Release App submission procedure
Hello
I have an application on the world of BB and is already on sale. Right now I have some update of the current application and I want to introduce a version of the app to the current application.
What is the procedure?
How long it takes for approval?
After approval, the world of BB will automatically after the new version for sale or will wait my acknowledgement?
Please advice.

N ° the only way to do this would be to contact seller support and ask them to hold it for you or approval manually take the version off sale until out.

Is it possible to submit an app in the BlackBerry App World which simply called the BlackBerry browser with a link to my mobile site? Are there disadvantages to this approach? I am very grateful for a quick response because I need an immediate response. Thank you

Question about newly released apps
How to appear new applications on App World. -What in the 'News' section as long as there are not enough new applications in this category? Also, my first application was on the 'spot' section, or at least what I think is the spotlight section. I who did not ask, was I just lucky or are new applications shown for a short time? Thank you for any input!
They normally abandoned in newcomers (as it is called on the PlayBook in any case) while apps as they are among the 25 most recently posted.
Presence in the spotlight or "spotlight" section is a lucky thing for you, the majority of new applications are shown certainly not here. Usually these applications have either been pinned for some reason known only to RIM, or their authors have identified (following some of the tips you will find in the App world FAQ in the provider Portal) and RIM agreed.

Release of stored procedure after UPDATE

I've written a LOOP that calls a second stored procedure.
In the second stored procedure, I have 3 INSERTS the values of each SELECT limited with a WHERE clause.
Example:

I update the existing line of 'old' with a new date, and then I'm basically duplicate this line but add a new DATE, the NAME and the ID is 'copied' as it is.
The big problem is that the lines of recursive updates. If the first statement updates a date, it could become a 'true' conditions for the second and the first update
That is not what I want. Initially, only one of the instructions is true, never. The problem with my code, is that after the first update and the setting of the date, the other "could" become reality.
This should stop. After the update has occurred, I need to stop the stored procedure.
How can I stop put an after?Use sql % rowcount after an immediate execution.
If sql % rowcount = 0, no line have been set to day/insert/selected.
If sql % rowcount > 0 then lines have been updated/inserted/selected day. -

I want to send the String [] [] type to this procedure from a function in the Application module:

2: CallableStatement plsqlBlock = null;
3: string declaration = "BEGIN testi(:1); END; « ;
4: plsqlBlock is getDBTransaction () .createCallableStatement (statement, 0);.
5: plsqlBlock.setArray (1, str); Get the error
6: plsqlBlock.executeUpdate ();
but in line 5 I do not know what type should I use and this type (Array) does not work

I went through several steps and procedures for publication through the Apple App Store. I have worked on various Adobe DPS applications before that but it would be the first time he crossed to the stage of submission of App Store. The following are a few questions I had were:
1. When you work with the Adobe viewer application, I have usually create folders with horizontal images and vertical separated, separate images of the retina and non-retine, etc. I usually just create separate layouts in Indesign and download them in their respective pages. But the guidelines and the steps mentioned in the documentation of publication obliges me to do. Why is this?
2. everywhere wherever I read on Adobe.com, it refers only to the guidelines for presentations at the Apple App Store. Is there anywhere I can get the guidelines for the presentation of Windows, Android, and Blackberry? Or they are not available through simple editing?
3. When you submit a DPS on the Apple Store App, what counts as a single presentation? I would probably have the same available in layouts iPad and iPhone app.
4. are there fees to pay for each submission of App and having the composition of the Apple Developer $99 entitles submit me the app free-non-price? If so, by the presence of a creative cloud (for Single-Edition Apps) and a subscription to Apple Developer, apps how can I submit annually?
5. I heard that the App submission process lasts about 3 weeks, for any response, after which the measures will have an additional amount of time. Is this true? I would need to propose a timetable for the customer in question.

