  You can only do it in 1 or 2 years after purchase.  If you don't have that you received a serial number mac.

  Hello!  Adobe Chat Help Desk directed me here to get help to reinstall Acrobat 8 Standard on a new PC with Windows 10.

  Whenever I tried to install it, after entering the serial number string, I kept getting the error messages like "...". cannot locate or not valid serial number (it is not disabled).

  First Acrobat 8 standard is no longer available because it is quite a stale version.

  Second even if you get the download link for somewhere you wouldn't be able to use it with the latest version 10 of Windows because it is not a compatible version.

  Only Acrobat DC and XI are tried and tested versions with Windows 10.

  My hard drive crashed and I am trying to reinstall Acrobat Pro XI.  The program ask the serial number that I registered.  But the drop down menu options which the program, I have the serial number for any of them is XI Acrobat Pro for Windows.  What are my options.  It won't take the serial number for any of them.  Help?

  It seems that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI was an upgrade of one of the Acrobat versions available in the drop-down list.

  You must choose the exact version of Acrobat installed before Adobe Acrobat Pro XI & returns the key of this previous version in order to proceed with the installation.

  You can find the key of your earlier version of Acrobat by using this link to quickly find your serial number.

  Windows 7? So don't waste your minutes of life of trial and error with an Acrobat 8 - combination of Windows 7.

  If you want to use Win 7 you will need the current version of Acrobat (XI). 'X' will work, but it is no longer sold by Adobe.

  Hi all, looking for a little guidance on the subject of reinstall Acrobat on a new PC.

  I bought Acrobat V10 for my son about 2 years ago from x for its Windows XP 32 bit PC which is now replaced by a Win8 64 bit PC. Can I just download the appropriate version and re-register with my existing serial number, or do I make me expunge the record/transfer of the existing facility?

  'My account' on Adobe store does not seem to present various options for the download (just 0.5 GB one file), no one knows if the download contains versions 32 and 64-bit?
