  Just bought a NEX-6. The Smart Remote application is the reason why I bought the camera in the hope that, with a future update to the app NEX-6 and 5R can not only turn the trigger but also switch VIDEO! Currently, even when the Smart remote control app is running, even if you manually press the video record on the camera button it gives a warning saying "video not available when running this application. Please leave app to record video.

  For some reason sony has decided to leave the video feature switches the NEX-6 and 5R. After closer investigation I noticed that the other camera to use PlayMemories Mobile apps is the Sony Action Cam.

  Cam Action also uses the PlayMemories application in the same way as the smart remote control application, but he is able to turn on/off the camera video. In addition to setting other parameters such as EV and interval shooting.

  Now, I know that the Action is primarily a video camera and it obvioustly need to toggle the video but I don't see why Sony has ruled out this possibility for the NEX-6 and 5R because they all use the same wifi technology and the same APPS!   The only way to turn the video recording remotely at this point is to buy the Sony NEX Remote control version 2 that comes out.

  The reason why I want to toggle the video from the camera app is so that anyone can use tablet or a cell phone as a monitor of affordable directors for when the game etc.

  Have you tried the Sound class computeSpectrum() method? Since flash V9.x, it can calculate the spectrum on RTMP. The link to the API has a complete example that makes a wave form. It calculates a value between-1.0 and 1.0 for the values 512, 256 for the left and right channels 256.

Simply to group a bunch of values and therefore one that shows the average of the values to simplify. for example, 4 bar uses the average of the values of 0-64, 65-128, 129-192, 193-256 for the left channel...   The files are not really deleted until they are crushed (although they are no longer available through conventional methods).  A full system recovery crushes a large number of files.  If you decide to try these recovery programs, you should stop using your drive hard immediately in order not to replace more data you want to retrieve.  He slave on another PC and launch the recovery of this PC.  Even now you have definitely lost some of them if you use the same PC and as a result of the recovery.  If you can not do this (slave on another PC), you run the risk of overwriting the data with every action you do on the PC (but you may still be able to recover some or most or even all files - it's a matter of luck).

  Well Yes.  been like this for always. We were told years ago 'by design '. MS wanted people to use the Media Center Extender units to take advantage of the WMC remote interface. Users asked a computer Extender and MS say no (by not putting implement this). As you know, you can not open DRM would be content using the Windows Explorer, including videos. Sorry to be the Messenger (again) with bad news.

  Welcome to the community of Sony!

  Unfortunately, you can not view videos recorded wireless using your mobile device. You can transfer videos on your iPad, but only if they are saved in the format. Mp4 format AVCHD files can be transferred wireless to a tablet or a smartphone. Enable the video double setting Rec to shoot AVCHD and Mp4 format at the same time.

  You can only use the transfer of photos and AVCHD videos wireless when you download Wireless Auto Import (for Mac) and the House of PlayMemories.
