Reg. decimal alignment in selected columns in a Table

Hi all

Can someone help me to align the cells in the selected column of the table in decimal?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Rani Sathya M

Hello

As Ariel wrote, in the case of table you need not type "tabs" within cells to achieve a goal.

Here is an example of the last column setting

var
     mCols = app.activeDocument.textFrames[0].tables[0].columns[-1],
     mTarget = mCols.cells.everyItem().texts.everyItem().getElements(),
     len = mTarget.length;
while (len-->0)
          mTarget[len].tabStops.add({
                    alignment: TabStopAlignment.CHARACTER_ALIGN,
                    alignmentCharacter: ".",
                    position: mCols.width - 10
                    });

Notice: it should work in a simple doc for example (1 textFrame and 1 table)

    Hello

    Will change your tabular presentation of the attributes of the column where you want to apply this style.
    Then add to the attributes of the element

    style=text-align:right

    The bottom line is that * must be qualified (with a table name or alias) when the SELECT clause includes anything else besides *.

  • Align the selection on the artboard - Photoshop

    Computing: New Mac Pro running the Adobe CC update

    Someone knows a problem with alignment to music while using Photoshop work plans? I have an item on a work plan that I'm trying to focus vertical to a selection, but no matter what I'm doing, it aligns vertical center to the artboard, as if it ignores the selection.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Spencer

    I just found this thread:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/2022217

    Workaround is fine for now, at least I can align to selection, but it's far from ideal.

    Also, when I work within a work plan and start making a new selection, it would be nice if the selection would be contained to the artboard. At that time, it performs a selection on top of everything, but that does not help me a lot if I'm working within the boundaries of the artboard.

    Thanks for a quick reply,

  • Select columns when downloading interactive reports

    Hello
    We have a requirement defined by Oracle Corporate Security Architecture Review Board to prevent some columns to display when downloading interactive reports in csv format. They should appear on the report, but not on the csv output.

    I vaguely remember it was possible when interactive reports have been made public, but I can't find a way to do so at the ApEx 4.1? When I go to the print attributes > columns in the report, I can see the list of columns, and they all get to see the report = Yes, but there is no way to make it no. it seems that all the selected columns to display in the interactive report are automatically included in the download.

    Our applications are hosted on apex.oraclecorp.com, I can provide more details if necessary.

    Please inform if there is a way to exclude the columns during the download.

    Kind regards

    Change the definition of column you want in the CSV file and add a conditional view:

    Condition of Type: Ask! = Expression 1
    Expression 1: CSV

    It is not possible in data pum export only selective table columns. However you can try next.

    (1) create table export_selective as select c1, c2 from the source table; (you can create it in the source db)

    (2) expdp export_selective table

    (3) export_selective impdp in the target table

  • Alignment of columns of a table using the control variable

    Hi I'm new to Javascript, using only Applescript before.

    I use Indesign 5.5 on Mac and I learn Javascript by adapting old Applescripts I have used for years.

    So, with an existing table, one of the things I want to do is to put alignments in the columns by using a variable. Here's what I've tried so far:

    function setColumnWidthsAndAlignments()
    {
        var myWidths=[29, 23, 13, 13, 13, 13];
        var myAlignments=["leftAlign","leftAlign","centerAlign","centerAlign","rightAlign","rightAlign"];
        var numberOfColumns=myTable.columns.count();
        for (c=0;c<numberOfColumns;c++)
        {
            myTable.columns[c].width=myWidths[c];
            myTable.columns[c].cells.everyItem().texts.everyItem().justification=Justification.myAlignments[c];
        }
    }

    but I get an error

    -Object does not support the property or method 'myAlignments '.

    If I throw the myAlignments variable and just put for example leftAlign, it works, then maybe I'm not declares the variable correctly?

    I know that I could add a few extra paragraph styles and cell styles and style of the table like that, but I it would be a good learning exercise (more of which I want to limit the number of paragraph in document styles - there enough already!)

    If anyone is really interested, I would like to place the script here and would like to really comment on how the structure could be improved or optimized or simply to tell me if I'm heading in the right direction.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Malcolm

    Hi Jeff,

    Design view is not 100% reliable.  Using Live View or preview in the browser to check your layout behaves.

    If not, copy & paste the full HTML CSS integration & code of your test page into a forum post using web > (insert) syntax highlighting > ordinary.

  • Grant select privilege on the table column

    Hello
    I think that it is not possible to give the right to select level of column in a table.

    by example-grant select (col1, col2) on table1 to User1;

    Hi Frank,.
    Thanks for the reply. Nothing bad to see.

    Then use a notice. It is simpler and more robust.

    As that I knew WHAT EVP is used for the column data hide with a null value or other values. do not hide the entire column of the selection operation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Maksing the column with a null value or another value is hide the column.
    Do what you should always do whenever you have a question. Post some sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results desired from these data. In this case, after an authorized user (that is, a user with all privileges) must get results and results that a user with lesser forge privileges.

    A view (or a copy of the table, as a materialized view) is the only way I know to prevent users to know that there is a column (for example) called credit_card_num.
    Use row-level security, you can return NULL when users not allowed to reference credit_card_num, or you can trigger an error if they try to refer to this column.

  • Select cursor for update: multiple columns of different tables

    Hello

    I have two tables test1 and test2. I want to udpate the column (DEPT_DSCR) from the TEST1 and TEST2 using select for update and current tables of the... with the cursor.

    I have a code drafted as follows:
    DECLARE
    v_mydept1 TEST1. TYPE % DEPT_CD;
    v_mydept2 TEST2. TYPE % DEPT_CD;
    CURSOR C1 IS SELECT TEST1. DEPT_CD, TEST2. DEPT_CD OF TEST1, TEST2 WHERE TEST1. DEPT_CD = TEST2. DEPT_CD AND TEST1. DEPT_CD IS 'AA' FOR THE UPDATE OF TEST1. DEPT_DSCR, TEST2. DEPT_DSCR;
    BEGIN
    OPEN C1;
    LOOP
    FETCH C1 INTO v_mydept1, v_mydept2;
    WHEN EXIT C1% NOTFOUND;
    UPDATE TEST1 SET DEPT_DSCR IS "PLSQL1" WHERE CURRENT OF C1;.
    SETTING A DAY TEST2 SET DEPT_DSCR = 'PLSQL2' WHERE CURRENT OF C1.
    END LOOP;
    COMMIT;
    END;

    The code above when it is run, declares that it runs successfully. But it does not update the columns you want [DEPT_DSCR].

    It works only when we want to update one or more columns of the same table... i. e by providing these columns after ' to UPDATE THE.
    I don't know what exactly is the problem when you want to update several columns of different tables.

    Can someone help me on this?
