Related modes, nothing happens?
I have built 3 separate independent vCenter servers during the last 2 months. DR, VDI and PROD. Each is based on Windows 2008 R2 and vCenter 4.0 with update 1 is running. They are also all on the same domain with the firewall disabled. PROD was done last and I wanted it to be the first server in a connected mode configuration. So, I proceeded to connect on the server DR and ran the vCenter Server Linked Mode Configuration in the menu start and choose Change Linked Mode Configuration. I ticked the box "Instance of vCenter server joining an existing group of related modes" or another instance (isolate is greyed out) and registered in the domain name FULL of PROD with Port 389 LDAP server. Installation completed without error, but when I connect to PROD with the vSphere Client, I don't see anything about DR. I tried the same procedure with the Server VDI and which shows no more. I don't have any errors, but nothing seems to happen. Am I missing something? Help!
Scott.
Try this: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1009551
Also, try to set up the linked profiles logged in as the same user that you have installed vCenter (or try local administrator).

When trying to optimize a Youtube video, nothing happens.
Whenever I try to optimize a Youtube video, nothing happens. I click the "Maximize" button but there is no answer.
I can watch Youtube videos in the "reduced" and "theatrical" view very well. I can watch videos on other sites on full screen as well. When I switch to another web browser, like the Chrome, I can watch Youtube videos in fine maximized mode.
Hi Chuckk.
1. go to Youtube.
2. once the site is loaded, click the padlock icon in the address bar.
3. set "Enter Fullscreen:"'Always ask' or 'Allow' permission. "(Remember to reactivate things like hardware acceleration if my solution worked).

Buttons on the dialog and prompt boxes are empty and nothing happens when I click on them.
Whenever a dialog box or a dialog box appears, all the buttons, or sometimes just the low two (OK and cancel) are empty and nothing happens when I click on them, with the exception of a Web site in which clicking on the white button who normally says 'OK' takes me to a white screen. This does not allow me to access some sites or Web download anything when a dialog box asks me to confirm. So, I also can't start firefox in safe mode or refresh.
An example is attached. This is what came up when I tried to update to firefox. Nothing happens when I click on one of the buttons at the bottom.
EDIT: Attached the image.
Hmm. could be a corrupted file was the cause, and it replaced.

I uninstalled all Firefox files, etc. and reinstalled the latest version. When I open the menu at the top right and click on customize, nothing happens. Before I reinstalled it, all I would get was a blank white screen. Now as I said, I get no response at all.
Any suggestions as to what I can do...?
Kind regards
Laurie

What should I do?This occurs in safe mode?
Perhaps you have a damaged places.sqlite , try to go to your profile (perhaps you need then unhide the hidden files and folders) and rename or delete the "fileplaces.sqlite (close Firefox) before. Restart Firefox, and then try again.

When I reinstall the old version, it works fine, but when I update it to the latest version it will stop working, that nothing happens when I click it
Safe mode is a diagnostic tool. Your add-ons and some options are
disabled. If the program runs without failure, but not normal mode that says
the likely cause is an add-on. Now the hard work begins.
Launch Firefox in Mode safe
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > advanced > General. Find and turn off
Use hardware acceleration. Now restart.
If there is still a problem, back in safe mode. Then
Firefox > Modules > Extensions. Then go through and Disable EVERYTHING
Add - ons. Stop and try again. Let us know how you do. -
After update today (20/11/2012) to 17.0 Firefox, when I click on the link to modules in the toolbar, nothing happens. I can click on downloads and window open, same for all the rest except the modules. Any ideas on how to get it to work?
Hello JPV555, another user reported that tab mix plus can cause this problem - you have installed too? If so, please start firefox in safe mode, go to the addons - manager & keep the mixture to label more disabled until there is an update available for the extension.

15.0.1 Mozilla gets stuck. You click on the links and nothing happens. No wheels spinning, nothing. I open Firefox in a new window, the same thing. I can only fix it by starting the Task Manager and close all Firefox Windows. [When I launch Internet Explorer, there no problem.] Thanks for your help!

Nothing happens when I try to click on certain tabs or links on various websites
Suddenly, Firefox does not respond when I try to click on different things. The hand does not appear and nothing happens. For example, I can not delete emails by clicking on the button Delete or close any other site using the logout button. It doesn't seem to be my computer because I don't have these problems when I use Internet Explorer.
Hello
Please check if this happens in Safe Mode.
Troubleshooting Extensions and themes
Safe mode disables the installed Extensionsand themes (appearance) in (Alt + T) Tools > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. Options > Advanced. All these parameters/additional custom modules can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed to normal mode of Firefox to check if an extension, theme or hardware acceleration is causing issues.

In the block of the URL, there is an arrow curved to the right end of the block. When I put the cursor in the block in preparation for the opening of a URL, the changes of curved arrow to a right arrow, pointing to the right. After entering the URL and pressing ENTER, nothing happens. If I click on the right arrow, I am taken to the desired site. It started to happen about 2 weeks ago. How can I solve this problem, so that when I hit the Enter key, I am taken to the desired site?
This problem may be caused by the AVG Safe Search extension.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

There is no way to enter web addresses and then go to them. You can type an address in the bar address, but when you press on enter, nothing happens... It's as if the button enter is broken...
