  • Why the .cod files change download to download?

    I do some tests on my BlackBerry (Bold 9700) of security and when I use JavaLoader.exe to download the .cod files I noticed that some of them will be different from download to download.

    For example if I do the following:

    > JavaLoader.exe save Sudoku_v46_480x360

    > cp Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod.1

    > JavaLoader.exe save Sudoku_v46_480x360

    > diff Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod.1

    The files will be different.  I compared the in a hex editor and the differences are small (single-byte) and coherent (0x07 in 0x77) in 10 places in the file.  They seem to be divided as wel.

    -What is JavaLoader.exe done or there at - it something on the device itself that constantly updates the application?

    Thanks for any idea!

    Never mind, just found out why this is happening.  Some of the .cod files (if there is more than 64 k I think) will decompose in a zip format and zip headers may be slightly different (last modified time may change) then the global .cod file will be binary different.

    Hello

    Generated by the JDE COD files can be extracted with WINRAR. I did and found 5 different files of COD suffixed as "-1.cod" to "-4.cod". This is how to get the list

    . COD

    -1.cod

    -2.cod

    -3.cod

    -4.cod

    I extract the first file and loaded on the device. He gave me a few missing module error. And their module is - 1.cod. If all of the .cod files are interrelated and represents the different module. But I do not know which file represents the module in which and how the module is created during execution.

  • Download the Jad file and cod

    I discovered that an OTA installation requires a file of cod and jad. Now if I want to download these two files on my website /data/test.jad and/data/test.cod, how can I download the jad on my device so that it installs OTA?

    thanx

    You can use Web browser - open the JAD file url in the browser and the appliance will provide a view with a button to install it on the device.

    Make sure that you have configured on your server mime types, as described in this article:

  • How to download the app and extract the brother .cod files that it contained by program

    Hello

    I want to download and install a new version of my application programmatically.  I read the messages where all the .cod files application including .sibling .cod files are downloaded separately.  Is it possible to simply download the application file, for example Main.cod and extract all the brother .cod files contained (hand - 1.cod, hand - 2.cod)?

    Thank you

    Not sure that understand this issue.  Given that you have already unpacked all the brothers and sisters, then you know how at the server level and can provide information, your application can query.  Your application can read the jad file, or as the naming convention is well known, your application could try to get cod files with a suffix growing until it breaks.  Is that what you were asking?

  • Choose 'Download only changed files' and always Muse download EVERYTHING

    I have a fairly extensive site. Had to change a price in the text. Choose "download only modified files. And Muse download everything. Every bit of text, page, pdf format, jpg, svg. EVERYTHING. And always, it takes to download. I have download error all the time. My God what a waste of time.

    Why Muse have this strange behavior? Why is that it ignores the "only changed files?

    Frustrated regards Chris

    Moving that a guide can support a situation we should special case, but today it is interpreted as a change to the page causing Muse to regenerate the .html, .css and the images on the page. Muse then checks the fingerprints for files generated against the fingerprints for the same files on the server. If they differ, the new files will be downloaded.

    If the previous attempt to download complete successfully and save the .muse file, the next time the .muse file opens and a minor modification is made only the files associated with the modification will be generated and only really different files on the server are downloaded.

    If an error occurs Mid-upload, Muse returns to the re-generation and re - download everything, until a successful upload occurs.

    As mac_heibu says, Muse will regenerate all the files any time that muse has been updated since the previous download, due to changes in the generated code, image compression, file naming, etc.. It will then download only the files that are different from those previously downloaded.

    Looks like you're convinced that none of the foregoing explains behavior you see. It would be useful to be able to work with a copy of your .muse file to see if we can reproduce the generation of excessive file or download. Please send us the .muse file at [email protected] as well as a link to this topic for the context. If the file is larger than 20 MB, you'll need to use a service such as Adobe send & Track, Dropbox, creative cloud, WeTransfer, etc. file sharing. Thank you.

  • Multiple context mode, how do I download packet capture file

    Hi guys,.

    Is there a way to download the capture of packets from a specific context? I know I used to use https:///Admin/capture/ to download if it's just a context.

    The ASA uses mgmt 0/0 for the management and it is connected to a separate network of OOB. Only this network has TFTP servers to download the capture file. The context in question is in transparent mode. Its IP address doesn't have access to a TFTP server.

    Thank you!

  • Remote hp AIO cannot retrieve or download the scanned file

    I scanned with my Ipad a big file as a result of more than 35 MB.

    I can't get the digital file download does not work (I tried with Google Drive and Dropbox). I don't know if the problem is wireless, the ipad or the software.

    I thought that I ignore this problem and just connect my Ipad to my Windows 7 desktop computer and download the file directly. Couldn't be more reasonable.

    But when I connect the Ipad files scanned locally on AIO HP Remote does not show up on Itunes.

    My files are caught in the trap in the ipad. Any help please?

    Thank you

    Hi and thanks for your response.

    Yes, what you hear is correct.

    I looked at other options you say (not for rescan in small pieces, however, is too long and too busy). I continued to try. Finally, at one point I had a suspicion on the automatic locking of the Ipad since I don't have any message of error on the HP software.

    So I disabled the lock and try again. It worked!

    Maybe HP could think to disable automatic locking when downloading a large file. If it does not already exist, as they might consider a way to download locally since the Ipad to another device via a cable ([Yes, they still exist:-]!).

    Thank you

  • Download the iso files tool part?

    I have a laptop dv7 640 gig 2 years old and I got the imminent message "hard drive failure. So, I backed up the hard drive (8 DVDs) and make the recovery discs (6 DVD). I bought a new Seagate 500 gigs HDD and installed. I then started the recovery process.

