Remains after uninstalling software C3180

Windows XP home SP3

I uninstalled the printer C3180 and removed from printer settings and files removed manually from HP, but at startup, I get 3 messages as follows:-

«"Windows cannot find C:\PROGRAM HP IMAGING\BIN\HPQTRA08."» EXE ".

«"Windows cannot find C:\PROGRAM FILES\HEWLITT - Packard HP SOFTWARE UPDATE\HPWUSCHD2."» EXE ".

"" Windows cannot find C:\PROGRAM FILES\HP\HPCORETECH\HPCMPMGR. "" EXE ".

Can anyone tell me please where I can find what appeals to these executables and how to stop them?

Kind regards

Rog.

Once again, thanks a lot for your response Bob.

I seems to have cured the problem. As is often the case, that it was all down to the stupid user rather than an eccentric system. I forgot to remove these exes of starting grid of "Win Patrol."

Thanks for the tip on the files on the disc to instal and I apologize if I caused unnecessary work.

Best regards

Rog.

    Yes, you said that... :)

In Support of Comodo Forums, there are many, many uninstall problems which go back several years and go on for pages and pages and pages - try things, perhaps, could be, could be, etc.

Some type AV programs have their own special uninstall tools.  I don't know whether or not the Comodo.  I checked my notes and I don't have to Cómdo.

When uninstall fail, some people have luck with this product:
    http://www.GlarySoft.com/products/utilities/absolute-uninstaller/

Some people seem to reinstall everything and then try again to uninstall, and sometimes it market.

I found this link on their forums that has a few Comodo uninstall ideas:

    https://support.Comodo.com/index.php?_m=Knowledgebase&_A=viewarticle&KBArticleID=10

If none of this works, you can continue this Comodo problem in their forums.  Tell them you found this BSOD, here is my info, here is my report discharges BSV, etc. and how uninstall you Comodo, during the uninstallation has failed?  Clearly your BSOD come from their product.

I hope you understand that I am not a great help because I do not use Comodo and won't install to try to understand why it does not uninstall it and what to do about it.

Right now, I would say that you have a problem with Comodo - is not an XP problem.

If the links above do not help, I would take it to them in their forums, where they have the Comodo product experts who work on this stuff throughout the day.

After uninstalling VS2008 ControlCenter4 software crashes. It is loaded on startup and block every time. Have also tried to prevent bootload and load it manually after Finnish startup.

I have uninstalled several times without success. I tried CCleaner and manually deleted files remaining after uninstall.

I know that it's related to something in Windows, something is in conflict. I just created a virtual machine running on the same host computer. Installed the software Brother here and it works fine as if it were on the host computer before uninstalling VS2008.

If anyone knows what this could be please help. I know of course that a complete reinstall of windows the problem will be solved. But it is not wanted because of the time and effort required, there is also no guarantee against this problem re-intervene and then I would like to know how to easily fix it again (if possible).

Thanks for the support. To see that 'Monitor alerts ink' was a job. Without success. It does not appear in the startup routine. The quickest way was to download free software called «For Windows startup Inspector» This program finds the hidden routine so that not even a PI he would get. • I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart

I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart it.

I use windows xp on my host computer and all computers in my client. After that I uninstalled the free trial NIS version and restart my host, I lost the internet connection. Tried to restore with the restoration of the system, but when I restarted it, it said the system restore could not be made. I changed it then with my laptop and I can connect to the internet as the host.

    Hello

This can happen if the uninstall process fails and leaves behind a Symantec registry value. See the following Symantec article.

Unable to connect to the Internet after uninstalling Norton AntiVirus.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/NAV.nsf/8d071816eedd7cac88256c0e005a96e5/751c3298ab99cf7188256d34006702e2?OpenDocument

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Re: Satellite U300 - optical drive is no longer registered after uninstall of prog

    Hello

Recently, I uninstalled a program for a DV camera on my Satellite U300. After uninstalling, I'm more able to use the optical drive. If I put a cd/dvd in the drive, it will be "launch" However he scored not with laptop computer in order to play. I tried the diagnostic test, but he jumps right in front of the optical drive as if it were not there.

