@RELATIVE ({size},-1) feature

I'm developing a business rule in an environment I can't experiment in particular in and ideally, the technical reference Oracle ignores how the @RELATIVE function works when you specify a level and acting on a level member.

So my question is: if I correct @RELATIVE ({cost center},-1), then select a level 1 (California) cost center in my form. Which of the following results set?

R: California

B: California, Texas, Rhode Island, etc. (all US States)

C: something else?

The children of California will be returned.

I don't know what you have in your hierarchy below California (and my US geography isn't very big!)

    In a demo, I arranged the text the way I wanted it to appear.  However, when I drag this demo in a model of the same size, the relative size of the words is different.  It is not a camera problem, that I have not all the cameras in the demo, until it could be?

    I apologize by lack of screen shots/project file, I'll have to post from another computer while I make.

    You use the correct view? You could stil be arranged layers for example in the front view, not the Active camera view even if there is no real camera...

  • Resize transitions and relative size components.

    In my coding style, I tend to indicate a relative sizes (width = "50%"). It is, IMO, the best way for business-driven applications.

    Now, I'm working on a module that uses a lot of transitions (mainly resizing panels). To do this, I found that because I use relative sizing, asking instead for a Panel to grow, I have to ask the other panels to become smaller (< mx:Resize HauteurPour = '0' / >). When I want these boards to return to their original size, I can't use < mx:Resize HauteurPour = "100%" / > because resizing does not accept relative size. Instead, I use AnimateProperty to the percentHeight but who don't feel well, and the result is a bit erratic.

    So, I asked, is my programming style gets in the way my goals? Should I use pixel-based sizes in this module? I would like to hear your ideas on the subject.

    Thank you, Greg.

    I was thinking about my screen to use the layout constraint based as much as I can and I ended up with a hybrid solution quite nice. Now all transitions works very well.

    In the future, I will try to use as much as possible based constraint implementation. Flex seems to work that way better.

  • How to get the Panel to display thumbnails of the boundaries of the layer instead of document of toentire relative size?

    There is an option for this, but it only partially works... and I was wondering if there is something else I'm supposed to know about to make the feature work as described...?

    I can activate the option to display thumbnails... transmission in works for the bitmap stuff.  None of my vector masks are shown in the size of their layer.  (Note - I layer in the form of transparency disabled - which means that the layer is shaped by the vector mask and not any content.)  It is verifiable by checking the option to display the boundaries of the layer).

    Yet, when I do this, it's obvious on the biggest screen (if the boundaries of the layer are displayed), than the vector contains the complete layerBut in the thumbnail, I often can't even the shape of all , not very useful.

    So what don't understand me?  How can I get thumbnails of vector to display the size of their layer?

    Thank you!

    I think it is supposed to work this way - vector layers are basically always full document size and the path determines only the pixelation and the visibility of the content based on the rule of filling in the path box. Don't say that there could be no way to determine the bounding box on the fly and use it for the thumbnails does not, but I do not know there is a certain reasoning / logic for this behavior. I guess it is also a matter of preference - in Illustrator, it's like that and it makes me crazy, because we never see where the substance is compared to the artboard.

  • Bar does not appear correctly the relative size of ScrollBar

    I'm not sure of the right terminology please bear with me. In CS4 when I Zoom in on an image, the bar downstairs would show the size of the image now on the screen compared to the size. know if I pass the bar from 50 percent to 100 percent would be half that size indicating that I see only half the picture. At least, I think that was the case in CS4.

    Here's and example of CS6.

    1. Open an image, choose 'Command-0' to make it fill the window, and the percentage of 48,16%. The bar downstairs is not there, but if it was I suppose that he would fill the width of the window.
    2. I select "command-+ ' to zoom in, and the percentage increased to 50%. The bar fills now about 30% of the width of window indicating I zoomed in a lot, but I did not. There is only a little image on each side not visible, the rest is a huge grey area that extends from left to right and top to bottom.

    How do the bar indicates the true amount of zoom, and how do I get rid of this grey area?

    I wonder if you have enabled in cs6 Application Framework?

    Window > Application frame.

    I believe in cs4 and cs5, that part of the application is not on by default, but in cs6 is.

  • Canvas size Bug/Feature

    In previous versions of PS defining a Web of smaller size that the current image is crop all layers, now that the base layer is cropped. It's probably better than what PS has done previously, but why change now when people have libraries of scripts that could be (and have been in my case) broken by this change? I mean if it was OK to do it for the eleven first versions surely making selectable as it would have been a better choice just to change it with no option to maintain compatibility with the previous behavior?

    Your assumption (or terminology) seems to be wrong.  The behavior you describe (maintenance of the data beyond the current canvas layer) has been around for a very long time.

    Just to be sure, I was not remembering wrong (as I'm becoming SOME afterall) I just tested on CS5, CS4, CS3, CS2, CS and 6.0.

    Large image with layers, Image - adjust - size of the small canvas, then return the canvas size to enlarge.  All data was still there (except that the expanded background area was filled with the background color).

  • How to adjust the relative size of the two halves of a circle when cut?

    If you do type on a path in Illustrator on a circle, and you cut the circle in half 50-50 to get the type of the right way to the top in each half - you can set the half to make it 60-40 for example or any other proportion (to allow to change the length of the text in half superior)?

    Or do you cut the circle in the exact spot you need every time?

    Like this..?

  • How can I increase the size of location box and decrease the size of search box? The location was smaller and more small while the search box took the reports.

    The location box is so short, I don't see the url I type in, for example "yahoo.com" while the search box is so long that I can type a whole sentence in

    Place the mouse pointer between the address bar and the search bar, and it will become an icon of resizing that you can drag to the right or left to adjust the relative size of the two bars.

