  I had installed Illustrator and Photoshop CS2 (Education versions, if that makes a difference) on my desk somewhere about 6 years ago. My office is finally died on me, so I never had the possibility to uninstall a program. Now, during reinstallation on my Dell laptop (which works great) I can't save the program. After researching I know now there is a 'glitches' and there are downloads on the Adobe site, but I'm confused. I have the disks. They were purchased in a store, do not illegally downloaded. My record shows that I have 30 days to register or Illustrator / Photoshop CS2 can not be used.

  My questions:

  -I should ignore the discs entirely (uninstall the laptop) and download the link on Adobe (https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2_downloads) in place?

  -This internet downloading programs will expire and cause problems with ongoing projects?

  -How will they know that I actually paid for Adobe products? Do I have to enter my serial number or customer ID anywhere?

  StephanieLB please download new installers and use serial numbers also available on the download page you referenced.  Installers are volume license installers that don't require activation.  You will need to use the serial number on this page, instead of the serial number that was purchased, in order to allow the installation programs install successfully.  You can find more details at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1195856.

  I just downloaded and installed a version of Photoshop CS2 system that doesn't require activation on a Windows 7 system. It has already been validated and registered. Everything works fine. Unfortunately, whenever I start photoshop it always opens the registration window no matter how I answer, "register later", "do not save", propose another recording attempt, or simply close the window. It's a very boring horse I want to disable.

  I was the cause of the breakdowns and have solved the problem; but have not quite yet fully understood the nature of the underlying cause.  I don't know that it had something to do with a combination of permissions and compatibility modes. In any case, I ran the registration process again in a process of trial and error combinations and was finally able to launch Photoshop without the registration window which pops up again. I am being harassed is more when I start the program and I am now it works normally on Windows 7. I intend to run a little more testing to see if I can resolve the issue a little more. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

  On further testing, I decided that if I run the program in compatibility mode earlier it then allow me to properly register the program. I can then return the program for Windows 7 compatibility mode for normal use.

  After having recently upgraded CPU, memory and graphics of my computer, it took singularly reinstall my Adobe Photoshop (Inc. Is there another way to peacefully resolve this conflict? or you do it's ugly and insist I buy another product of Adobe updated you will always continue to support (for the moment)?   You can continue to use CS2 without additional cost. It takes just a few steps to remove activation version and replace it with the version without activation.

  Uninstall your CS2.

  Error: Unavailable activation server | CS2, Acrobat 7, pass a hearing 3

  Download the version without CS2 activation from the link above. That goes for the owners of CS and CS2.

  Install, then enter the new serial number without activation provided at this link. Your existing CS2 serial number no longer works.

Activation complete.   You won't be able to re - install using the discs and the number of series that you used initially, but we have a solution.

  The activation for more server CS2 is no longer in service. For this reason, we did a version of these titles of software available that doesn't require activation.   I have a Satellite M40X-183. I tried to install Photoshop CS2 and it installs everything but the help files and I wait for hours complete the installation, but it is not. Before it took me a long time to set up but once I updated my toshiba software he showed some changes and installed more quickly but still stuck using the part files. It seems to install but it does not actually install anything this either fight the help files and I install Photoshop CS2 on my desktop from the cd, it works very well.

  It's really not easy to say what can be the problem. You will be very happy if someone has exactly the same problem and can give you some explanations. I have installed and tested a lot of different software on my Tecra and up to now, everything works fine.

  Problem is that Toshiba is not responsible for the non-Toshiba software and if no one can help you try to contact Adobe support.

  Sorry, but I don't see any other solution.

• Photoshop CS2 began to have questions about the other windows.

  About 2 months ago, I started to notice that Photoshop CS2 has started to have problems with me open or do it before all other windows, such as Explorer or Chrome for example. This is what my PS normally looks like:

  and if I try to bring another program, it will act as if I clicked on the start bar and the PS is more picked up (you have to click the program again to interact with him)

  Then when I go to color/clear/do almost anything on the Web, my tools will vanish like this:

  and reappear when I click on the gray background of the PS window. They may not be disabled.

  Sometimes, and I don't have a screenshot because I can't reproduce right now, the new program (Chrome, Explorer, etc.) is displayed, but the windows tools will remain.

  I dealt with it for a while, but I would like to first of all streaming my art and I won't continue to happen. I like to use CS2, so please don't recommend just other programs unless it is just absolutely not repairable.

  I ran CS2 on this computer since September of the year last with zero problems, so I don't know why it started

  I'm unable to install my copy of Photoshop CS2 on my computer recently updated (material only). I followed the procedures and downloaded the software after having previously removed the version installed. After I enter my serial number, when you are prompted, I get the response "is not a valid serial number. Please go back and re enter your serial number "which I did and it comes back with the same message." My serial number is however worth a version 5.5 upgrade serial number. Can anyone help with what I then do to solve this problem?
