Remove the Addon savings

Hello

I have this addon EXTREMELY persistent malware, which of course, I did not want to install, and I have zero success getting rid of...

The name of the Addon is "Addon of savings." I uninstalled it through Control Panel and firefox, but still, the addon still appears when I surfed with Firefox... I did a search on the internet, but so far none of the visited Web sites ive seem to offer a solution that works (at least for me)

If anyone can help me I would be VERY Grateful

Jiveman

Try to delete "HDvid 3 Codec".

It can also be removed by AdwCleaner (link in this article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware).

Thanks for the help, but the problem seems to have been resolved when I noticed I had pinned the 32 bit IE to the taskbar instead of the 64-bit version. Once I have this marking the 32 and used the 64, problem disappeared. Hope this helps others.

  • How di I remove/delete old Java Console in the addon list?

How di I remove/delete old Java Console in the addon list?

go to "c:\program files\Mozilla Firefox extensions" or anywhere where you installed ff

you will find a few files

    Discover those starting with "{CAFEEFAC.

    {CAFEEFAC-0016-0000 -0023- ABCDEFFEDCBA}
It would be the version 6.0.23

    {CAFEEFAC-0016-0000 -0024- ABCDEFFEDCBA}
    version 6.0.24 and so on

Just delete the corresponding folder and restart firefox!

now for those who want to make sure that you remove the right thing:
inside these files, you will find a file called 'install.rdf '. Open it with Notepad. search for "em: name. You should find "Java Console".
OK, don't the module you think you are in the folder appropriate for java.
next step is to find the "em: version. This should give you "6.0.23" or something similar. If it's the old version not appearing in your add-ons Manager, then simply delete the corresponding {CAFEEFAC-file. you can do it even with ff ongoing enforcement, but must start again to dismiss the old writing.} If not, just check the others until you find the version you want to get rid of.

    hope this helps

    Cheers!

  • Why remove the only element used, the bar addons?

Why their v29 change log done said 'additional options', when the only thing that most of us see is deleted the options, including the most widely used single section: bar of the addon? I don't want to install an addon to display the bar of the addon, which is present from pre-Firefox Mozilla days. So why delete the single most used item? Done the previous CEO Pro-life as it too and the new direction isn't that? Looks like Firefox is going backward, not forward.

NO.... I'm not citing specific examples, but put MORE junk at the top after we are inundated with having TO use the tabs (which are redundant copies of windows below only cramped in to the top at the same time bar) bar, now I have 22 size icons and even drop my space window of text buttons lower in my workspace. It is not that the buttons/icons/addons don't work. (I swear to you that I don't know how people who work in support might need these detailed explanations) It is the fact that, to keep the premium screen, space open, to crush the tabs windows and Firefox destroyed this option. So we went with opening and closing of the bar of the addon whenever we need an add-on. Not to mention the addons as a certain addon Instagram that shows when new photos have arrived, or my safety bar that shows how much the ads and the sites have been blocked, as well as a mouse on display them separately in a concealed popout. Firefox developers are so stuck on their own crud they REALLY think that everyone has and uses on a Galaxy phone apps and crunches all icons like a 13 year old? Those of us who are older, more mature and use addons for something else than sharing photos... (as my Google Voice addon that does not work now to accept calls to open a bar and clicking on the icon until it accepts the click, oops dropped call or went to voicemail because you did not 3-ring)... Phone, Flash development, download videos from websites, eBay, Amazon shopping sales, torrents and each model of business platform has their own INHOUSE addon. You DESTROYED, DECIMATED, no. the model of less clicks is longer, for A SUPPOSEDLY SLIM BROWSER SIMPLIFIED! It's no wonder Execs of Firefox are clueless. Block us who care, our usage patterns and thus only the details on the use of the games for children under 15 to noticed by telemetry from FF.

The basic concept, delete something, at least that replace you it with something equality in employment and work.

Make users create a toolbar addon to replace the bar of the addon is stupid! Pointblank and simple.

Add more clicks to get to the new bar addon was stupid and dumber still was the destruction of a top level bar with a value of the space in the window by the new addon bar be an addon or a creation of the user between the Bookmark Bar and address bar. STUPID!

Finally, why is Firefox simplify anything. It is at the discretion of the user during the construction of its browser him or her self. That's what means be a modular browser. It is not Mr. potato head with only 4 types of eyes, nose and mouth. It's supposed to be a free canvas to work and create our idea of art works.

