  I have problems with digital imaging.  Never been wrong before, so I'm puzzled!  Recently added pix from CD to digital photo Image file picked up but did not display the photos on the page of digital image library - they come just under the icon standard w/o a view of the pix.  I tried to delete these files where the pix would not come to the top of the digital image.  Digital image would not remove them.  I deleted the pix of the computer files.  Digital image still would not remove the files in the library. I went into the Control Panel, I removed & reinstalled the Digital Image, but all files keep coming back.  Digital Imaging tells me I have 4000 photos stored there!  If I do, where are they?  I can't find them!   Is there something else I can do?

  The MS Digital Image Library maintains a proprietary database
  named Pictures.pd3 who is not deleted when the program is
  uninstalled/reinstalled.

  If you rename Pictures.pd3 to Pictures.OLD... the next time you
  Open the library, it will be because it was the first opening.

  Windows XP... the Pictures.pd3 database file is located at:

  C:\Documents and Settings\.
  Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\
  POD\Pictures.Pd3

  If you can't find the file, open a file and
  Reach... Tools / Folder Options / View tab on...
  Tick... Display the hidden files and folders / apply / OK.

  Are patches of red and blue color?

  If so, you probably have warnings of cutting of light/shadow enabled. Press J to hide them.

  You can also activate their power by clicking on the arrows up left and right of the histogram.

  Salient facts cut medium red, medium blue clipped shadows.

  I just started a subscription for the Pack of photographers, when I opened the PS from LR to edit an image, the thumbnail appears in the sidebar, but the area of the image is white, I'm sure this is a rookie mistake stupid, but I can't for the life of me see what I did wrong.

  With 256 VRAM, you won't be 3D but with the right drivers, you should be able to use the features of PS that don't require 512VRAM and GPU support.  You should be able to see and edit images.

• Deactivation on the Disk Image Restore or reinstall Windows?

  PS CS5 is on my laptop. I need to reinstall Win7 or possibly install Win8.

  • I can first try to restore a disk image.
    • PS CS5 can be installed on the disk image, I do not remember for some.
    • PS CS5 perhaps cannot be installed on the disk image.
  • I can do a clean win7 install if the disk image is not what I want.
  • I can do a clean install of win 8.

  The question... Do I have to turn off before that or not?

  1. If I disable the disk image already has PS CS5 installed, and I am concerned about the problems.
  2. If I turned off and the disk image doesn't have a PS CS5 installed or if I do a clean install, so I am concerned about the problems.

  What is the best - way to go to get through these hassle of deactivation?

  I would recommend not to disable.  If it turns out that you can not activate your version restored due to current activation you can disable is more, you can be helped by technical support.

  I had a problem by disabling flash pro that prevented me to activate an installation on a new computer and technology (via chat) quickly understood the question and did something that allowed me to activate without requiring deactivation of a previous installation.

• Lost my favorites in the sidebar has only 3 icons with (untitled), impossible to restore the bookmarks and cannot add bookmark. Tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox: no change.

  Firefox crashed, and a message appeared on the Internet (I couldn't understand it, and I'm not able to remember). The problem seems serious, first of all, I scanned my registry with Registry Mechanic, and then I checked the status of my drive with Performance Toolkit, which has identified a low level and offered to clean the computer. I agree with you. And when I tried to reopen Firefox I discovered that the 3 icons in the sidebar with (untitled), that the bookmarks were gone and I could not restore, nor add anything.

  This may be a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

• How to reinstall the recovery Windows 7 image?

  The day I bought the laptop, I installed UBUNTU on it and by mistake I used the entire disk for UBUNTU. And I lost the entire windows partition and I didn't even create a backup disk.

  Is there a way I can recover my windows. I have the windows 7 CD key written on the bottom on the laptop. Can I install using a few windows 7 CD and use my CD key and still use it?

  N ° after installing Linux or any other OS version clean there is no way to install the original Toshiba recovery image.

  Unfortunately, this is not possible. This key belongs to the recovery image you have with your laptop and it cannot be used with another version of Win7.

  If you have original Toshiba recovery image and use the laptop with the settings you need to order the new recovery disc.

  I tried to open this option in the control panel and as described above

  Click on the Start button and type in the browser box, either click on the suggestions and restore default gadgets installed with windows link or enter.

  Yes, microsoft has dropped to the side bar but left :) weird programs files list.

  I've been manually uploading photos from iphone 5 s for my Airbook.  More recently, on July 12, because pictures taken on my phone appear on my Mac until this date.  Now, when I connect via USB, my iphone 5s does not appear in the sidebar of Photos.

  Just today, iTunes asked if I want to go to iOS 9.3.4.  I did not take it.

  Also, my iPhone syncs with iTunes and no appears in the sidebar of iTunes.

  Could you hid it. If you see the topic "Import" in the side bar move your mouse about the area of the arrow in the image below, it should then reveal the option 'display '.

  

• I can't delete some old navigation history entries in the sidebar.

  I can remove the new websites from history today and they reappear. The Web sites do not appear in the list right in the sidebar of history history and they appear in the sidebar when the value "by most visited' and ' last visited'. They do not appear if the display is set on something else. They are all old and some pages no longer exist. If deleted or 'forget' that they disappear, and then reappear when the sidebar is closed and reopened, sometimes without closing.

  If you want to do a complete clear of your story that I definitely recommend looking into a program called CCleaner it is secure and free! I use CCleaner to clear my history for Firefox personally.

• How to decrease the width of the sidebar bookmarks?

  I wish that the bookmarks sidebar to be narrower than allowed default range for the width.

  I have tried many tips, without success. I tried to create something like userChrome.css with the recommended snippet inside, but it did not work. Others have been recommend Stylish add on, but I don't know what to do with it. The only tool that worked was ChromEdit Plus add on. But after that I reinstalled my ystem sWindows Sunday, this extension does not seem to work.

  OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  Firefox version: 26

  ChromEdit Plus has the correct code to do anything, the only extension does nothing! And that a specific code is exactly the same that you would use in a manually created the userChrome.css file. The only real difference is that the CEP automatically creates the userChrome.css file (and userContent, css file), in the /chrome/ folder that does not exist until the user or CEP creates this folder.

  That said, the width of the sidebar should be the same as the last time that Firefox was closed. IOW, the user's game is the size (width) of the sidebar they prefer, they close Firefox after using it, and when you open Firefox, the next time that the width of the sidebar should be the same when we close them latest Firefox. If this isn't the same thing, the localstore.rdf could be slightly corrupted, or 'something' is to play with the localstore.rdf by changing preferences.

  Bookmarks appear more in a sidebar in the browser. When this has happened in the past I have manged to view by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + B but its does not display these this time

  After reading through other questions of assistance, solved my problem. First of all, restore the MenuBar (hidden under the options menu), and then click Display sidebar. Voila! Good as new.

  I used to be able to open the bookmarks bar by clicking the Favorites icon on my navigation bar.
  Now when I click the bookmarks icon in the navigation bar, it opens the drop-down list bookmarks.
  I realize, you can open the bookmarks with ctrl-B bar, but I'd love to be able to open the sidebar with a left click.

  If you have not created the disc clean recovery or recovery USB flash stick memory such as mentioned in the user manual, you must order such environment.
