  My guess is that you have some sort of loop that adjusts the _alpha to brighten up that is like this:

  {myButton.onRollover = function ()}

  {this.onEnterFrame = function ()}

  This ._alpha += 10;

  }

  }

  And you do not have a conditional to say, "when alpha reaches 100 stop adding more."

  So what caught, is that the alpha value goes about 100 and when it comes to something like 2 ^ 15 it surrounds and becomes a negative number unbelievably low. If you wait a few minutes, it should eventually return to positive values!

  Of course, the best bet would be to put in some conditional control statements he's not above/below 100/0.

  If I understand correctly, you cannot open some files of numbers even from backups, but others continue to work. To limit this problem, I would suggest starting with the following steps:

  1. first of all, run disk utility and check for questions on your hard drive, as hard drive problems can lead to situations like yours.

  2. then, you can test this in a new user, to refine, if it's a question broad system or specific to your username.

  I have recently restored OS X from a backup, the same (current) version of the numbers and I use the same files (one document, different versions tried), but since I only get the error message "... cannot be opened for some reason any."

  I found absolutely no fix or solution floating around the web this fix in my case. I tried 3 machines, different, another user account fresh installation, conversion/dissemination/export the file, number in iOS and iCloud - nothing.

  This document contains the data value of several MONTHS of work and is encrypted password. It's just an unacceptable loss.

  Does anyone know another way to recover the data?

  There is nothing on the face of the planet to open a document from v3.6.1 numbers once you get 'Document.numbers' cannot be opened for a dialogue of reason. Be it password protected, or not makes no difference. Your only hope is to get a copy of older backup and restore. The same thing happens in the current versions of Pages v5.6.n also.

  Any other spreadsheet application would have not done this for you.

  Thank you. When I went back to look at the version that I realized that I've changed my default to the reader. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. So I changed my default and I'm good to go.

  Hi Dick,

  Change the extension (.csv or .txt) is not any change in the type of file.

  Assuming that, since you posted in the numbers for the Mac community and state what version 3.6.1 a number you're on a Mac (and not using iOS 8 on your iPad), you can try opening the file using LibreOffice or Apache OpenOffice. Both are free to download and use. If none of them opens the file, it is probably corrupted. If they can open the file, there may be a compatibility problem between this file and the numbers. Try registering LibreOffice or Apache OpenOffice (like a MS Excel file), then try opening thaat version saved in number.

  Windows backup is not installed by default on XP Home.  You can install it if you have a genuine Windows XP CD or if you download the full network for SP2 installation file: http://www.ntbackup.us/Articles/install-ntbackup-xp-home.htm

  I suggest, however, that you not install NTBackup, but rather get a cloning/disk imaging application.  What follows is not free, but you get what you pay for.  NTBackup has some limitations (on the one hand, you cannot use NTBackup to backup to the optical media).  NTBackup also is not used in Vista or Windows 7, but after much kicking and screaming, Microsoft made a utility to restore NTBackup for Vista and Win 7 for computers with these operating systems could at least read BKF files created by NTBackup.

Everything as expected and well centered on all browsers even IE9. , I then created a fresh new page index.html. I then attached or applied the model to the new index.html page. Now, here's the problem.

  For some reason any in IE 9, the page is no longer centres and appears on the left. When I process of elimination and took off the model. The centres page then in IE9. Looks like I have problems with making templates in Dreamweaver. Is this a known problem or is it just happening to me? Problems with IE9 with that?

  All of you who have this same problem. Here is the solution.

  1. Open the .dwt file, and then open the properties of the page.
  2. Go to the section of title/encoding
  3. Modify the HTML 5 XHTML Transitional 1.0
  4. Press OK
  5. Make sure that html doc is also recorded.
  6. Now, it should be centered.
  7. Now return to the .dwt file and reopen the page properties
  8. Go to the section of title/encoding
  9. Back to XHTML 1.0 Transitional HTML 5.
  10. You are now ready to go.
