OF RAM

  Please go to Edit Menu of Premiere Pro > Preferences > Media and uncheck the option "Enable accelerated h.264 decoding Intel."

  Once done restart Premiere Pro and check the performance.

• Windows lag with P20 / P25

  Hello!

  I have an environment that is running well. but I have an annoying problem, and it's when you drag a window on the screen as the pointer, and then the window (choppy and yes)

  However, when you run the same office with a view all Client software is smooth!

  How is that? Shouldn't the P20 / P25 be better?

  I wish I could explain it better, but I hope someone has a solution...

  Finally, now Teradici has found a solution to my (and other) problems regarding windows lag compared to the chipsets TERA1!

  SCENARIO:

  Although there are many factors that determine the performance of office (for a list, see troubleshooting steps general - poor performance on virtual desktop (15134-932)), lower performance of window drag can be observed in the following scenario:

  • Virtual desktop VMware view Horizon 5.2
  • APEX 2800 is not installed or hardware acceleration is not enabled for the virtual computer
  • Tera2 double zero display customers running firmware 4.1.0

  In some cases there may be PCoIP zero client journal entries such as: LVL:1 RC: MGMT_IMG-500: (pkt_rx_resource_check): lack of Imaging Resource. Removal of imaging data. Workaround: This will be addressed in a future firmware release.  To work around this problem, determine if the codec of color is the issue, configure the following registry as shown below key to see if the problem goes away. PCoIP.enable_new_color_coding 0 The registry key is a DWORD value. Note: Make sure that you have the necessary safeguards in place and are familiar with editing the registry before proceeding. To change the registry key:

  1. Click the Windows Start button and type regedit in search programs and files.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Teradici\PCoIP\pcoip_admin.
     (If you do not see the "Teradici' key and the following keys, you will need to create them)
  3. Add the new DWORD value and name it pcoip.enable_new_color_coding.
  4. This gives a data of 00000000 and click OK.
  5. SE disconnect/reconnect your PCoIP session for the change to take effect.

  In my case I also had to disable Image caching, same location: pcoip.enable_temporal_image_caching REG. DWORD 0

  Now, the TERA2 behaves and works as well as does the TERA1!

• How can I take to reduce noise with noise reduction?

  I played with the software of noise reduction which came with premiere pro and is not here to reduce the noise at all.  Is it possible to give him a sample of the noise that I want to drop?

  If you have installed hearing, just click with the right button on the item in the timeline that you want to change and choose item to edit in adobe audition. This will make a duplicate (if needed to return to the original sound still there) and open it in hearing. When done just hit save at the hearing and he should update the file in the first.

• Anybody have the same bug bit of lag with Wacom and photoshop cc from Yosemite installed two days ago?

  I just installed Yosemite on my mac two days ago.

  27' iMac, with 32 GB of ram... so I actually not lag issue.

  I use a Wacom Intuos 4. Last driver installed yesterday.

  But since the upgrade to Yosemite, there's a bit of lag but horrible bug when I touch the wacom with my stylus.

  Please help me!

  After the installation of Yosemite and faced with the delay of two weeks, I spent a week on all the forums trying to find a solution, then I spoke with several representatives of the customer service of adobe and wacom.  According to a representative of adobe, wacom drivers are not completely comparable with yosemite, but they hope to be soon. I finally uninstalled and resettled yosemite mavericks, November 2014 wacom cintiq driver and photoshop CC 2014 and now my machine is like new.

• Problem of color and Lag with Flash.

  Hi, I have this very annoying problem with flash. The photos below show what I mean by the problem of the color and the video shows the offset. I have impression projected both videos to show you how to receive. I've included links for you to see the video.
  

  Without even looking at the video, I guess you can see that there is something wrong already, to compare watch them the vid.

  PLEASE NOTE:

  • I tried to reinstall or uninstall the flash player (I used adobe flash uninstaller)
  • I also experienced a two errors while watching a video. the video card (Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT) gave my windows 7 (32 bit) an error and the screen flashed but I then recovered but the video does not.
  • I think there could be a problem with my monitor recent update and also the use of two screens. Maybe the graphics card just cannot be considered.
  • I checked the different browsers and the same thing happening even IE9 HTML5!

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.
