Refresh a screen with a KeywordFilterField

How can I get the screen to refresh after deleting an entry in a KeywordFilterField?

If I close the screen and then re-open it, it seems OK, but I want the screen to refresh as soon as the entry is deleted.

If it were a ListField, I could call setSize and setCallback, but those who do not exist for a KeywordFilterField.

I also tried invalid, but it does not work either.

Thank you...

For all who are iterested, the trick was explicitly to remove the entry from the list filtered using:

Object selectedEntry = _keywordFilterField.getSelectedElement ();
_filteredList.elementRemoved (_list, selectedEntry);
_list. Remove (selectedEntry);

  • How to refresh a screen with fields update

    I am writing my first BB App trouble and having to refresh the objects on screen (among others).

    I have an application with a main screen that calls an options screen.  The Options screen allows the user to change the system of units, using a persistent store.

    Return to the main screen of calc, the calc main screen have updated the text to reflect the change of units.  I see other messages that I can use invalidate(), but I don't understand where to put invalidate() in code.

    During the initial load, the main screen must get the persistent metric indicator before set labels with SetUnitLabels() areas.

    The options in the menu pushes the options screen.

    Burst the options screen and pushing the calcscreen returns to the main screen and must call the SetUnitLabels() method to update the text in the field.

    It's the constructor in the CalcScreen, the main screen

    public CalcScreen() {}

    Super();

    boolIsMetric = myOptions.getBoolMetricFlag ();  retrieve the metric indicator to set the text on the screen

    addScreenItems(); Adding visual elements to the screen

    calcScreen = this.getScreen ();  I get the name of this screen for later use

    }

    This method pushes the options screen options:

    {} public void options()
    ClearScreen();
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen (calcScreen);
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new OptionScreen (calcScreen));
    }

    This method goback in the screen options returns to the main calcscreen:

    public void goback() {}
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen (this);
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (toScreen);
    };

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    I tried to use the following executable invalidate(), but I don't know where to put it so that it is called.

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable() {}
    public void run()
    {
    SetUnitLabels();           Make changes to screen here.

    calcscreen. Invalidate();
    }
    });

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    I'm sure that the answer is something simple, but I just don't get it.

    Thanks for your help.

    The appearance of your code, when you exit the Options screen, you push a replacement, so the code that I have proposed may not work - she expects a different screen management technique.  .

    In general, I have a splash screen of the application, which is still there and then I push the next screen when the user has finished with this screen, I pop, which appears again the screen below.  You can have several layers of screens like that.

    Now when I go into my Options screen, processing code goes to just a pushModal, as you did, then the following modal push code will be executed when the screen Options ' pop so at this time, I can update all the values on the current screen.

    It is roughly what you suggested, but you have not need jump the calcScreen because you want she displayed when the Options screen is out, so he might as well stay on the display stack.

    Does make sense?

  • Create a background thread to consume a webervice and invalidate Manager to refresh the screen

    Hello

    I create an application that uses Web services to place objects on a VerticalFieldManager with the received information. What I'm trying to do is first tap on the screen and then consuming the Web service on the merits in order to refresh the screen while he receives the info. Right now my app uses the webservice from the preview screen, but it doesn't push the following until he finished consuming the WS.

    I read that you can create a background thread, and then syinchronize with the user interface refresh (invalidate()) screen, but I don't have all the tracks of where to start. Can someone help me please? Including creating a background thread?

    Thank you very much!

    The best way for your background screw to change your user interface within the constraints of the

    UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable()
    {
        public void run()
        {
                     //your UI modifying code here
            }
    });

  • How to refresh a screen without making a new Instance of the class

    Hi all

    Please help me.

    I need to refresh a screen of components such as the text box, list etc without (pushing the new instance of the class) using the old instance.

    I use:

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeAndWait (new Runnable() {}

    public void run() {}

    invalidate ();

    }

    But it will not refresh the screen components.

    I need to change the label of the text box, choice of etc group on click on the Refresh button.

    Please suggest me

    Thank you

    Again, I agree with BBDeveloper, just wanted to add an alternative solution.  You must have the code that sets the values in those fields anyway.  You can separate the code that adds the fields to the screen of the code which sets the values in these fields, place the code that sets the fields into a separate routine and call this routine to during the construction of the screen and the screen refresh.

  • iPhone 7 more stuck on black screen with the spinning wheel

    How can I fix it? I tried to reset, go into DFU mode, recover from iTunes. Nothing works. I can't use iTunes because he wants me to grant access from my iPhone is not responding. DFU mode doesn't work, the screen does not any combination of seconds I hold down the buttons to. This has happened more than an hour. Should I just wait for the battery to die? Please note that I do not live in the United States or the U.K. or anywhere with an Apple Store, I can take it to.

    Thank you

    Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

    I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation. I tried to update some of my apps, when suddenly the screen froze. I clicked once on the home button and the screen become black with the subsequent appearance of the circle of rotation.

    I have tried everything - simultaneously press the home button and power (does not work). connected to itunes to do a restore (it won't let me not because my "find my iPhone" was turned on - but I could not turn off because my phone was insensitive).