    Then, I got a message that says that my new hard drive is smaller than the original and will not proceed. I tried installs four different without success, to get a blank screen with the exception of the logo hp on the center of the screen and a Press esc to menu.

    I read the advice to try downloading the iso file through dvd or usb. My question is: the directions speak using the w7 dvd/usb download tool. This part of tool of downloading the files? How do I get it on my first computer? I know it's probably easy, but it would be nice for me to get that clarified before proceeding to downloads.

    THX.

    Hello

    As the error that you are experiencing is simply due to the fact that recovery disks will not properly install on a disk smaller than that they were created on, I just burn the ISO correct on a blank DVD and use it to run the installation - there is no need to create a bootable USB key, unless you have a problem with the optical drive of your laptop.

    Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

    An example of a COA label can be seen here.

    You can create an installation disk yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( this must be the version exact same origin supplied with your laptop ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a well respected source, however there are only limited versions available.

    Windows 7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit

    Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

  • Why multiple COD files?

    Hello world

    I have compiled a little test app for WebWorks 7.0 and I noticed that there are 6 COD and a JAD file in the OTAInstall. Why are there so many COD file? Should what files I try to install on my device 9900 7.1?

    Kind regards

    Alon

    Hello Alon,

    This has to do with the maximum file size of COD:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/testing-and-deployment/the-maximum-size-of-a-BlackBerry-smart...

    Specifically, one COD file is limited to 64 KB of source code and 64 k of resources; These two pools of space cannot be shared (i.e. space unused resources not be used as the source code.)

    When one of these limits are exceeded, a new COD file is created to contain the content remaining, to a maximum of 127 files brother COD.

    If you look at the standard install COD file, you can actually open this COD file with an editor of the archive (WinRAR, WinZip, etc.) and you will actually find the same files from brother COD contained in the larger cod file. In reality, this large COD file is actually just a renamed ZIP file containing all the COD files.

    So, why do this?

    Well, when the biggest (archive) is installed via USB, Desktop Manager and command line tools know to provide each COD file in the sequence of the archive, and each is installed correctly.

    However, when installing OTA, while some web servers know how to make this communication, often they do not, and if the full (archive) COD is attempted to be installed OTA, it will fail. Even in cases where the server is smart enough to perform this communication, he sends actually archive ENTIRE for each sibling. Meaning:

    • Brother of queries Device #1.
    • The server sends archive entire and device extracts / installs sibling #1.
    • Device queries brother #2.
    • The server sends archive entire and device extracts / installs sibling #2.
    • etc.

    You can see that, to a very large archive with cod of brother a lot, this can cause a LOT of unnecessary traffic. Therefore, if you are hosting OTA, the recommendation is to host the ALX file and all brother COD files that are located in the OTAInstall folder.

    Alternatively, you can DECOMPRESS the ARCHIVE COD and use these cod of brother (as well as the ALX file) as well, but you may NOT host the whole cod of online ARCHIVE.

    All that being said, if you use JavaLoader to deploy, you can actually invoke the command on the JAD file to perform the installation:

    JavaLoader u install myapp.jad

    Similar to OTA, JAD file operation is just a descriptor of all the COD files required for the application text and JavaLoader can use this information to install each file as required.

    There is some information up there, so please let me know if something makes no sense.

  • The OTA installation and large. COD files

    Hi, I'm new to the Blackberry development. I am developing a small image editing app for Blackberry and planning to distribute them using my site (OTA). The problem is that my .cod file size is about 500 KB. I've searched the forums and some suggested to break large cod in several smaller files of the Cod. But exactly how do I do this? Thank you

    All you need to do is open the COD file in a program like WinZip archive and extract the files.  It's just a zip of the rest of your COD files.  Note that the cod inside firstsibling file will have the same name as the parent COD file, so make sure that extract you it in a different directory.  If you use the BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse, all you need to do is deploy the files in the directory JAD.

    You can read a bit more info on that here: the limit file size of wireless downloads

  • Jad file after update does cod file

    I am still unable to get the automatic function to generate the jad to work as once... but, I modified the jad to hand and the app seems to be download correctly, both for the simulators and devices.

    I removed the SHA1 attributes and entered the sizes of cod by hand, according to the amounts shown in winzip, when I extracted the COD files on the master file of the Cod.

  • .cod file is not proceed with the installation correctly (programmatically)

    Hi BbExperts,

    I took a .cod as a resource file in my application and wants to install this .cod programmatically.

    My .cod file size is 429266 bytes, which is why I couldn't install it directly coz of size so I used the OTA (brothers and sisters of the main .cod) file in a table and install them one by one, by using CodeModuleManager.

    I post here my sample application:

    String [] codArr = {"" / MainApp.cod "," / MainApp - 1.cod ', ' / MainApp - 2.cod "," / MainApp - 3.cod "," / MainApp - 4.cod "," / MainApp - 5.cod ""};

    for (inti = 0; i)< codarr.length;="" i++)="">

    try {

    byte [] cod is IOUtilities.streamToBytes (getClass ().getResourceAsStream(codArr[i]));.

    create new module

    int newHandle = CodeModuleManager.createNewModule (cod.length, cod, cod.length);

    install the module

       if (newHandle! = 0) {

    int savecode = CodeModuleManager.saveNewModule (newHandle, true);

    if (savecode is CodeModuleManager.CMM_OK_MODULE_OVERWRITTEN)

    System.out.println ("operation completed successfully");

    }catch(IOException e) {}

    e.printStackTrace ();

    }

    It is installed but not able to run it.

    Is this approach is fair, or should I try another approach.

    Guidance in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance...

    try to install the last cod first
