Relative to the image path?

Recently, I've migrated to Win XP for a new PC Win 8. Installs all of the files and associated D.W. apps... everything went relatively homogeneous. But I noticed that the relative to any Image created in Photoshop path retains the old path

i.e.

(Old) original file:///C|/Documents and Settings / My Documents/SGP Web Design stuff/Menu_Button_Home_2013.psd

New file: ///C|/Documents/PMF Web Design stuff/Menu_Button_Home_2013.psd

Is a file in my site D.W. with these paths? If I could do a global update...  I have dozens of these type entries... wouldn't do all the 1 by one.

THANKS in advance

Guess I didn't explain my dilemma properly.  My site worked very well after I migrated to the new PC... all the SOURCE Images were in my root folder... What I couldn't find (so far) was where the ORIGINAL. PSD files have been referenced. D.W. Dungeon synchronize information with Photoshop, if/when the Original is updated... D.W. notifys you. Please see scrnshot GREEN arrow below.

After several hours of P.D. I figured it out for future reference... the ORIGINAL file is referenced in a subfolder of your images folder called _NOTES each & every image has an associated. JPG. MNO file.

Simple example Home_Button.JPG resides in the folder of images... Home_Button.jpg.MNO lives in _notes.

Down near the bottom of Home_Button.JPG.MNO is a record that points to the ORIGINAL of Parent file.

Looks like:

I had hundreds of them that need updating... I used the search function of D.W. & replacement... took a few tries to get all the options set correctly. But it saved me several hours.

Hope this helps someone in the future migrate to/from PC.

    Hello

    In the Configurator 1.0, I was able to put a logo/image in the content folder and use the loader SWF/Image to show that image just by typing the name of images in the URL field.

    I can't get that to work with Configurator 2.0!

    Do I have to type a special path to the image?

    Kind regards Brian

    Hello

    The image must be in your YourPanelName.assets

    Check if your image is in this path:

    Photoshop / plugins / panels / yourPanelNameFolder / content / YourPanelName.assets

    In the 'location (URL)' configurator, set the name of your image (e.g. image.png)

  • How read the images path ' in the stored catalog?

    I'm really new to an attack development, and LR. I have a problem to find the right methods to run my intentions.

    I would get the paths real pictures in the catalog, so that my external plugin can be used for further processing.

    [I don't know Lightroom stores catalogue on behalf of C:\Users\[user] \Pictures\Lightroom\Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat. But I want to get the real path to each .jpg inside this catalogue and write this path in a simple file (for example, .txt) where my plugin can read the path and use the images chosen by the user in LR.

    Then my plugin stores the images processed with tags in a file that should be read by LR. I don't know if it's that easy. Perhaps, he should create an additional collection for the catalog?

    The thing is that the Lightroom 5 manual is not really useful. And it would be great if someone could help me.

    You can obtain the path of a picture with photo file system: getRawMetadata ('path').

    Plugins can add new pictures to the catalog - see catalog:addPhoto ().  All the metadata in these photos will also be imported into the catalog.  In addition, a plugin can add additional metadata using the methods supported by the LrPhoto class.  However, these methods are incomplete infuriatingly - for example, there is no way to change the capture time.

  • An excerpt from CAN (can edit, change, etc.) created from a trace of the image paths? (CS6)

    Hiya Adobe community,

    This might me up a little, but a long time ago I used to use Freehand as my defacto design tool until I went to I. At that time, I also used "Rationalize" (http://www.adobe.com/products/streamline/) to perform the functions track image is today. While its results were a little rough, the software gave me the vector points, paths and acnhors that I needed. After all the traces, I could manually change the vector traces resulting.

    I have been using the CS6 tracing feature, but the only thing I can't understand for the life of me is the question of the "bounding box" for an imported picture. Whenever I have draw a drawing, tracing of AI results always placed a bounding box around the area of the vectorized image. My goal: to locate an item, get rid of the bounding box and extract contours and paths so that I can then change to my link.

    Is this possible? Im sure it is possible... I can not find how. (Or I do the wishes of crack?) Everything I have said, if Streamline allowed me to change the track paths, so it would be a shame if AI CS6 is not.

    See the image attached for some content. Thanks in advance for any help!

  • How make for the image path full output for recorder/console

    Hi all

    I'm just starting getting my hands dirty with the lr sdk and could do with a little guidance.

    For a part of a plugin, I need to retrieve the path complete to each image, and well I can achieve what I want I fight to print the path to the console log / and can not understand why.

    Here is a snippit of code to illustrate things:

    for photo in exportSession:photosToExport() do

         filename = photo:getFormattedMetadata( "fileName" )
         outputToLog( filename )  -- Works as expected
         folderName = photo:getFormattedMetadata( "folderName" )
         outputToLog( folderName )  -- Works as expected

         local path = LrPathUtils.standardizePath(photo:getRawMetadata("path"))
         outputToLog( path ) -- Output is always blank

         -- and yet when passed to exiftool the path is correct and works as expected

         LrTasks.execute("exiftool  -Copyright=\"Imaginary person\" \""..path.."\"")

    end

    Basically, I can get the path and use them as part of a command, exiftool, but cannot work, how the path to the log console to output debugging purposes. Am I missing something simple, or is it a voluntary limitation?

