• When I click on "View history" I completely lose the Firefox menu bar, I can't even quit the application without using a keyboard shortcut.

  The question describes all this: when I select "view history", the menu bar disappears, so I have no way of navigation, there is no arrow to the left, nothing.   Both of your corrections helped. The first reminded me that I could simply use command-W to close the library window, because it did not show a close"" button. But your second response on rename these two files really made the tour of Firefox back to his old self once more. Now, everything is back to normal. Thank you.

• Please could prevent you Firefox bringing existing windows more on top of my current Firefox window. It's REALLY annoying.

  Ok. I opened firefox with an initial of the window. I have to open another window separate from Firefox. Then I navigate to (of) some sites in the second window. The first window appears on top of the second window.

  I'm not the only person to have been annoyed by this "feature".

  One of the possible reasons are that the last window used Flash and precedents do not have. History and solutions are in this thread: opening of new windows and Shockwave Flash.

  Flash must offload completely from memory (Firefox restart might help) before it comes into force.

  This happens when you use comment tools and simultaneously editing tools in the same session.

  Workaround: Do not use the comment tools when editing. Wrap with Assembly before moving to comment.

  You cannot assign a new function to the Windows key, natively in Windows 7 or Vista.

  You can't create hotkeys for pasting text into a form or document, natively in Windows 7 or Vista.

  Internet Explorer has a way to save the data from the forms (AutoComplete) if it is of no interest.

• How gradually save images using a keyboard shortcut

  I'm working on a project in which I need to save "snapshots" of my progress. Basically, I work on a digital sketchbook and am trying to record the status of each brand, I do on the page. My workflow for this project contains a line design and then selecting previous state of history, erasing the lines, I don't want and overlay of the ones I do. The idea being that I can catalog my entire workflow and progress in a series of images to display on my blog of sketchbook. This is part of a project long term to track improvements and I'm following this ideal for a multitude of images every day.

  I guess all I ask because here's a script that will run and save a JPEG of the current .psd, adding a suffix "_001, _002, _003" in behalf of file, check if the current suffix is taken and changing the following. This way I can catalogue the "snapshots" of mutiple images in the same folder.

  With the help of Photoshop CS5 on OSX Snow Leopard.

  I do not understand how this example you posted on apex.oracle.com covers the original thread you linked to. For example, I don't see where you call the popup of? is page 1 the popup? What is the parent page?

  By the way, the solution that I put forward in the thread you linked does not work for me in a project, I've been working at this moment, I can't explain why. But as a work-around, in the success of the DTF process message you can just put in:

  This will cause the window to close once the DML process succeeds. And then submit the page parent, causing a refresh. You can do an alert of a description to inform the user that the process was a success.

• Keyboard shortcuts for the video Composite and Audio Waveform

  I work in Premiere Pro CS6 on Mac OS 10.10.5. I am constantly switch between views video Composite and Audio Waveform in the Source monitor Panel. To do this, I have to use the mouse to click on the key icon, and then select one of the points just at the top of the context menu. My workflow would be so much faster if there was a keyboard shortcut.

  The official page of default keyboard shortcuts indicates no shortcut for these menu items. Mac OS system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts [shortcuts App] allows me to create shortcuts for application specific menu items, but not for context menus.

  Is there, however, a way that I can tell Premiere Pro CS6 to use a keyboard shortcut for the video Composite and Audio Waveform views?

  You can create your own... If you scroll the list link you to that, there is the Source section of monitor... which has options short keyboard available for your two wishes:

  

  Then, use Cmd / Alt + K to do your editing of the keyboard shorts... Scroll way down to find this section, then create a short. At the bottom, it will tell you if it comes into conflict with one another. Here I come to make Composite video, abbreviated as CC2015.2:

  

  By clicking on the line to the right of the effect you want to order makes these empty lines appear the "x" you will see in this view... click again and you can start typing your proposed short. If your entry on this line is already in use, will appear this very practical warning:

  I had a problem recently with Photoshop on Windows, and it has destroyed my workflow these days.

  Whenever I try to use a keyboard shortcut (for example, V to use the move tool), photoshop will believe that I try to open the view menu at the top. clicking away and pressing V again just reopen the menu display, and I'll end up having to manually select the tool. This happens randomly for a large number of different tools.

  Why does this happen? How can I permanently turn it off?

  In the Menus and keyboard shortcuts, please take a look at the screenshot and see if the shortcuts are assigned a default value.

  I'm kinda a noob and following a tutorial... and found something strange and I wonder if you could help me understand what is happening.

  I have Photoshop CS6 extended on a macbook pro (late 2011).

  I am running OSX v 10.7.5

  I'm the long and the instructor has added a new layer. I did it.

  He then filled the white layer which is its background color (it has foreground black, white background). I have same evidence / background colors.

  Now I thought on mac to fill with the foreground color, you hit Apple + Delete and to fill it with the background, press Option + delete

  It's the exact OPPOSITE for me. I hit Apple + DELETE (or even BACKSPACE) and filled it with my background color, which is white

  If I hit Option + DELETE (or RET.), filled it with my foreground color.

  I tried searching in the area of keyboard shortcuts change... but I do not see these settings anywhere.

  I have an external keyboard plugged into my mac. It is a 3rd party one, but seems otherwise never function normally.

  Trying to simulate the use of keyboard shortcuts, including function keys, is almost always an exercise in futility.  Your end user's web browser gets dibs on the F keys as well as any other key combination that sometimes you want to reserve for its own use.  No matter what you do, you cannot override it with what you do in the Captivate content.
