Remove the commas (-) of numbers entered by the user in a field

Hello world

How can I filter the commas of a number entered by a user into a text input field? I'm doing calculations with these numbers entered, but if the user enters a comma, I get "NaN" (not a number) as the result of what the user has entered.

I could prevent the user to enter commas in fields (I'm already restriciting enter letters and periods), but it would be nice if the user can always use commas.

the code I have so far is:

        q4input = q4_mc.q4_ans.text;

     q4_preCalc = (Number(q4input)*1000);
     trace(q4_preCalc);

Thanks in advance for your help.

Rafael.

Try:

q4input = q4_mc.q4_ans.text.replace (",", "");

  • Remove the user but not to revoke resources

    Hello

    I use oim 11g and have the following problem:
    When a user of the IOM is deleted, its resources are not deleted on the target systems.
    How can I fix?

    TKS

    Hi raraujo,

    usually the button remove a user removes the user and automatically revokes the resources associated with it.
    However, in a particular case (check MOS ID 1273720.1) when this IOM key just turns off the user and its resources pending for a period until finally delete the user and its resources.
    You have the game of 'Period of delay user remove' system property to a value non-zero? Maybe it's the reason for not having the deleted user and resources revoked.

    I hope this helps.

    See you soon,.

  • How to remove the user from the IOM by using Trusted Recon

    We trust Sun to IOM LDAP Recon. We delete usually old Sun LDAP users periodically. According to the requirement, these users should also be eliminated from IOM as well as all its databases that are put into service.

    Looks like that, the behavior by default of 'iPlanet Trusted remove user Recon Task' is to set the user status to 'Deleted' and 'Revoked' about the users corresponding IOM and resources put into service. How can I remove users from the IOM as well as the database placed in service in the case of user removed from Sun's LDAP?

    Thank you!
    Kabi

    Once a user is created in the IOM, you cannot remove it. As you said, the default behavior for the removal of the recon user approved is that the user will be disabled in IOM and revoked from all target applications. Revoke the user will remove the user from the target applications.

    This is done for the purpose of audit so that later we can determine which users have been removed or terminated.

    But as a you can manually delete the records of user database directly which is not recommended.

    Create an approval workflow and create a rule for the determination of the process like

    If
    Action request == "revoke".

    Attach this rule with RO.

    Hey sorry

    I shared information Revoking user of the target Application.

    Hide the button remove the user from JSP
    You can create a model with approval workflow resources to remove the user. And after getting the approval, you can use API DeleteUser to remove the user from the IOM.

  • How to save the custom of the user using PHP field?

    Hello!

    I am looking for a way to share specific data to the user between connected users. For example, all participants must know each other IDs (our own system IDs, no ACC).

    Custom user fields seems the best solution for this, but I can't find a way to save one using PHP, while creating the room.

    How to save the custom of the user using PHP field? Or maybe there's best solution to do such things?

    Had, just add the new node to the UserManager collection.

  • Satellite Pro L10: How to remove the user password

    Hello

    I work for a school and we have a bunch of laptops Satellite Pro L10. I put a supervisor on all laptops password think this problem would be solved (I didn't enter a password each time the machines are enabled), but one of our students seems to have found its way to the HWSetup utility in Control Panel and could save a user password on one of the laptops.

    Alarmingly there seems to be no way to clear the password of the user, even though I have the supervisor password. I can get the BIOS as a supervisor, but the definition of a user password option is grayed out. Can anyone provide a solution for my problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Well, I think that this problem could be solved by updating the BIOS to the version 2.60 or greater.
    But the problem is that the password has already been fixed.

    I read in the paper of Toshiba that all passwords must be removed before starting the BIOS updates.
    That's why I think it would be advisable to contact Toshiba service partner to remove first the user password, and then update the BIOS.

    You know it's very risky to update the BIOS of the device when the user or any password has been set.
    It of possible that the BIOS update procedure will be interrupted if the password exists.

  • How to remove the user account from the connection Start Page (therefore restart goes directly to the desktop without the need for any clickthru)?

    On my Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit system, all I had to do was to remove all the accounts (other than 'administrator') in addition to my login information main user account and remove the password of the Admin account and I use a main user account, and then whenever I reboot, reboot goes all the way to the Windows desktop (i.e. through it does not stop with a cover page showing the user account).

    -It does not seem that this approach works for my Vista SP2 Business Edition 32 bit.  In fact - I get TWO accounts of user with the exact name even appear (my account "DougL12"), as well as the "Administrator" account  None of these accounts have passwords (I can just click on one of them, which brings up a screen to enter a password, then click again without entering any PW, and then I get thru on my desk).

    When I go to 'User accounts' control Panal and select 'Manage another account', windows displays a screen showing three accounts:

    (1) "Guest" (power off);

    (2) "DougL12" (hey I am running, whose B-T-W has privileges admin; also do not have a password); and

    (3) 'administrator' (which, if I choose only, is not an option 'disable', although it has not one)

    (password).

    NOTE: page does not display "" versions of the user account "DougL12", although the login screen that is telling.

    so:

    (1) what do I do to eliminate the appearance of user accounts / Login Screen (i.e., default to my main user

    Account, "DougL12" and should not click)?

    (2) any thoughts as to why the system could be displaying two Occurrences of the user account Login "DougL12" on the

    login screen?

  • I can't remove the users account

    Hello

    I tried to find a way to delete a user account (user standar)
    I followed the instructions of windows help

    1. Open a user account by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click user accounts and parental controls, click on accounts of users and then clicking on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. Click the account you want to remove, and then click on delete account.

    3. Decide if you want to keep or delete the files created under the account by clicking on the file to keep, or delete files.

    4. Click on delete account.

      OK... but the only available option are changing the image or turning off the guest account

      I'm on windows 7 64 bit running as administrator, I have seen on other users of the forum with the same problem but no solution has been proposed

    Try this:
    1. create a new shortcut on the desktop that points to cmd.exe. Call Console.
    2. right click on this shortcut, then run it as administrator.
    3. type the following command and press ENTER:
    NET user "xxyyzz" / del
    (replace xxyyzz by name of the user account)

    If you want to also get rid of the folder of the user profile, follow these steps:
    4 restart the machine.
    5. log on as an administrator.
    6. open a Console session as it step 2 above.
    7. Enter the following command:
    RD /s /q "c:\Users\xxyyzz."
    Note: This method permanently removes all files and folders in the folder of the user profile. They are not recoverable. If in doubt about this action, use the following command instead:
    ren 'c:\Users\xxyyzz' 'xxyyzz.junk '.
    Now, wait a few weeks before you delete the file permanently.

  • How can I permanently disable and remove the User Account Control (UAC) on Control Panel?

    This feature on Windows Vista is really annoying when you do a presentation. I want to permanently disable and remove from the control panel.

    Hi Eyngel,

    If I understand you correctly, you want to disable or delete the user (UAC) of your computer access control.

    You can turn off the UAC, but do not remove it completely from your computer.

    You can let on that it is one of the security features of Windows Vista.

    To turn off the UAC:

    Go to control panel > user accounts > manage another account > at bottom of the page delete the control on the use of user access control.
    It should ask you to restart the computer to complete the process.

    I hope this helps. ----------------------------------------------------------
