The open Finder window is located in the window menu, and I choose to see it and use it. Before the upgrade, command-tab would be near the top of the Finder window currently open and active.   When you leave viewfinder you close the window you were open? If you click on the red point on the window, it closes the window.

  The problem has been resolved. It happened because of the QTTadBar (who knew) after that deleting a registry value menu bar works very well.
  If anyone has this problem navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser registry key and delete the ITBar7Layout value

  I have Windows 7 (x 64). In windows Explorer, the menu bar will not go if I press ALT. Also, I went into the menu "Organize" and went to "provision". Display of the menu bar has been disabled.   So I guess the menu bar also refused to go when you were in safe mode.  If so, it narrows at least it down to a Windows problem.  If the system is free of any software malicious then the fault lies with Windows being corrupt.

  If SFC has reported no problems then only clean boot procedures could narrow things down to the component of Windows 7 that is the cause of the problem.

  You may find that the boot is too tedious & skip to what is called an in Place Upgrade or repair installation using your installation DVD. It's better than a reinstall full as it leaves your applications & intact user files.

• Photoshop crashes randomly when drawing, using shortcut keys, etc.

  Occasionally, about once every 45 seconds to 3 minutes, Photoshop is going to block/freeze for 10-90 seconds each time I try to draw a line using the Brush tool or use a hotkey with the Brush tool.   I tried to reinstall PS, turning market/GPU-support setting for basic/advanced/etc., removal of preferences, light / features of tablet of the window, turn on/off CL, but none of this solves the problem. Don't know what else to try. As it is, I can't use PS for drawing, either.

  Yes, Firefox 4/5 is a bit different on Windows XP that orange Firefox on Vista and Win7, the button is not displayed and the MenuBar on installations of Windows XP. Simply right click on the bar of Manu and turn off Bar Menu item on the shortcut menu.

  There are also slight variations on the Mac and Linux versions, too.

  You can create such a shortcut.  Just create it in normal conditions & put it in the properties

Sound and other related Fn keys work good weather or not the media player is the front window or not. The game, fast forward and rewind keys work fine with another media player.
