  I am an existing Member of creative cloud with cs6 apps installed through creative cloud on my PC. I don't want two versions (I want both cs6 and cc) - so I want to remove my machines cs6.

  My question is - is better first to remove apps from cs6 creative cloud of my machine and install cc creative cloud applications, or should I install cc creative cloud apps then uninstall cloud creative cs6 apps?

  Or... isn't it important?

  bobba1, CS6 and CC are two separate applications. Thus, it is irrelevant at all, how or in what order uninstall you.

  If you do not want to keep both of them, you can install CS6, maybe after or before installing CC, your choice.

  It is the same with Lightroom.

  No need, but feel free to do so. Run the Creative Suite cleanup tool after uninstalling just to be sure...

  When you install a PC I find my self install a program, restarting and doing so over and over again. Is it safe to install a few programs at a time before restart? This would cause problems? A plane ticket, few programs do not ask to reboot once installed, so I usually install a little more to save time and then restart.

  It is better to restart after the installation of all programs before installing more just in case where some files take effect to restart.

  I also always check to make sure that the program that I installed and running before installing more. By doing this, if you have problems, you will know which program is causing the problem.

  This apparent lack of information and the constructive knowledge becomes a frustrating feature of Adobes. When I signed up, I had not anticipated the possibility of having two versions of the software on my system; Adobe is very naughty!

  Yul101 I would recommend you proceed with this inquiry of product specific forums you use.  In general, I would recommend leaving the old installed versions in the case of software that is essential for me to use on a daily basis.  He'll probably be a bit of a learning curve that get used you to the new workflows.  More if you use third-party plug-ins then you will want to contact the manufacturer to make sure that they are compatible with the current version of the CC of the software.

  I have a stand-alone copy of CS6 on my computer, but think a Cloud creative unique Ap Illustrator subscription. I have not previously participated to subscriptions, so am new to all aspects of it. There will be conflict in download, installation and future functioning if the autonomous CS6 and the subscription of the CC of the Illustrator are on the same computer (Win 8.1, 64-bit)?  Should I remove the stand-alone CS6 to avoid problems?

  You can continue your CS6 either, no interference.

• Forced into disconnected just after the connection before installing what

  I just installed the creative cloud (trial for lR) on Mac OS X Yosemite (iMac 27 ", the Safari browser) and after trying to open a session, Nothing has changed, the program appears to load, after 20 seconds and then, I was told that I was disconnected. Weird, never been connected.

  

  I have already deleted, of course, the opm.db twice and creative cloud rebooted and reinstalled several times. And Yes, my Adobe ID works correctly when connecting the browser.

  Someone an idea? If it comes to creating new cloud LR performance I didn't get one more step and stick to my good old LR4.

  Marga, if you want to keep the CS 6, you can. There is no need to uninstall. However, if you don't need you can uninstall it.

  I currently have VISTA 32 - bit OS (SP 2) on a gateway FX - 541S; Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q6600 (2.40 GHz, 1066 Hz FSB, 8 MB cache); 3072 MB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and a 700 w power supply.  I have Office 2007, which is probably the 32-bit, so it seems I have to upgrade to Office 2010.

  Better do you after installing. Once installation is complete, then turn off and put in new RAM. Check the properties of the computer to see if the 8 GB is used (chances are that Windows 7 hardware reserves some of the memory). And you don't have to upgrade to 64 - bit for the Office, 32-bit applications are compatible with 64-bit Windows in most cases. Only difference is that 64-bit applications have been designed for 64-bit Windows, so performance will be better (you may not notice it however).
