  Hi all

  I try to write my first semi-vaste program. He successfully install drivers and serial for my test steps, which are going well. However, I have problems with creating a nice log window. I am currently using a standard text indicator and messages of PASS/FAIL indicator formatting output.

  Basically my Subvi is trying to determine if the string is SUCCESS or FAILURE and assigns a color on this basis. index and index + 4 (success/failure being 4 letter words) are indicators, that within the MAIN program loop to increase or find the next instance of SUCCESS or FAILURE.

  However, it seems that only a few words (which are not same SUCCESS or FAILURE) are awarded randomly red or green. The second passage, the whole journal is red for some reason any.

  I also tried this in the same line as the indicator of the log window, and in this case, the Word changes color, but whenever a new row is written, everything loses its color and is all black again. I can't seem to find a thread with someone using this exact application. Any help at all would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  When I join an e-mail text that says: "See annex" appears in the body of the e-mail message. I would like to change this text to say something else.   Nothing like what you're talking about, so I'm not sure that it really is.

  When you click on write an e-mail and then add an attachment, I see nothing but a name of attachment in the upper right of the email.

  I have an ASCII/text indicator on my FP. FP uses a .png file as the background, with a block diagram. The diagram is a white background with lines black, figures, etc. I wish I could change the background color of the indicator of ASCII text / to white, so that it better matches the white background of the block diagram.

• Start the text layer (using the text tool) of the current-time indicator - Adobe after effects CC

  It's something that would drastically improve the speed of my workflow. When I click inside a composition using the text tool, the text layer is always positioned at the beginning of the composition.

  Is it possible to make the text layer from the current-time indicator, so don't constantly do defiler to the beginning of the composition and drag the text layer forward in the desired position?

• The text on some site is so light, I can hardly read and refreshing FF does not help

  I have an old laptop Toshiba satellite running Windows 7 and 42.0 FF. I always had a problem with the text on some web pages (including text, I'm typing now) is so light that I can hardly read it. I can't include a screen because I do not seem to paint on this computer. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

  There are two sets of parameters. The web site/page current and comprehensive
  (all pages web/sites). Tap the displayed icon, and there you have it.
  All settings will be saved on a bass of each site.

• When I receive an SMS, the digital indicator does not appear on the text message icon. Why?

  Once I receive an SMS, it should be a digital display on the icon of the SMS application that displays the number of messages unread I received. This is not the case. So I am unable to see that I have received a message, I don't have the text application open. No idea why this is?

  Check the settings-> Notifications and see if the badge icon is enabled for this app.

  Export the project as XML in the file > Export > To XML and open XML. In the XML file, search for "Question 1 of" and change "Question" with the french translation.

• Text object has changed, but the text not refreshing

  I've searched and searched for the problem, but I am having no luck.

  I have a simple text object. Dynamically, as the buttons are clicked, I want to set the text value of this text object. I tried:

  textObject.rawValue = "my text";

  The text on the PDF file does not update. It is a dynamic PDF, like other scripts on the work of the page. I used this same code to properly set the text to a TextField object, so I'm stumped.

• How to highlight all of the text control / seeing?

  I need a VI, just by pressing a button I could selects all the text in the control or the indicator to be able to copy then pressing CTRL + C.

  I tried to play with the property with selection of startup, select the end node, but no results.

  Also did not find any documentation or examples on how to highlight the text in the indicator.

  Could someone help with this?

• Dynamically change the color of the text substring

  Hello!

  I'm working on a simple serial terminal and I would like to change the color of each line depending on whether the message is sent or received. I have an indicator of string in which I add all messages, sent or received.

  My problem is that when I change the color of a substring by using a property node, all the text in my chain indicator changes. Here is a small Video that shows my problem (my real VI is a little too big to put here but the part of string works the same. I concatenate, keep the clues and apply the property node):

  Any idea on how I could change the color of the new line? It seems the selection doesn't really work, because everything in the chain takes the new color.

  PS: I've seen a web-based solution in which the property node must be extended for every line, of course it does not work for me as the number of lines changes dynamically.

  The problem you have is that the string contains no format information and it does not keep the indicator.  You will need to set the font.color in each line, each time you receive a new message.  See my post here - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Different-fonts-in-string-indicator/m-p/1601602/highlight/true#M5823...

  With the help of members of the forum, I understood how to use the 'Touch down?' event to send text series when the user presses the button «Back»  Is there any way I can limit this function so that the data is only sent when the cursor is in or on the correct text box AND the user presses the return key?

  You will be most of the way, if you change the event handled in a key event down to the control of the string, rather than for all VI.  This way, you haven't really even to worry about key priorities.  You have control over the "Limit to the single line" value chain so the new line in fact will not be added to the string, but you will always have the event.

  The other problem is that you read the value of string outside of the structure of the event, so the value you write to the indicator will be flawed when it is written.  The string value is not actually until you press the Enter key.  The event fires at the point where you hit enter so that it uses the value that is on the line at the time, which is the value before you hit enter, then your indicator gets old.  There are several possible solutions.  A simple, but not necessarily good option must set "Update of value while typing" and assumes that the user will always wait for at least 10 ms between the last strike and enter.  Of course, if you increase the timeout value you may miss some characters, and there isn't really a need for a case of timeout to all in the structure of your event (just another case for the power button).  Putting control of the Terminal string inside the structure of the event does not solve the problem - again, the event occurs before the new value is treated - but, oddly enough, reading the value of a property within the structure of the event node works (while reading a local variable does not work).  It could also save a dynamic event that triggers the update based on the control indicator.  You can add a registry to offset Boolean to act as a flag and handle the case of the value has changed for the control of the chain as well.  In the case of the value has changed, if the Boolean value is set, updated to the indicator and always set to Boolean false.

  Sorry it's all rather complicated, there are quirks to LabVIEW treatment event.  Reliable the more straightforward approach is probably reading the control value of the string to a property node in the case of the event.  While property nodes are not generally recommended, especially for obtaining or the settting a value when the terminal is on the same side, in this case I think that it is the least complicated solution.
