• USB composite device driver is missing

  I'm having some trouble to install Generic USB devices on Windows 7 (i.e. concentrators and composite devices). The window can't find the driver for the device, even if it must use only the drivers built into windows. After that I connected the device, Windows reports unknown device.

  In Device Manager, if I select the camera, then press:

  -"Update driver software...". »

  -"Browse my computer for driver software".

  -"Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  -Manufacturer set "(Standard USB Host Controller)" "

  In the model list, "USB Composite Device" is missing. I think it should be included, as it is on other computers. Why is this lack?

  The driver file c:\windows\system32\drivers\usbccgp.sys exist and there are other Composite USB device listed in Device Manager. Only, it seems willing to recognize new devices.

  Is it possible to reinstall the USB drivers?

  I suspect that the problem is the inf files.  This is another long shot, but it might be useful running sfc/scannow in an elevated command prompt.

  Have youre pc hardware written info if necessary (chipset), & its mfg (intel, amd, etc.).

  go to the website mfg, downloads, get the chipset Chipset youre Installer and install it.

  This gets you drivers/software for sound, USB etc.

  The latest version is ver.v1.4.6.0 out June 19, 2012.

  I recommend you to please update the USB drivers on your computer and check if it helps.

  Well, I got it working. After a few other reinstalls, I decided to search the lists to see if I could find acompatible pilot. I found "USB Composite Device" under USB controllers and installed. Now, everything works fine and I spent the devices successfully.

  Try the following and see if it helps.

  I suggest you run the troubleshooter windows hardware and check if it helps.

  Printer: HP P1600

  After using an HP printer to my work and have installed the drivers "HP Smart Install" has been installed in a form any driver (?) USB.

  Sorry that it was not an option to turn off the Smart Install from the integrated Web server.

  I was check this.

  Make sure that you run the CD files or program uninstall.

  In this way, it must delete all the registry files.

  Make sure that the USB cable from the printer is disconnected.

  Here are the steps to run the uninstall of the computer or the CD.

  To uninstall program files:
  Go to start and select a computer.
  Select the C drive.
  Select the program files or program files x 86.
  Open the HP name and printer folder.
  Select uninstall.

  Uninstall from the CD:
  Go start, computer, right click on the CD for the printer, left click Open in a new window, double click on uninstall.

  Remove drivers in server properties, if they are still worn.

  Go to start, devices and printers.
  Highlight any printer.
  Click the print server properties in the upper part.

  Click the tab drivers at the top of the print server properties window.

  Choose the printer that you want to uninstall, and then click on remove.

  The next screen will give a warning, letting you know that the removal of the driver package will remove it from the system. Click Yes to say that you are sure you want to do.

  Then in the window devices and printers, right click on your printer and remove the device if the printer is still listed.

  If the printer doesn't figure yet in the Device Manager or in the registry, we would delete there also.

  The error message looks like a BIOS password. It seems that the security of the system has been compromised.

  Unknown BIOS password can be removed from the laptop user but can be removed by the Toshiba authorised service provider available in your area.
  So you will need to return the unit to an ASP for a password reset.

  4430 s is only available with the Intel UMA graphics card, so there is no motherboards, that you can change to include the AMD video that is optional on the 4530 s.

  I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

  The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

  1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

  If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

  2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  "Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

  I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

  I am running the application as an exe to build.

  I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

  Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

  The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

  Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge.
