Removal of Beats Audio

My company recently purchased a HP Envy.  I am unable to hear anything, even if the internal speakers are 100%.  I have Windows 8 and tried to 'uninstall' audio Beats - it seems to be something... but, alas, Beats audio is still there & I still don't hear anything.  If this has been answered somewhere else for my specific computer & OS, I am sorry not to see.

  • How to completely remove Beats Audio from my system?

My computer is a number of product p7-1534, H2N63AA #ABA, running 64-bit Windows 8.1.  The audio driver was an IDT, downloaded directly at HP, specifically planned for my system.  I'm trying to figure out how to completely remove the Beats Audio from my system.  It appears in the Beats Audio, but don't control panel displays in the section programs, so I can't figure out how to uninstall IT... or it can be uninstalled without uninstalling the entire driver?  I tried to disable the Beats Audio screen and it cleared more of the effect it has on the audio, but not all - the bass is still substantially stronger than it should be.  All I want is for the music to sound just as it was initially recorded in the studio, not artificially enhanced by Beats Audio.

I think that I'm finally rid of him.  I searched drive C for 'beats' and 'beat' and erased all those who appear to be associated with the Beats Audio.  I had to do that three times, each time by removing all tht files Beats appeared in a search.  Finally, after the third startup, nothing showed up in the search.  My audio works just fine and no more Beats Audio.  I guess I could still run beats through the motherboard, but, as long as I don't try to run beats, it loads is no longer automatically at startup.

    Thanks for your time.

  • HP Envy 17 t j100: deleting Beats Audio

    Hello.

I searched the forum and followed the instructions to remove the Beats Audio crapware.  Unfortunately, after removing it reinstalls itself.

    The instructions are:

    • Press Windows + R.
    • Type msconfig and click OK.
    • Click the Startup tab.
    • Uncheck the IDT Audio from PC.  It is not possible on 8.1 - can only disable
    • Click apply.
    • Reset.
    • Press on Windows + R.
    • Type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK.
    • Expand sound, video and game controllers.
    • Right click on IDT device and click Uninstall
    • Select the check box to remove the driver.
    • Reset

So I did all that with the change in red.  The next time that I restarted, IDT reinstalls itself and beats audio is still active.

What is strange, is that the Audio driver IDT High Def showing is a product of Ms.  Bat is not.  But there are a lot of SRS DLLs listed.   I don't know how many of these problems are related to hardware and how is 8.1.  I got beats on my computer Windows 8 with no problems.  But all of a sudden with this new computer running 8.1, I can't change anything.   Well this is not true, I can change everything and restart seems to reset at the front.

Thanks for any help.  I'm trying to get Asio4All to work, but it is apparently not compatible with Beats, that causes the problem.  And Asio work is much more important to me than the beats.

    Thank you

    Hi there @dzilizi,

I understand that you want to remove with Beats Audio from your system. I'm happy to help you.

In Notepad HP Beats Audio edition, Beats Audio software is part of the IDT Audio driver. You can try to remove your current IDT driver and install a compatible version not Beats Audio. Or you can use the generic operating system driver.

I found a beautiful little youtube video which shows a method to do this. HP laptop: Disable Beats Audio Driver

  • M6 n010dx - Beat Audio never really turns off, terrible audio compression

I have re-installed audio drivers several times.

    Beats Audio never turns off.

I can uncheck the box, and if the sound is less full, adjusting the sliders on the rockers in the Beats Audio effects the sound.

In addition, the sound is very compressed no matter what. Listen to a song file FLAC with headphones on my phone without equalizers and listen to them on my laptop with headphones, the difference is obvious. I have no idea why this would happen or how to turn off.

  • Beats Audio Control Panel has been removed from my PC after update audio driver.