A software driver to uninstall also deleted for the optical drive, and, if so, is there anyway for me to get/download the driver without a full recovery losing all others is installed on the machine?

    Any received much notice!

    Hello

Optical reader is present in Device Manager? If so, then remove it and restart your machine. After that, the player must be reinstalled automatically.
If this isn't the case, then perform a check of the complete registry with some cleaning of recording software.

    Then make the first step.

If this is not enough, then it would be best to restore your machine...

  • How to uninstall software distribution service 3.0

HOW TO UNINSTALL software distribution service 3.0

    Why would you do that?

    You use Microsoft Security Essentials?

If you see Restore Points in your system restore calendar who say:

    Software Distribution Service 3.0

Restore Points see you who belong to the Distribution of software Service (SDS) and are created when Windows Update detects something to do.

Windows Update will download the updates in the folder c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution and once the download is complete, and at the start of the installation of updates (automatically or stop or manually - depending on your configuration) a new SDS Restore Point is automatically created before updates are installed.  After that the SDS Restore Point is created, then the updates are installed.  It works this way so you can still use a Restore Point to go back to a previous time before the updates were installed.

The updates could be the usual things like updates to security updates of the operating system XP, patch, or if you are running Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) and it will update its definitions, you will see a restore SDS everytime MSE Point updates (because it is considered as an update from MS).

If you run MSE, you see a Restore Point of your configuration / SDS each day or more a day depending on suite how often updates come out.   The appearance of these SDS Restore Points can be worrying if you don't know what they mean, but you can always find what it means if one needs to solve a problem.

If you run MSE, expect to see the restoration of the SDS shows up every day or so and that, usually just means that your MSE got an update (not a problem).

Now do you really want to uninstall your SDS 3.0?

  • Super slow computer after uninstalling programs...

I recently had strange problems with my system. They include:

    • Before, when I left my computer for a bit, it goes into sleep mode and displays my screensaver. Now, instead of showing my screensaver, it only shows my wallpaper. Nothing else. No internet browsing software, no icons. My paper just painted. There are a few times when my screensaver appears but only about 1 in 5 times.
    • I put my computer to ask me a password when I wake. But the password dialog box is not displayed when I move the mouse. I have to enter Ctrl + Alt + Del to force the dialog box to appear. I'm positive, I put my computer so that I don't have to use Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but it does not work. And sometimes the command does not work yet. I can stay there and keep only typing for an hour and nothing would happen.
    • Programs to take a long time to start. Microsoft Word used to load in 1 or 2 minutes, but now I have to wait 5-10 minutes.
    • Web pages take a long time to load. It should take only a few seconds at most, but now it takes a few minutes for a page to load. I don't have the best Internet service but I am sure that shouldn't be that slow. 3 weeks, everything worked fine. Last week, all these problems began to occur. I changed my ISP 5 months ago and the Internet was going well so far. I tried to clear my cache, delete my history and cookies, but nothing works.
    • I use Google Chrome as my browser, and when I try to search something in the Omnibox (aka the address bar), it takes forever to load. I have to go to www.google.com and type my search in there. My default search provider is Google, but I don't understand why the site works very well but is not the address bar.
    • On Facebook, I can't comment on, such as updates, see all the comments on a post, or see my notifications. When I click the button I like or click on "View all comments" on a post, it does nothing. I click a few times more, but it does nothing. The same thing happens when I click on my Notifications at the top. Nothing happens. And when I click on the chat on the bottom bar to see who is online. No effect. Is this something to do with Java? I have the latest version of Java, Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Flash.
These problems started occurring just after that I uninstalled a few programs on my computer. They were in a few games and The Weather Channel Desktop App. If anything, uninstall programs should make my computer faster; no more slow. I have AVG antivirus installed and I've scanned my computer already and I have not all infections.
I use Windows XP and have the latest Service Pack installed (it was 4 SP...?). My computer is somewhat old (I got it in 2005). I have a HDD AMD with maximum capacity of 40 GB. 1.70 GHz Intel Celron processor and about 220 MB of RAM then that I write this. It is quite old compared to new laptops nowadays (they have 400 GB Intel hard drives with 4 GB of RAM).

