C40-05 no sound

Grandparents bought a C40-05 new all-in-one, more than a month and they called me to help get the sound working again. I tried to reinstall Dolby Digital, but that has not worked. I have downloaded a driver Realtek by SlimDrivers, which seemed to work. But it has stopped working. Then I have went on the official website of Lenovo for audio drivers and installed all the. Nothing. What the hell is the problem? I tried to go back to a previous driver which seemed to make it work. But then I just got a call from my grandparents a few days more by saying that it is so more work again. What the hell do I find a solution? Completely unacceptable that this office has such software bug. Any help is appreciated.

I finally got to work by reinstalling some drivers, but I'll be waiting to hear back from the owners to see if they have any questions again. If so, I will try this solution. Thank you.

  • C40 - 30 - reprogram another keyboard?

    I have a C40-30 and the keyboard is terrible, after a few months, some of the letters have disappeared from some keys (not that it matters but aesthetically, it's not nice to see) and another the little plastic used as 'feet' for the broken keyboard.   • C40 with 1080 p and 720 p cameras

    I have a C40 with a camera 1080 p as main and two 720 p cameras Garland. My problem is that cameras 720 p two continue to go to mode standby when not in use. So, when I use the preset for them to be shown they rock mode of privacy to the preset position. Then when another camera preset is used the camera switches to the privacy mode. Can I disable this feature? There is no option in the menus of codec or the API files.

    From your brief description, looks like cameras are their stand-by.  You did not mention which version of the software that you use on the C40, but the adjustment has been there for a while.

    This can be configured on the C40.  In the web interface, go to Configuration-> Eve and then set the 'StandbyAction', 'None' rather than 'Position of privacy' - this will leave the cameras pointing in the same direction when the camera goes to sleep.

    As for the camera to swing towards the Position of privacy when another preset is used - that sounds particular preset as it was set incorrectly (with cameras in the position of privacy).

    We currently use our C40 calls video multisite host, but I just got the devices configured to receive easily / do only audio calls.  We buy the Multisite option with each of our devices key, so my question is: what is the maximum number of audio users that can be integrated in a multisite on the C40 call?  It is still limited by the restriction of four site of the Multisite License, or is it able to handle more since this is a member only audio?

    Our range from 62 to systems rack mounted in an environment conditioning of 71C for one in a small school with only two ventilation grilles.

    We had to remove the door to the credence table directly in front of the codec in a few rooms with poor air conditioning as their temperature sat on approximately 75 C when idle, despite air vent covers - it decreased to about 10 degrees once the door has been removed.

    The red light of the headset jack means the MacBook Pro thinking that an optical audio cable is plugged into the port. Try to have disconnected and reconnected a headphone plug into the port several times. There is a tiny sensor inside the port that determines if the port is operating in analog or optical mode. Something similar by plugging should trigger the sensor and restore the analog signal.

  • New Audio USB Interface lose sound on El Capitan

    A few weeks ago that I upgraded my MacBook Pro retina 15 "end 2013 to El Capitan, after that my USB Audio Interfaces (Focusrite Scarlett 2i4) and Safire 6 USB stopped working properly. Both work correctly when they are connected to an iMac 5K running the same operating system.

    I can listen to Audio for some time (about 10-2 Minutes, it is always different), when the Audio starts to crush und get outs, after a certain time there is only silence "click on" come out of the speakers.

    It is most likely a software conflict. Note the time at which audio is running out. Open the Console and look for accidents or mistakes at this time.

    The reason why it crashes on a mac, but not the others most likely is related to differences in software installed. Run Etrecheck on touch mac and post the report here.
