  I had sound problems with my Aspire V3 (571 G). I heard a noise dry while listening to music and watching videos. It was really boring. I thought it was a problem with the Dolby Home Theater v4, so I went to the control panel > uninstall a program > cinema dolby Home > repair. It does not solve the problem, so I went to C:\ and copied the 'Dolby PCEE4' folder, then I uninstalled the thought of Dolby Home Theater v4 that I will reinstall it by putting the folder to the directory. While it has been uninstalled, I discovered that the problem was not the home Dolby cinema, instead, it was a kind of audio enhancement, so I disabled it by clicking on Audio > manage audio devices > Speakers > properties > improvements and I ticked the box: "turn off all sound effects. The sound is fine, it does not sound dry but now I can't reinstall Dolby Home Theater v4. I put the 'Dolby PCEE4' folder to the C:\ directory and it did not work. I opened the case and found a command called 'install' so I ran the command, but it created only 15000 + (3,79 GB) files in the folder and the home theater Dolby has not yet been installed.   I finally got to work by reinstalling some drivers, but I'll be waiting to hear back from the owners to see if they have any questions again. If so, I will try this solution. Thank you.

  I was wondering why there is no sound effects for SD realtek audio Manager tab. I know it's part of the software. I had one with my old toshiba laptop. Lenovo did disable this because the key/dolby theater?

  Go Device Manager... Sound, video and game controllers, and see if you have triangles yellow error next to your audio devices...

  My guess would be that you need to update the drivers for your audio devices.

  You should be able to find the drivers + Support Web site for your computer model...

  If not, find the number\model Audio chip and watch there chip manufacturers website for updates...

  I don't know if the audio problem is a single chip, or is part of your graphics device...

  If you don't find anything wrong in the audio, you can check that.

  On my Lenovo Edge 15 (BestBuy exclusive model), I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 and found that the Dolby Home Theater V4 software does not work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and software and still cannot program to work. The program opens and displays options, but Equalizer does not move (as it was on Windows 8.1) and it doesn't have a difference in the audio output.

  All of this worked before my Windows 10 transition. The audio quality is very thin and hard to hear without this software, I hope someone has a solution. Thank you very much for your help!

  Dolby Home Theater is not supported / not functional on Windows 10, for compatibility reasons.
  The official recommendation is to first uninstall it before upgrading to Windows 10.

  EDIT: I solved it after a few tries, I don't know if it is the best way, but it's how I solve this problem:

  (1) Delete last windows update (after that, it did not)

  (2) delete the sound driver from Device Manager and reboot (it did not)

  (3) download the driver for my lenovo model page and install it (it did not)

  (4) any uninstall Conexant audio and Dolby of my computer and re - install again (it does not), it seems that my dolby 7.6.4.9 driver version is not correct, I need the 7.5.1.1

  (5) again to uninstall everything and restart

  -From there, he solved my problem

  (6) go on my computer (my system is in Spanish, so I don't know the correct name for the version in English, sorry) and then go to the Lenovo partition, then open drivers > Audio > Setup.exe This will install your Conexant audio driver, and then restart.

  (7) after you restart your laptor, do the same thing... Lenovo > drivers > Audio > DolbyGUI > x 64 > DolbyDigitalPlusHT.msi, and then restart your computer and it should work fine.

• E540: Dolby Advanced Audio v2 cannot be installed on the new SSD

  the Dolby Advanced Audio v2 question keeps grinding my gears. The situation:

  I added a second drive (SSD) successfully to the E540, everything works and is configured correctly. I still have the disk original in place and achieved 8.1 Windows (x 64) installed on both drives. However, I can't run Dolby Advanced Audio v2 when starting Windows Setup (fees) on the SSD. Just after starting, or you try to start the application, there is a Windows error message telling me that the Dolby-driver cannot be executed, and I have to reinstall the application if the error continues to exist.

  When booting from the original HARD disk there is no problem with Dolby Advanced Audio v2, the application works very well. Every time booting from SSD error message appears.

  I know that it is a known problem and I read all of the information that is out there on the internet. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the DRIVERS on C: several times record, everything was installed in orders different and tried almost all of the combinations use the audio CONFIGURATION, Setup in DOLBY, the UIUa64 and so on. I can't install correctly Dolby Advanced Audio v2 on the new SSD. The installation ends and Dolby Advanced Audio v2 is displayed in the list of installed programs, but at the end of the installation, the error message also occurs.

  (I followed exactly the solutions reported for other systems, but none of them worked for me. Please tell me in what order I should run the driver setup (s) for my E540 if you think that it is a source of possible error).

  I don't really know what could cause the error during the (apparently) accurate installation still work when starting from the original HARD drive? I would really really appreciate advice that could help me solve the problem.

  (PS: I speak not of Dolby Digital Plus, but Advanced Audio v2!) The Dolby Digital Plus the user interface is available on the SSD. The sound quality varies considerably between the two installations of Windows on the SSD and HARD drive and the loss of sound quality is unacceptable for me.)

• Y510p lack of Dolby Home Theater

  Well, I read online that the Y510p was supposed to have Dolby Home Theater v4 and I can't? I looked in programs and features program files and can't find anything about it. I reinstalled the driver on the site and the d: / in car (LENOVO), but I still do not see it. Also, I didn't know that Dolby Home Theater on the drivers/downloads section of the Web site.

  Any thoughts on how I can get this?

  The program is not in the software available for the Y510P. However, I found the program in this link. But it's for the Thinkpad S430.

  I forgot to make a backup of the disk D:\ before formatting the hard drive on my Yoga 11 s.

  Now, I'm trying to reinstall all the software/drivers that were previously installed.

  I got most of them through download, but I'm unable to install Dolby Home Theater v4.

  I receive the error message "CESP must be installed.

  Is there a driver/software that I'm missing that would allow me to install this?

  I clicked to update the device driver.

  I chose the folder that had the W8-64 drivers (C:\drivers\Conexant Audio Drivers\W8-64) and he said that the appropriate driver has been installed. I then realized to go for my own driver and was able to install the Conexant Smart Audio HD driver.

  Now, I was able to install Dolby.

  The only thing I can think is for what reason Windows believes it was the best sound driver.
