  Hello

  Yes, if you use the column change attributes report, in the section "links" column you can assign values to some articles.

  But if you only need to apply, you should probably use URLS like target and a javascript:doSubmit('REQUEST');.

• Creation of license with VLM usage report

  is there an easy way to create a license using the VLM usage report? We have a bunch of licenses based on the name used by several departments, but the actual allocation of the PFR may vary during the year.

  What I would like to have is a report that shows me how many licenses have been allocated to which departments over the past year, as a basis for licensing cost accounting.

  I know that all check ins / outs are stored in an ASCII file based, but I'd be really grateful not to have to write a parser or similar.

  I think that this little tool can help you.  Please be aware that the excel macro that is used here is scheduled for Excel 2007 and the format of language must be English (United States) to work properly.

• Report - create virtual machine usage reports

  Please forgive me. I am very new to Foglight and this might be a ridiculously simple question, but I hope someone here can help me.

  I have installed the plugin VMWare with Foglight.  My superiors are wanting me to run a report that will get an overview of 6 months several servers (5 specific VM) usage of resources (CPU, memory, and disk i/o are the main resources, they want on, but other measures as network can be useful as well).

  I found a report named "Machines use virtual - Detail" which seems promising, however, when I try to run a report, she asks a "service". How can I enter in the name of the virtual machine I want information on? Make a query or a database search? By the way, I tried the data and drilled down to the name of the virtual machine, but it was not selectable.

  Please forgive my ignorance, and I'd appreciate any help that can be offered.

  The report takes a "service" as input, which is a way to group objects (for example, virtual machines) in Foglight.

  1 - Start by going to the Services-> Service Builder.

  2 - Click on "Add new category" and fill in the fields.

  3 - Click on the Add button next to your name of the category which has been created.

  Select 'Add components to this service' then 'add a specific component '.

  4. Select VMware in the drop-down list, filter on 'Name containing' as appropriate.

  Search for objects of type 'VMWVirtualMachine' and select the most appropriate, then "add components" when finished.

  You should be able to go back to the report, use this Service (category) and stock.

  I currently work on my desktop control on some performance issues and came to CSRSS. EXE which is supposed to be a process that is legitimate, but also known to be a malware. But when I check on command prompt: tasklist reports csrss.exe using 5 k of memory, but when I run: status running tasklist/v/fi "eq" it signals using 11 540 K mem. its use?
  Any ideas as to why his reports differently? Help, please.

  I have an application that includes photos of employees. I want to display a link to the column in a report of the employee who opens a page to manage the photos of a given employee. Worked well when using an image of compatible icon for all employees.

  But I want to do is have two images of icons. If a photo already exists. Another case a photo has not yet been added.

  I have included a select with the following CASE statement in the Source of my region.

  That's because the behavior of standard report is to strip the HTML code of column values used in the expressions of HTML, links in the column and the report when the data is exported as CSV files. This is controlled by the attribute of HTML report of band, which by default is set to Yes. Change this setting to No. , and link images to be displayed.

  A solution with a better separation of concerns that are compatible with the Strip HTML and display text default settings is:

  1. Select only the image name in the query [ nvl2(p.person_id, 'photo', 'nophoto') photo is simpler than the previous CASE expression] and make this hidden column
  2. Add a link in the column to the State ('add column link' in the bar of tasks )
  3. Set the property of the new column binding Expression in HTML to
  4. Specify the column link attributes as required

  Last suggestion would be to display thumbnails of the photos used here where they exist rather than an arbitrary generic image...

  You can use the onchage event to create your dynamic action. Make sure that there is a hidden page element (value not protected). From your link to classic report column, set the value of the page element hidden by using the JavaScript API $s () that will trigger the dynamic action of the onchange event.

• Need help incorporating a little a Hyper link in report based on dynamic SQL

  I try to have a column in my report to link to a document on my network, when you click on the column in the report. I have a table that contains a row for each document that I want to link to. The URL of the document is stored in a column named NDDL. DOC_LINK. I would like the text "Linked" to appear as a value in the column of the report and to be a hyper link to the document.
  
  The report is a 'classic' function PLSQL retune an unfavourable SQL. I'm on Apex version 4.2.1.00.08
  
  I am struggling with the "' stuff and may not work. stuck to the line in question, but I can't see it properly, so I hope someone can help out.

  You've got several problems if I remember right. First of all, your PL/SQL is not work properly. Then, he has not shown what you expected to see. • Not able to see the contents of the BLOB download link in report object

  I have a report on a table, the columns of this table is of type blob.
  
  In the report of the blob column is showing.

  I wanted a link by which we will be able to d/l the blob file.
  When I check the column to blob column attributes, I don't see "Content BLOB" download under number/Date Format link.

• EUL5_QPP_STATS the best for historical usage report?

  We've had our system discoverer around since a few years now and I need to know what reports are always used. Is the 'best' way to do lean on the EUL5_QPP_STATS table? I noticed that this table does not seem to be written at 100% of the time that someone pulls a report. For example; I was watching the performance of the user and asked them to open a few reports over several days. But the Act of their opening a report has not always shown in EUL5_QPP_STATS. I read somewhere that this table is not necessarily get written right now, so I know not to give results in real time.
  
  Anyway, my basic question is should I use EUL5_QPP_STATS for my research of active reports, or y at - it a better method?

  The report will record the EUL5 statistics table only when the report is closed. In order to check on the table when the user opens and closes the report.

  There was also some bugs in older versions of discoverer EUL stats-related, so if you are using the latest version of discoverer (or alteast 10.1.2.3 or higher)
  You can use the stats of EUL5 for your research.

  If LINK_TO_PART is a valid url so that you can change the PART_NUM column in your report. Go to the column binding attributes and set the following parameters:

  Text link: #PART_NUM #.
  Target: URL
  URL: #LINK_TO_PART #.

  Now, it shows that you generate 4 trees. One for each record, because there is no clause "begins by" specified. And then the tree is constructed using the clause "previous name > name", hence this exit.
