  I hope that the groups are coming to the people app - as on Windows Phone. Then, you could group the contacts you care together in groups such as the friends and family (and PIN groups at the start screen).

  Open the contacts app click on the upper left dropdown 'Contacts' and go to preferences and accounts. Click in the list of accounts on Yahoo. Then click on remove account. This will remove only the synchronization of contact from yahoo. You will always have yahoo mail and schedule synchronizations.

  I think to do what you open your app and then find your contact and type and open, and then click the contacts tab in the upper left corner.  It should be an option to delete the contact from the Launcher.  I hope this helps.

  Start Contacts (it's the E3 version)

  (1) and then click the Central icon on the top of the screen

  (2) now press the 3 points down right

  (3) select "relish contact."

  4) press down left icon to select all contacts

  You should be on the "Contacts" tab, not the 'cats' tab when deleteng contact