I have AVG would eliminate for a while and see how things seem to be of course use their uninstaller from here:

    http://www.Avg.com/us-en/utilities

You can always reinstall AVG later if yo have to do (I don't would be not so constrained).

If you are worried about an infection, disconnect the Internet after uninstalling AVG, then see how to open your Word documents and other features with AVG off the image.

If you are worried about not having protection AV install Microsoft Security Essentials .  MSE completed with MBAM and SAS is pretty good protection and has low overhead.

If she was not so freakin ' complicated to upload a screenshot here, it would be nice to see the Manager of tasks sorted by the CPU column) descending) when the system malfunctions.

Maybe someone will post this link on how to do that - I never found and it makes me sick to even read.  I am spoiled to work in the Big Boy forums where things such as viewing the screenshots are just a click away...

    Here's one way:

To create and send/post/print capture screen or a screenshot:

Press the Print Scrn button to copy your entire screen to the Windows Clipboard.

Press Alt Print Scrn to copy the active window to the Windows Clipboard.

    Open MS Paint:

    Start, programs, accessories, paint

When the painting opens, press CTRL + V to paste the Clipboard, save the new file in paint on your desktop or somewhere that you remember.  JPG files take up less disk space than BMP files and are just as readable.

Make screen captures as much as you want.  Practice makes perfect.  Make sure that your screenshot does not contain personal information.  Practice the visualization of your images before you send them to make sure they agree.

Some sites will allow you to attach a file directly on your post, but not the MS Answers forums.  If the site has a sort of piece attachment/upload function it is usually easier just to use it.

If there is no such function in your forum to download files, then use a third-party free hosting site WWW image.

Create a free account on some free photo hosting website.  You can always delete your account later if you wish.  Here are some free image hosting sites:

    http://www.imageshack.us/
    http://Photobucket.com/
With your free account, download your screenshot (s) (JPG or BMP files) on the site and it is up to you to a URL (Direct link) for your new images that you can paste the link directly in the post message, e-mail, etc.

Send this web address link live here in your answer, and we can click on the address of the link and see your screenshot.  After as many times as you need - the sites are free.

When you are finished, the link that you post here should look like this my poor system:

  • Reduce the sensitivity of mouse wheel after uninstalling update 'Microsoft Hardware - USB Mouse'

Windows Update was recently offered an optional update: «Microsoft - pointing drawing - Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse» I installed this patch, which added some IntelliPoint software to my system (customizing button etc.) I decided that I have need this additional software, since I am fine with the default mouse feature. I uninstalled successfully this software from the applet "Programs and features" in the Panel.

However, this software has left an unpleasant side effect: it has increased the sensitivity of wheel mouse at a very high value. Even if I go in the mouse settings in the control panel and reduce the sensitivity of the mouse wheel at least - 1 line by notch - the wheel is still too sensitive. It scrolls a half page by notch.
So, how can I restore normal mouse wheel functionality after uninstalling IntelliPoint software? How can I reduce the sensitivity of the wheel in the situation when it is already out there, at least in the mouse applet in the control panel?

    Hi Andrey,

This problem may occur because you uninstall the IntelliPoint software before you change the default mouse settings.

I recommend to install the IntelliPoint software and then try to change the mouse settings and check if it helps.

    Help!

Can you please try to install Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.

If this does not work then the safest course would be to remove all Adobe Creative Software using the uninstaller programs located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  This should then remove the Adobe Application Manager folder also within public services.  Once the software is completely uninstalled and Adobe Application Manager is deleted, then you should be able to reinstall it from https://creative.adobe.com/.