Pavilion dv7-6052er (Windows 7 x 64). Beats Audio Control Panel has been removed from my PC after update audio driver.
Tried to reinstall manually with 6.10.6345.0 version (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55094.exe) and another randomly chosen by some. Nothing has worked.
    My actions:
    1. remove the driver and its software.
    2 restart the computer.
3 Windows Installer some driver after reboot (I can't disable or cancel installation)
    4 reinstall the driver.
    5 restart my computer.
Just after the start of Windows driver trying to implement something else (or to continue installation), but it causes an error: _Error: Error = error Undefined...
Tried to do without step 2 - to reinstall the driver right after having been deleted - without success.
Tried to remove the driver and then restore an old via Recovery Manager - Beats audio control panel is displayed but there is no sound at all!
I think I tried all possible combinations of actions. Beats Audio Control Panel works without noise and noise without BACP. But never together.
Please help me with some advice. Thank you.

Hey guys! Tried once more to remove the driver and install it with the Recovery Manager. Don't know how, but this time it worked.

In fact I've disappointed with HP updates, won't be tester for you. I'm tired of these bugs after updates (utility Cool sense, Beats Audio etc.).

Turn off automatic updates on my PC, seems I don't need your "improvements".

My new laptop of Beats Audio HP Pavilion m7 is not a manager of Beats Audio, but it doesn't have a weird white icon with a V on the side black that says "* IDS_SYSTRAY_TOOLTIP". When I click on, I get nothing useful, and giant text appears on my screen, that I can't remove, unless I restart ("Please click on a site to start or enter the first letters to search.")

This woman has a similar problem (found in a forum announcement):

    Hello

It seems that the sound driver is not correctly configured, then try the following.  (Note: even if the message refers to the ID, the offending Installer is the codec IDT audio just be confusing )

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp57501-58000/sp57966.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When finished, restart the computer and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  • HP Envy: Beats Audio drivers

    Hello

Due to a defect in software re Windows 10, I had to install a new hard drive in my laptop. I didn't have a recovery disk installed Windows 10 again from scratch.

I've noticed that the audio only, which seems to me comes from an external monitor. My laptop came with Beats Audio, but the laptop does not recognize it.

I wonder if I need to download a driver for it but I can't seem to find anything on the site of HP.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Download the latest driver realtek audio that should address and don't forget to edit your post and remove the product number and never give in public.

  • ENVY 17 j141nr: Beats Audio driver gone

I had problems with my upgrade for Windows 10 of 8.1 and the fix was to re - install Windows from a boot disk. Now that I did, the re - install appears to have removed all my for Beats Audio and a few other drivers (HP drivers for my biometric scanner, etc.). I'm not entirely sure where to go to download these drivers, or if they work with Windows 10.

    Details:

My computer will play sound on the speakers by the pad, but the Beats loudspeakers above the keyboard do not play good at all.

I have reset the audio driver, but the Beats Audio driver is not found.

You can download the drivers from this link:http://www8.hp.com/us/en/drivers.html.

Note: If you can not find the drivers for windows 10 right now from this support site, you can download and install the drivers for windows 8.1.Most of them works also with windows 10.

You will get Beatsaudio driver & software automatically when you install Realtek Audio Driver.

[You can also get drivers from windows update, but you won't find that all Windows update]

  • Audio fluctuations with Beats Audio on 15p045nd. In the case of any IDT devices.

    Hello

I got boring fluctuating audio on my new 15p045nd with beats audio. It seems that if there is some kind of current compression. Or its a sort of gizmo "loudness" automatic  Well, what kind of bat 'Optimize' this sucks... I get rid of him? Its incredibly bad.

I looked in the forum to see if any of the threads audio beats would help me... I have not yet found an answer.

I read the thread where grand-deku-three presents its solution, but alas, I don't seem to have an IDT... must be because I have different hardware/drivers/controlpanelthingies... anyway...

Is there a way to uninstall audio beats?

Can I disable any function for this?

    Thank you!

    Hello support HP Agent.

No, sorry... did not help. I already said I tried everything.

I do not have a device such IDT mentioned previously.

What works however was a conversation with a support agent. We got to the next solution.

Remove the audio device in the hardware Manager, reboot.

Control Panel audio always fluctuating, but no more beats.

Start HP Recovery Manager, go to install the drivers and applications. Select Realtek High Definition Audio Driver and install.

After this installation and after charging my problem has been fixed.
