Reload the webpage button

Hello world.
I just installed FF6 and I noticed there isn't an option to display a button 'reload the Web page' more.
I have used to have home, Reload, Stop and the new tab.

Now, however, the reload button only appears sometimes.

How to show all the time? There are times when it would be useful to have, rather than just have him present with FF it's necessary.

Firefox 4 and later versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar.

During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.

If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.

Click the Reload button to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

The back button did not work correctly for perhaps a month. I have finally addressed the problem but have no solution. Updated for Firefox 43.0, turned off all my Add-ons back to header by default, then also ran the refreshment of deleted my Add-ons. This problem occurs on many web sites. I'll click on Rawstory.com (for example), and then click an article and start viewing. While the page does not appear to charge that I read, I noticed that the small icon in the tab of Rawstory winks (as if reloading the page). This happens over and over again. Now I know to pull down the window under the left arrow to see what happened. The last page I read ended show 9 times under the arrow to the left, even if all I did was click top once and read the article. I wondered if my click on the scroll bar to read to the bottom of the article is somehow cause this problem (same for the use of my fingers on the touchpad). Thanks for your help.

I know there is an addon for windows Classic theme, but I need a fix for osx... its very frustrating when you update and things like this change and can be customized to the way we are used to using the browser. his counter intuitive to have the page button refresh so far from the back and home buttons.

never mind, I found the preferences in the addon manager... Thanks again!

I put the rear buttons forward, Stop and reload, separately just to the left of the address bar. That's how I like it and how do I get my navigation. After the automatic upgrade at 29 killed my browser configuration, I tried to use Classic theme restaurateur but the reload button does nothing and now after awhile all buttons simply disappeared after place them where I like them. I'm reduced to having to right click on the web page and selecting the action in the context menu to make navigation as basic measures go forward and backward and reloading. WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    1. Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.
    2. Click the default settings button, then the button customize the output.
    3. If you don't already have it, install Classic theme restaurateur and restart Firefox when prompted.
    4. Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
    5. Beside the classical restaurant theme, click on the Options button.
    6. On the main tab, make sure that 'Mobile back-forward button' and 'hide urlbars stop & reload buttons' is checked. You can also check "combine stop & reload buttons. Close the options window when finished.
    7. Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.

    Hi narab.

  • How the LOGOUT button to reload?

WHY did you would anchor the reload/stop button. Now we cannot move. I've heard too many users has moved then forgot where she was. I can see how that creates headaches of support for you.

Anchor it at, less outside the URL field and beside the forward/back arrows. It creates a horrible usability issue. simply not friendly to completely cross the URL field. There must be a better solution than it dumbing down to the level of skill of the lowest user and just docking it.

And there must be a solution of customization for users who know what they are doing. Please, I beg you. Someone.

As far as I know, the Restorer of classic theme Add on is the only way to move the button reload outside the address bar.

    1. Classic restaurateur theme installation and restart Firefox when prompted.
    2. Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
    3. Beside the classical restaurant theme, click on the Options button.

  • Why "combine" the stop buttons reload? HOW to bring back a separate charging button?

I'm so tired of companies assuming that I want something in a certain way. My reload button disappears and is only visible when I go to customization. Why the hell would I want to stop and reload to be combined?

I can't reload whatever it either when I'm on a page and the 'stop' is not highlighted when I'm on a page, but sometimes there are times when I just want to reload the page!

This on top constant accidents which seriously makes me think that I need to get a new browser!

Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.

Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.

  • How can I stop the page to reload automatically when I hit the back button?

A few months back, I upgraded to a new laptop, and since then, when I hit the back button, it refreshes the previous page from what I can understand. On my last laptop, if I was doing some research on a site and click the previous button, the search bar would be automatically ready to hit the BACKSPACE and delete what is there for a new search. Now, when I hit the back button, I have to manually click inside the search box to do, and I hate it. When you are doing research on multiple sites, like this time savers really help. This applies to regular sites (forums, online stores, etc.), not search like Google sites.

