  If you are publishing to Business Catalyst, go to file > properties of the Site in Muse. The 'Advanced' Panel will turn off IBE. We will address this problem in an update very soon.

  As well as to pin the menu in the page, you should also place in the top layer in Muse to make sure that every thing in Muse is below the navigation.

  Please check the steps to do this.

  1. open the master page in Design view

  2 open the Panel layers and create a new layer by clicking on the new layer button.

              

  3. by default, this new layer will become the top layer. (You can rename it)

  4. once the layer is created, right click on the menu and click "Move to the layer" and select the top layer.

  

  Now the preview site and everything scrolls under the menu.

  1. open the layers panel (window > layers)

  2. in the control panel menu, choose new layer. In the dialog box, you can name the layer if you like Page numbers.

  3. on your main page, select the text block with the selection tool (black arrow tool) page numbers.

  I'm working on a magazine layout, which has the page number and month located downstairs outside the corner of each page (pretty standard). Of course, I have this set up on the master spread.   Check that the master page element is not set to prevent substitute also. Go to the main spread and select the folio of problem, choose Pages > Master Pages... and make sure that allow point Master overrides on selection is checked. MP articles that are protected do not have the framework dotted on the pages when show the contours of the block is selected.

  And make sure that you have not inadvertently duplicated the folio on the page or master page.

  This is the STRANGEST thing... I have a document in InDesign created by someone else. I intend to use it as 'art of seeds' for another pamphlet, but the text is behaving strangely that I try to move or copy and paste in a new default value of the document.

  Select menu and confirm that it is not browser pinned to the bottom of the browser window or define a footer element (which would cause it to move down in the white area). You can also temporarily replace the filling of the page to help you determine where the text is moving to.
