  • 'REMOVE the RECENT HISTORY' removes it completely from the hard drive?

I just want to know if when I'm done for the day I can go to "clear recent history"-(which is set up to clear recent history by day) - and when I activate the "ERASE the HISTORY RECENT', it gives off the hard? IN - other words NOONE at any time in the future can access this days of sailing.

Yes, it erases all of your navigation on the hard drive. However, why not use the private browsing? Private Browsing - use Firefox without saving history

  • I wonder if Malware can circulate and operate on my computer in the same way as LoJack where it can not be removed by simply erasing the hard drive.

    Hello!
If I understand it, when the LoJack software is loaded on
a computer (leave a CD/DVD) somehow or other, a change is made to
the BIOS chip. In turn, this translates into a situation that even if the
hard drive is wiped away, the product survives and can still call home.

Now, if LoJack for this, as I have suggested in the past, why not a
specifically designed * malware * do exactly the same thing if it was
planted on a CD/DVD which a user deliberately 'responsible' for an individual
goal? For example, a CD used to install drivers for a printer, or
Perhaps, a CD ordered by mail to install Windows XP SP2?

    Serious question.

  • I linked one chose "remove from toolbar" on the new "drive mode" icon and it removed my entire address bar and I can not find the place where to pick up

With the latest update of firefox (38.0.5) I take away the new features that I would never use the button 'save for later '. Then the notification popped up in the navigation bar for the new feature 'in player mode', which is another thing that I'll never use. I right click it and chose "remove from toolbar". This action removed my address bar. My navigation bar is still there, but the address bar to enter a URL has disappeared. It's just my research and my download bar and buttons of AdBlock. Usually, I have my bar address/URL/navigation to the left of the search bar with the navigation arrows. When I go to customize I can't find the address bar. I have a particular look, I prefer and would not have to go through the restoration of values by default if I have to. Maybe I'm just missing something stupid obvious and I just need someone to point out. Thank you!

    I found this link

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/reset-preferences-fix-problems

And was able to "Refresh" my firefox. Now the long process of return to my silent settings I prefer. Really disappointed with firefox for the first time. Not the solution I was hoping.

Details on how to remove the 'drive mode' icon of a book of the URL bar it would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

  • How to remove unnecessary files from the hard drive using Lightroom.

    Hello

I use Lr 5.7 on Win7 64-bit. I would remove completely some old files and their contents that were part of my previous, very messy organization. I still have parents and masters images files, so I have no need extra junk on my hard drive.

I tried to do a right click on the file, but the only option is to delete the catalog. I saw posted solutions that say click on icon less. I don't see an icon less anywhere. As far as I know, Lightroom really doesn't want "delete me" anything.

  • Satellite A30 - how to remove the hard drive

    Hi, new here...

Can someone tell me how to remove the hard drive in my Tosh A30...

    Thank you
    captainp

    Hi Tim,.

The hard drive on your SA30 is in the optical drive, but slide the optical drive out of its housing (undo the F5 marked screws on the bottom of the laptop).

The hard drive will be visible fixed with four Phillips head screws that need to be removed (two on each side of the hard drive. With the removed screws, gently slide the hard drive toward the front of the laptop to disconnect its connector and carefully pull it out of its Bay.

  • How can I get all the files from the hard drive in the non-working Compaq Presario CQ62-411NR

Ice tea seep keyboard laptop, and after drying it feeds on. If I try a hard reboot, it is stated that I would lose all the info in the memory and I can't afford to lose my mother pictures that are on the hard drive. Is it possible to get the hard drive to work in some other way so that I can get my photos and other files.

You can remove the hard drive and put it in a USB Enclosure.Plug USB port, another machine, where you should be able to go through it and copy your photos off on the hard drive of the host computer.

    > I am trying to upgrade to windows 7, but I keep coming with remove the Toshiba HDD protection control panel but I can't locate it in the control panel.

You should look in the control panel-> programs and features

Here you will find all the programs that are installed in Windows Vista. To remove an any of them click the program you want to uninstall and then click Uninstall/change, and follow the prompts.

After Toshiba HDD protection has been uninstalled, you can try to keep up with the upgrade to Windows 7.