I don't have this problem on my old laptop and does not know how to solve this problem on this one. They are the two Win7 x 64, and version of the browser is not the issue. I started Firefox on this computer that same exact on the last of them, and after the updates, it's always the same. I am currently on 8.0 but will soon be upgrading to the new.

Do you mean that the search bar on this page focus?

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • How to set the location of the function "reload the page" with the new update?

Since the new update, my previous settings have been changed and I can't get back them.
I could already right-click and customize what I wanted to see, now, I have a "menu open from the things I've decided I don't want to see" option stuck right without an option to not see. Okay so.

My main problem is that all of my computers I always 'Reload the page' and "Stop reload the page" options to the left of the URL bar. With the new update, ironically designed to make easier user interface customization, they are stuck in a slot inside the URL bar.

I wonder if anyone knows a way to customize it? Please and thank you.

Sorry, in Firefox 29 the reload / Stop button drop-down list is not movable. But there are extensions available to restore this preference.

This extension is popular, for example.

  • How can I move the home button between the front and the address bar?

Her that I have my firefox put in place over the years is to place the buttons like this:

[Back] [Front] [Stop/Reload] [Home] [Progress Animation] [Address bar]

Now in FF29 I'm trying to move the home button between BackForward buttons and the address bar and it won't let me.

I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet? * confused *.

Is there a way to do it, am I missing something? Thank you

"I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet?

Who told you that was incorrect, as far as I'm concerned. Firefox is more customizable than the 'competition', but not as much as the previous versions were.

The home button can be moved, but the back / button drop-down list is set to the address bar - they cannot be separated.

The combo Stop / Reload button is locked in the address bar.

The 'old' activity indicator has disappeared. Deemed unnecessary with the animation of loading on the left corner of each tab, where the favorite icon once the page is completely loaded.

Many users install the extension Classic theme restaurateur.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
But I don't think it will turn out to be along term solution. As users begin to install other extensions, I think they're going to face compatibility issues where the new extension "expects" the user to use what Firefox is come with - not the 'retro' functions

  • How to remove the download button located next to my home button? I continue to by clicking on it when I want the House and it's annoying.

How to remove the download button located next to my home button?

You can use customization feature to move it to a less irritating location. I suggest the bar the module if you keep this poster.

Start customizing with one of these, and then drag the arrow to a new location, or in the dialog box to remove all the bars:

    • Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > customize
    • Press the Alt key > menu view > toolbars > customize

You will notice that some combined controls separate in the view to customize. If you put something between them, they will not be able to recombine. (For example, if you separate stop and reload or put something between front/rear and area URL.)

  • reload the page current icon flashes black to pale gray?

Reload current page icon contiually flashes, it will sometimes when you close the browser, then align to the top. I wonder if something is not compatible?

This is related to the JavaScript, but I can't understand what the blinking cursor. It grows only on JavaScript-heavy Web sites. Examples include http://www.nytimes.com.

My suspicion is that there are some types of waiting for AJAX call floating around, but the mark button to reload flashing trying to communicate is not clear. The cursor flashes constantly at you, but does not tell you what it means, what he wants or expects you to do.

I can't find any documentation on what this feature (?) bug (?) is supposed to be. It would be good to document or provide a message to info-bubble/overview by telling the user which means in fact the blinking cursor. I would dig through your bugzilla system, journal/publication of change notes, but I can't know when the change was introduced and backlog of Firefox dev docs is GARGANTUAN, and it's just little boring.

A Firefox developer can answer this question and tell us what really means the button reload flashing?

In addition, I want to emphasize what seems to indicate to users that they should "reset to firefox to default settings /" is an unacceptable answer. I have a specific configuration for my address bar, button bar, the menu bar, tab bar area, and I like it like that. One of the reasons why I like Firefox is because it allows me to customize such things. Telling me to nuke and suffer with the default settings of focus-group-tested is garbage. No thanks. This isn't a solution.

  • Stupid question, I know, but after years of use of Firefox, on this one I can not find the icon of reloading the Page? Help, please.

In the past, when I refresh a page, I just went to page reload icon in the toolbar. On the new version, I can't have the icon charge.