    In any case, a very useful Mr. Damon (Senior Advisor to Apple) helped me via chat to solve the problem.

    Here's what I did:

    1. make sure that your iPhone is disconnected from the socket or the computer.

    2. hold the POWER button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the same TIME. If it works, the screen should turn off almost immediately.

    3. connect your iPhone to the computer. (when I have connected to the computer, my iPhone automatically on and was ready to be reused).

    The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

    4. go to www.icloud.com.

    5. click on Find iPhone

    6. given that the phone is turned off already, he won't be able to find it. On the top bar, click DEVICES.

    7. click on your iPhone.

    8. click on "delete account".

    9. go into your itunes and do a restore.

    I did have to do steps 4 to 9 more, because as I said, my iPhone automatically activated after step 3.

    This really worked for me. I hope this works for everyone else too! Have a great day!

  • MacBook (2010) starts with black screen with flashing Apple logo

    I recently got ahold of a Macbook Pro 2010 running very slow so I did a reinstall of the operating system (which was a living nightmare, Macintosh is not as easy to manage as it was at the time of PowerPC) once I got to the top and running, I decided to upgrade to the latest version of El Capitan (an update (not an upgrade I already had a version out there) once I rebooted and let the computer do its thing he began to start up normally, but after finishing the progress bar, he went to a black screen (with the screen still on) that flashed the boot from time to time Apple logo. I forced shut down the computer and start in safe mode with success (that's how I'm typing this post now).

    Thanks in advance.

    When you reinstalled, did you remove any third-party system before reinstalling.

    A Mac that runs in Mode without failure, but are generally not normally indicates some incompatible system changes.

  • Bug: iOS 10, Siri invades even lock screen with power off

    iOS 10, Siri invades even lock screen with power off

    Since the upgrade to iOS 10 (iPhone 5 s) siri appears when I forgetting to unlock my phone because I'm not used to this way to unlock yet. But siri on lock screen is disabled in the settings. I can close siri all together, but I don't consider it as an option.

    Is this a bug in the iOS 10 or did I miss something?

    Hello nick_ve,

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

    I see that since you have upgraded to iOS 10, Siri starts each time you try to unlock your iPhone and Siri on the lock screen is disabled in the settings. I completely understand, because when I upgraded, it took me a few tries to get adjusted to unlock with the Home key. I'm more than happy to help you with this.

    Press the Home button on your iPhone 5s once unlocks the screen, and freezes for more than one second will activate Siri. It is good to keep this in mind when you unlock your iPhone.

    There is also an alternative solution I would like to share with you. You can disable this option in settings > general > accessibility > Home button. Turn the finger remains open. You can unlock the iPhone with Touch ID without having to press the Home button.

    Have a wonderful day!

  • white screen with purple lines?

    Hi, I just tried to update my iphone 5 to latest IOS and after the black screen with the Apple logo and the loading bar finished it went to a screen with edges white and dark with purple in the darkest bits lines.  I tried to plug it into my pc and go through the itunes app, but it does not record that the iphone is also my lock button is broken so I can't try to do a soft reboot. No one knows what it is and how I can fix this problem? Please help me

    Try to see if iTunes detects the phone into recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. This procedure requires the use of the home button but not the lock button, it should be OK.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance

    When sharing my project there are some clips that show a red screen with a camera saying error. How can I solve these clips if I can share the project correctly?

    This happens usually when the import process was not completed. If you have the original camera card - or a copy of the computer of the map - you can probably use the re-import command (on the file menu) to fix things. In addition, it is possible that the original media is imported, but this transcoding was not. If you have chosen to optimise upon import, try to select clips in the browser and transcoding to optimized.

  • Windows 10 boots and stuck on the black screen with high CPU

    Hello

    I have a MBP 15 "mid 2015 16G with AMD R9 M370X i7.

    I've been running bootcamp with Windows 10 installation for about a month now without any problems.  However, yesterday 10 Windows started and has been blocked in a black screen (before any screen logo or connection win) with the CPU works hard and hot.

    1. I tried to restart some time hold button / stop and start with the option key, key and then selecting the windows bootcamp partition but it drove the same black screen with CPU hot work in the background.

    2. I can always start OSX fine during this period.

    3. I tried to leave in the black screen for a good 10 minutes, but it does not change and the MBP gets really hot.

    4. I tried clearing NVRAM with Boot option + command + P + R

    5 I can't in Windows 10 safe mode using F8 or FN + F8 after you select windows to boot manager (starting with the down option).  Am I missing something here?

    I don't have a copy of Installer windows 10 with me right now unless someone can tell me how to create one under OSX.

    I searched on the internet forum and apple, but have not found a solution that works for me.  Many speak of win10 black screen with cursor showing, but my question is just a black screen with no cursor.

    Someone at - it other ideas besides reinstall Windows 10?

    You have a black screen with or without power adapter, both? If 10 Windows does not start correctly three times, it should bring up the recovery console. Windows automatic updates are enabled? You have created/activated Windows system restore points?