    Hello;

    Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

    You said that you have restored your PC using a DVD, but HP recover media consists of a SET of DVD, not a single DVD - so I have to assume that it was NOT a support of HP recovery.

    Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

    Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.

    You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

    If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

    If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

    NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

    If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

  • I'm trying to reduce the duration of the google navigation and search boxes without any succuss. Numerious times the site was requested, but no response is the problem. I can change the size by using the line that separates the two boxes, but I only

    I added a cus 06/25/10, wanted to shorten the google search and navigation bars to see, but can't. Have re-installed the google toolbar, have chosen the version of firefox as my default tool bar and can then change the width, but when a box shortens the other if extension always fill the width of the screen. Customize toolbar doesn't give any options to reduce the width of toolbar, I am at a total loss. Would love suggestions if you have correctly fixed this.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    is 25/06/10

    The address bar and the search bar have a flex property and take all available space.
    You can change the relative size of the two with this resizer between two bars.
    You can only do this by adding a lot of space in the view > toolbars > customize window.

    You can set a fixed width by defining the min-width and max-width for the same value.

    Add code to userChrome.css below @namespace.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_configuration#How_to_edit_configuration_files

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #urlbar-container {max-width:400px!important; min-width:400px!important;}
    #search-container {max-width:200px!important; min-width:200px!important;}

    You can choose your own values as long as the min-width and max-width for each bar have the same value.

  • change the point size of overset text paragraph style

    Hi guys,.

    I can't work this at all.

    I want to gradually reduce the size of the text in a block of overset text.

    I want to reduce the relative size of each paragraph for example, body text style is 9pt and 10pt subheadings, so the body of the text should reduce 8.5pt and subheading 9.5 ft.

    myDoc var = app.activeDocument;

    myTextFrame = myDoc.textFrames;

    for (i = 0; i < myTextFrame.length; i ++) {}

    While (myTextFrame [i] .overflows)

    myTextFrame [i]. ParagraphStyles.everyItem (.pointSize) - is 0.5;.

    }

    That's what I have, but I can't seem to access paragraph styles.

    Any suggestions?

    [Jongware] pretty much answered that question in your previous post: reduce the size of the text in a text overset frame

    [Jongware] wrote:

    1. for (i = 0; i
    2. {
    3. {while (App.activeDocument.Stories [i]. Overflows)}
    4. app.activeDocument.stories [i] .pointSize-= 0.5;
    5. app.activeDocument.stories [i] .recompose ();
    6. }
    7. }

    (Note that the text of the story gets the same size. "I hope that this is not a problem with your text.)

    Yes, it says that all of the text of the story will have the same size text applied... but it is a simple amendment to add a loop for () to run lines 4 and 5 through each paragraph in the story rather than the full story. Try this and see how it goes.

  • Incompatible font with a follow-up 3D camera size

    Hi all

    I have some mobile photos who need stocks on caterpillars. I opened my shot in AE went to Effects > 3D tracking camera > selected a trackpoint, click right and added my title and a camera. The first shot is superb! The title remains with the image and the character settings are just how I would like it.

    I go to my next shot to do exactly the same thing, I followed exactly the same procedure, but this time the police is a different size, even if the parameters of characters are the same. Even if these two fonts are 30px they show that radically different sizes. I can't get to eyeball the size and race for each shot, which is not ideal, since it is a professional job.

    I tried this with multiple injections and he continue to occur. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    I go to my next shot to do exactly the same thing, I followed exactly the same procedure, but this time the police is a different size, even if the parameters of characters are the same. Even if these two fonts are 30px they show that radically different sizes.

    Text in Ae have 3 parameters that control its apparent size on the screen (without taking into account the effects or text animators): the size of font in pixels which is a setting within the character Panel, scale and position Z in 3D.

    If your text is 30px you still 2 variables that can change. When you add your text to a target in the 3D camera Tracker, Ae does this to his account and creates this arrangement of z scale according to the size of the target you set in 3D Tracker and camera information. This makes it quite unpredictable as to what exactly the size or position in Z space/scale you're going to get finally = the appearance of your text on the screen is different from each shot. each track is different because each point tracking in 3D space is different and every camera movement is different - as you can see that there are many variables so you can not predict that the text will be the same size.

    You can somewhat control the relative size by increasing or decreasing the size of the target

    I can't get to eyeball of the right size and the race for each shot,

    no doubt. There are ways to make it easy on yourself - you can work with snapshots.

  • How can I know the actual size of the type in a document of intent 'web '?

    I'm designing a document for iPhone 6plus pixels (1334 x 750) and need to know how translates the size. For example, when I call a text 30 PT., in the real world on the iPhone it's something much smaller than this... maybe 12 pt. This has something to with the number of pixels in the canvas... but how to convert?

    So, how to calculate the actual size of the type? I'm not good at math, I need to be told how to do it.

    For the output and display at 100%, InDesign defines the physical size of a pixel as "1/72, so the relationship between the print type size and displayed size of the iPhone is a simple report. For the iPhone6 72/326 Gets the relative size of the print to display discount, and 326/72 would be a multiplier. So to display 12pt type how it would print, set it to 54.4 pt (12 x 4.53). Or, to view a 1 inch by 1 inch square, resize it 453%.

    For the iPhone6 more the multiplier is 401/72 or 5.57

    Wonder if there is anyone who knows if there is a quick way to add a footer logo to several images of different sizes (which I think is why action is not an option)? / Niklas

    If you place a version of the footer that is wider than the images and the preferences are set as a result he will be fit to width.

    Then you could use the relative size of canvas and align the foot down a select all.