1. because they are required parts of an application. LCA's sheets only. A folio is not an application, it just an application.
2. single Edition is iPad only.
3. out of words. See number 2.
4. you pay $99 / year for the developer account and if you charge for the app, Apple takes 30%.
5. three weeks is a very long time. One to two weeks would be more frequent.

iTunes 12.4 cannot update only selected apps more!
There is an iPad app that I use extensively (X 32 - Mix by Behringer, a professional music app), the latest version which is buggy. I have turned off updates automatic app on my iPad and have been updated manually all new releases app EXCEPT this one manually before daily synchronization. With iTunes 12.3, I was able to select all app updates, DESELECT the one in question, and then right click on one of the other, which would give me the possibility to UPDATE 12 APPS, or how ever many were available that day, not to mention the stroller one. With iTunes 12.4, this option to update only the selected applications does not seem to be available - I have to click on each one, one at a time and click on "Update", carefully avoiding clicking on X-32Mix. Very annoying and lasts much longer. Am I missing something?
I will also add my vote that I preferred the side-by-side listing of available items, click on (music, apps, podcasts, sound signals, etc.) rather than the drop-down below, which is not an improvement.
If someone sees a way to select a group of applications and the update, please let me know!Thanks, JW

I tried to hide the apps that I don't want TO update to your updates same reason-bad,
but they always appear in the update list
Apple killed the right-click in this case. I agree it is very annoying, because there are tons of apps updated whenever I check
I wrote a comment in the same time and I suggest you to do the same thing

Can anyone suggest good apps that are made for the Xoom? It's hard to find on the market because there is no section for tablet apps unlike the American version. Its getting annoying having to type in the 'honeycomb', 'xoom', 'Tablet', etc. to find a wallpaper honeycomb for the android phones and other useless stuff.
I want to find some optimized for tablet apps for entertainment, documents, radio, television, and games. So far its proven a challenge.

Now that the deadline is upon us, it has occurred to me that we had the advantage of not having to pay a filing fee for the pre-release app presentations. Does anyone know if this waiver ends also 31/3?
Right now, the credits are free and unlimited. They may change at some point in the future, but I don't expect not. In a future world where App World has more apps in the App Store or the Android Market, they would change it, anything else would be bad business.

BlackBerry App Question on applications of BB...
Hi, I currently own an android on a vibrant phone. I am looking for a new phone and I am considering the iphone 5 OR the z10 blackberry.
With my current phone, I have 2 things that really annoy me when it comes to apps. What I want to know about the BBz10 and its applications is...
Bb apps require a lot of personal information such as my contacts or location or phone info? I know that a few apps would be, but for the samsung apps, I've seen applications such as chess want personal information which I think is not necessary.
In second place on my phone there are a few applications that require that I must go and force them close even after that I have quit the application. Apps BB have this problem or are they finished running when you leave them?
Every Android owner will know what I mean with my questions. I hope BB apps are better when it comes to personal information and not being not so invasive.

Hello and welcome to the community!
Your question about personal information in applications actually would be better directed to application developers. BlackBerry does develop all the apps... in fact, only a small fraction of them. 3rd third-party developers create their applications and place in them the requirements they desire. I not saw nothing on BlackBerry where you indicate, except in the apps that would be a reason for it (for example, BB trip simply needs some data works properly). Here again, I did not use the types of applications you mention as examples (for example, chess).
In regards to the release of the app, BlackBerry 10 is pretty good all by releasing apps. Historically, apps had the ability to leave themselves a resident when closed in a way special, but so firm, they could be forced to close really. The BB10, I don't think that there is the capacity in fact in the same way, but I also think that BB10 is very well written from a perspective of memory management.

OK, so the App World just opened memory, app for playbook. It of great, but didn't I need to sign my build before I submit? How do I get signing keys? Also, did anyone out there jamming? If so, what tools do you use.

BlackBerry is emailing me like crazy
I get BlackBerry email saying me that my app submission is eligible for a PlayBook for free. I got 4 during the last 30 minutes. What is going on? I only have the application and the new version has been approved a long time ago.
Four separate emails. And, Yes, two releases. I got this already well before approved e-mail. By looking at the headers, it seems to be sent from an IP address instead of a domain name.
EDIT: well, that's embarrassing... Two at least were copies that have been automatically sent to my account from another. But I still have two duplicates without apparent reason. I guess this is not really a problem now if.

4th generation Apple TV doesn't appear in itunes sync window cannot have content. Home sharing is on. Can not download music from my itunes library on the apple TV. Had a previous 1st Gen Apple TV. Any help would be great. Thank you
The Apple TV is a device of broadcast rather than a storage device. You would home sharing and local stream your iTunes library via share house or stream content providers online who have released apps the App Store, such as Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, HBO etc would allow you to icloud photos and stream iCloud. But you won't actually store all personal data on the device ATV4 himself that the feature was available on the first generation...