  • The addons on Firefox stopped, but they are all still turned on?

After you restart Firefox multiple times, it seems that some addons that I activated have stopped working, I have to say that all the addons are always enabled, but have stopped working. They are all updated and so is Firefox, they were compatible before restart me Firefox. Does anyone have an idea of what is happening and how to fix it? Thank you!

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions or is not compatible in "Firefox button/Tools menu > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button at the left end of the search bar to check if there is an update available compatibility.

If that didn't help then remove addons.json and possibly prefs.js in the case where there is a problem with preferences.

  • All the addons disabled themselves.

    Hi guys,.
My browser did weird stuff today and now all the addons are disabled with only one option to remove, select not. What the devil? I don't think that I'm not in Mode safe, as it is an option in the Help menu to get back with all the addons disabled. See attached screenshot for reference.

    Thank you
    Peter

I don't see another way to do, so I had to reinstall all extensions individually to get back them.

  • remove the development tools

I have tried everything I can find online, but I just can't help the developer tools to interfere when I type in a search, or type text on a web page.

I went to about: config and off each dev listed, still nothing changes.

Please tell me how to remove the tools from the developer of my computer

If Safe Mode works, which usually means that one of your extensions is the origin of the problem.

You can try to disable the more less frequent - Garmin and AVG - on the addons page. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, you can find the button disable for each of them.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

Which improves the behavior of Firefox?

It is also possible that the extension of the problem works great on its own, but interacts badly with a your plugins, so if you want to keep both of these extensions enabled, examine and disable unnecessary plugins.

Page modules, in the left column, click on Plugins. To disable a plugin, change its permission to "activate" to "never activate. You may need to open a new window (Ctrl + n) or exit and restart Firefox to see the effects of the change.

  • How to completely remove the add-on preferences?

"Toolbar buttons" extension buttons are displayed incorrectly (buttons in white). Reinstall it also restores the old settings with missing icons. How can I completely reset the extension data and preferences without resetting the other settings of firefox? (I tried to manually remove the file extension too - same result).

    [firefox v33.1.1]

If you open the topic: page config in the toolbar url and the search for the name of the old addons, you can remove entries from there.

Also try the Firefox Menu, and then clicking Customize. From here you can drag the icons off and it can record without addons

If this does not work, there is also a possibility of passage of the profile to another. Backup and restore Firefox profiles information

  • How to remove the search bar in a new tab window so that I can have nine tiles instead of only six?

I used to get nine tiles when I open a new tab. All of a sudden I get 6 votes against and a search bar at top. All attempts to remove the search bar failed. I tried to change the rows and columns in topic: config and I learned about the use of Ctrl/scroll to shrink the tiles to allow more screen. This is a dispute over what to happen. Is it possible to get rid of the search bar, or is it possible to get the nine tiles narrowed to arrive when I click on a new tab rather than having to scroll? Thanks for your help.

    Try this extension.

  • How to remove the navigation bar?

I used to be able to remove the navigation bar before update of today. But now he is no longer an apparent option to remove the navigation bar. I like to see several portrait pictures side by side, so have more vertical space in my window is important to me. The navigation bar is quite large, as well as the blue space around the tabs, and I wish to remove or reduce. I know how to disable the menu bar already.

Yes I know pressing f11 fullscreens an image. I use multiple monitors and want some pictures of great portrait orientation on one while I tap on the other. Is there a way to delete the temporarily navigation bar? This was one of my favorite features.

  • Why my addons occur is no longer on the bar of the addon?

I use the latest from BBC 1.31.1 addon which until a short time has always been present in the bar of my addon. I also just downloaded the addon Watch UK TV 1.46.1, but seems no more on the addonbar. The two addons are enabled (and both have been developed by Mike Redrobe).
Anyone know how to make them reappear? I have already tried to remove and reinstall to no avail. The addons have not finished on the Tools menu, and aren't in the personalization Control Panel. This problem is driving me crazy!
I have Windows 7 Home Premium and am currently using Firefox 27

Managed to fix it myself (I think I remember to do the same thing when the problem occurred once before):

Go to tools-> Options-> privacy. Choose "use the custom settings for history."
and 'Accept third-party cookies' (I don't think it really matter is you check other options or no).

    It worked for me.