    Hello

    Just upgraded multiple instances of 4.1 to 4.2.1. Running apex listener 2.0.0.354.17.05 on glassfish 3.1.2.2. Our database is 11.2.0.3.0 on centos 2.6.32 - 279.9.1.el6.x86_64

    One of our updates have a very unusual problem. Our applications everything will work perfectly, but the generator screens are empty, or at least appear empty. The source of the page looks normal in a browser, except we are seeing that the image paths are all poorly trained. They all lack the directory ' / ' final after the 'i' of the images. For example, the login page of the generator has the reference of the following image:

    https://ourorg.org/iapex_ui/apexlogo.PNG

    who should be

    https://dev.insitehome.org/i/apex_ui/apexlogo.PNG

    If I type the correct URL, the image is visible, so I doubt there is any problem with the version of the images or the location of the server. Apex SEEMS to generate the incorrect path for the images.

    createImage.

  • Buttons dynamically related to the same web purpose all displaying different PDF

    I use a web object to display a PDF file. This seems to be the best way to actually display a PDF file inside a captivate training module 9 (I could be wrong).

    The ultimate goal is to have the buttons make a URL of a document in a database and display PDF said PDF on a web object. I can't encode a PDF URL in a web object quite easily, but I can't understand to show a specific PDF once a button has been clicked.

    Any advice?

    I was able to find a solution to the problem.

    I've updated all the documents in a database and I've been able to show these documents in my captivate module. This was done by providing the web object with a relative to the document path. The following script was attached to the buttons.

    try {}

    window.iFrameReference;

    Window.frm;

    / * Detect output SWF or HTML5 * /.

    If (typeof window.cp = 'undefined') {}

    / * We output SWF * /.

    window.iFrameReference = $("iframe[id^='helloiframe']") [0];

    } else {}

    / * We have out of HTML5.  Change the name of the element below * /.

    Window.frm = $("#WebObject iframe") [0];

    / * Output HTML5 has IFRAME nested up to get a reference to the inner iframe * /.

    * Window.iFrameReference = frm.contentWindow.$('#helloiframe') [0] ;*/

    }

    / * Get the web address of Captivate * /.

    Adresse_web var = window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue ('File1');

    / * Change the source of the iframe to the variable cp * /.

    Window.frm.SRC = Adresse_web;

    } catch (err) {}

    Window.Console.log (Err);

    }

    Where WebObject was the name of the web object that I placed in my module and a file1 is the local variable I created that stored the path relative to the document in the DB.

    Hello

    Use the property 'reading a file:

    http://www.Oracle.com/webapps/online-help/reports/10.1.2/topics/htmlhelp_rwbuild_hs/rwcontxt/props/pi_col_read_from_file.htm

    Example 1: Image
    Suppose that for each of your employees, you have a .bmp file that contains a picture of the employee. In your employee table, you have a column called PHOTO that contains the name of the .bmp with the employee photo file.

    To generate a report that shows photos of employees, you select the PHOTO column in your query. In the properties of column for the PHOTO column, read you the value of the file Yes and specify the Image as a File Format. Generator of reports displays the files pointed to by the PHOTO column every time you have referenced the PHOTO column in your layout.

    Note: If the playback of the file is set to no, the file names will be printed instead of the photos.

    Of course, the image must be in a Format supported by reports

    Concerning

  • path of the image file that links do not correctly in the executable file

    I have a jpeg file in a project that I'm building which is not loading when run as an executable file.  The executable seems to be looking in the same directory that the image file was originally instead of the support folder where the image is deployed.  On another machine, the exe will look for the image in the directory, that were found on my machine.  When I drag the image file of the project on the block diagram Explorer, it creates a constant path of file indicates where the file is located on my machine.  This does not seem to update when I build the exe.  The image file is included in the source files.  Any help is appreciated!

    A constant path is... Yes indeed constant! It's not automatically change whenever someone might move the file too, whatever his imagination made her do. He does not maintain a link to the actual file it could use later to detect that the file has been moved elsewhere. In fact Windows has quite such a mechanism.

    So if you want to access an external file to your executable application to first do a correct path when running. My approach is to put in a directory from a VI file that I put in my application. Then in this VI use the way of getting current VI, band name the VI of it and add the location relative to the other file to it.

    If you do something like this:

    The project directory

    Directory of the utility

    My Location.vi

    Data directory

    MyResource.jpg

    in system development, then:

    The application directory

    MyApplication.exe

    Data directory

    MyResource.jpg

    in the application of the construction.

    With this provision, it doesn't matter even if you use the old format of executable LabVIEW 8.x or the new default format since LabVIEW 2009.

    My Location.vi is just a VI that takes a relative path in the entry (in this case "... / directory/MyResource.jpg data" called the "Current path to VI" node, use 'Band path' to remove the name of VI, then build to add this entry path, and this is!.)
