  Two days ago, I was able to change my Photoshop brush size and hardness by dragging my mouse while pressing ctrl + alt on my Mac, but today it no longer works. I reset all my settings and also the Brush tool, but it will not work. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

  You are right! HyperDock has effectively hijacked the shortcut. After uninstalling it, everything has worked again.

  I just installed Lightroom 5.7 on a laptop MSI Windows 8.1.

  The "-" key does not decrease the size of the grid, and or not clicking on the field to "reduce the size of the grid" in the "View" menu

  Unfortunately, 'increase the size of the grid' worked and now I'm stuck with just two images in my view of the grid.

  Yes, thank you - I didn't even know there is a slider on the toolbar, but it does not work at least.

  The grid down size menu item should also work, so I'd like to get it fixed somehow, but at least I now have a usable grid.

  I m read in a csv table and put in a primary database (DB_QUEUE)
  and several secondary databases (DB_BTREE). I m using the Berkeley DB 4.7
  for with C++. For the primary database, I let the standart for the secondary cache size
  databases that I want to use 16 MB:

  dry [*] are the secondary databases
  and the size of the cache is set before you open databases.
  The problem is when I run the program it allocates more memory.

  You can open all databases in a unique environment, with just a cache? Happens usually better, because Berkeley DB can share the cache based on access patterns.

  That said, an increase in size of the memory can be caused by a leak of any where in the application - it may have nothing to do with the cache of Berkeley DB. Have all of the tools that could help track where the memory is allocated? If you're on Linux, valgrind (http://valgrind.org) is great for this sort of thing.

  Have Windows 7 home - 64. Been using Lexmark X 5650 printer successfully several times. Now only print black and white photos.  Also a part of any page I want to copy will be printed, only in B & W.  Sizes does not correctly... and a lot of ink color & black.  Tried all the suggestion of Mr. Fixit, nothing helps.  Help please!

• my new Firefox worm 29 always starts maximized how do I set the size of the window and not expanded?

  I guess you checked if the Tablet has been properly connected to the docking keyboard.

  Have you tried to unplug and plug the docking again?
  Note: there is a latch on the left you have to move and in order to remove the tablet.

  Perhaps there is a connection problem.

  See if you can do throughout your adjustment menu reset at this time. Otherwise remove your battery and hold the power switch for at least 30 seconds and then insert the battery and try again.

  Also, try the reset all when in Auto mode of shooting first and make sure that you have not selected the WiFi reset all.

  The problem with my CD player seems to be unique I can't find an answer, or someone else with the same problem online.

  My computer is custom built, the CD player lasted me 1.5 years no problem, not until one day I realize, it does not open and the light does not work on it, I ordered a new drive and installed that one, still does not work. so, I replaced the SATA cable which connects to the motherboard, still does not.

  When I go to my computer the drive appears but when I right click > eject it says: "year error occurred while ejecting CD drive D".  It also appears in devices such as SCSI CdRom Device Manager but I am not sure if it's actually my CD player.

  I also tried troubleshooting http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems and no solution.

  WTFFF ideas? I really hope that its not the motherboard

  There are two cables you need to connect to the drive, one for data and one for power.  You must connect both training at work.  If you only have the data cable is plugged and not cable power which would be a possible cause of the problem that you see.

On some web site when trying to enter a password, the keyboard does not work until you double click of the mouse on the registration form. This on two different systems of windows 7.   Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
  • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
