  If you mean the one where Safari click the links blocks, there is currently no solution. There are several suggested workaround solutions, but not yet final solution.

  The best choice at this point, is to use another browser.   Google Chrome you will open links in new tabs by pressing them, but does not directly open on the same tab.

  The Opera browser application seems completely non-affected and my experience was able to open all the links properly.

  Hi Barry,.

  MSE is not the cause.  I suspect two things.  One, some ports in the firewall must be enabled to access the internet (your ISP should be able to tell) or you use a wrong port which is not activated, while the is correct.

  Second, you set up like a dial instead of a connection to the local network through the router (which must also be configured and secured if there is no wireless capability), and then the LAN must be connected to the internet.  Essentially, your network configuration is incorrect and must be corrected.  As a general rule, all you need to do is contact your ISP technical support and if you walk through the process over the phone.

  That's how I would handle it because even the experts here is perhaps not able to determine the appropriate settings for your ISP gave your versions of Windows and brands of routers and modems (and everything that needs to be connected).  They lose your business if you can't connect, and they have people who simply as for a life - often 24/7 - they are generally useful and really good in this.

  Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

  In Internet Explorer 8, the Auto complete option is in a new tab.  Go to tools, Internet Options and then click the content tab.  You will see a section that says "Auto-Complete".  Click on the 'Settings' button and it gives you several choices of auto complete options.
