After repair of Staingate

Hi all

I just got my macbook pro 13 "screen replaced for free in Bangkok (I live here) for free by Apple, which I am pretty happy given they don't have an official store here (part came from Singapore and a centre of service of third party played the 'operation' - Siam iService thanks!)

I wonder now if I have a screen that is identical to the original; that means that in 7 months and more jobs will come back. Or if Apple have solved the problem and the replacement will not be affected.

I bought a screen protector for my keyboard seems to begin my tasks.

Basically, I'm just curious if Apple made screens without problem, or if I'll change my screen again.

Thanks in advance.

Alex

It is likely that they touch the screen unless it's cracked.

  • the goal even after repair

I recently bought a refurbished rebel t5 with the kit lens 18-55mm, as well as the 10-18 mm IS and 55-250 IS lens. Everything has been fine with all my equipment except for the 18-55 mm lens. When the rotation of the lens to zoom in or out, there was a notieable rubbing or grinding noise and there were a few sticking points where the goal was not spin smoothly. I took in a Canon customer service center and they we sent for repair. I am the home goal today and everything is exactly the same thing when I sent it. Same grinding noise, even the sticking points. The service details, bak I say "your product has been examinded and it was found that the party was out of position, causing noises occur. The part of the description says "Focusing ASSY YG2-2353-000 part number".

I have also two older lenses that I had with the original Canon EOS rebel, I have a 18-55 and 75-300. So none of my other 4 lenses have this problem, but I don't know how many questions it's really. This could potentially damage the lens over time? Or is that what I should really worry? It isn't really the effect on my shot, but I don't want to be slowly causing damage every time that I have to zoom in or out. Since he was sent back to me like that after repair, should I just assume that it is not a big deal, because the repair obiously Center don't think it was if they sent back like that?

    Thanks for any comments,

    Matt

    Matt,

I don't have this particular goal, but I've been involved with a lot of people what to do. «It is not really effect my shooting,...» ", seems to be like that.  The lens can jump gear fairly easily. You can reset it by deleting and expanding the focus and zoom all the way, both ways.  You can hear a few clicks.  Be gentle.  It's really not a good candidate for the repair, if it is under warranty.

Using it, he can't last forever or not. If not, buy the new improved version. The Canon EF - S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens STM or elsewhere, far, the best choice for Canon EF - S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens.

  • POST show different screens and no customization after repair?

    Hey guys,.

I have an Alienware Laptop, 17 and it was recently repaired. Before it was repaired the POST was really clean. He showed the alienware without progress bar and then booted Windows logo.

Now, after repair, it first shows a black screen, then a list of recognized drives and watch then the logo alienware with a red progress bar. Also, the 8 Windows loading screen is resized as if the resolution is lower.

    Computer model Alienware 17
    BIOS Editor Alienware
    BIOS version A14
    Date of the BIOS 24/09/2014
OS version Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro

This is the current configuration of my computer. I watched several times in "F2" (BIOS) for an option of 'silent start-up' or something else, but can't find it. What has changed?

In the BIOS, select UEFI and secure boot. Try this. Which removes the progress bar.

  • iPad high reading after repair

I wore an iPad Mini flea market today, and the seller told me that he had the screen replaced as the original was cracked. There are also clear signs of an incident to drop as there is very little dents in two corners on the top of the iPad. I took a glance at the screen, and it seemed to be "lifting" very slightly from the window down to the bottom (cosmetic). After watching this, I took my iPad down to a local phone repair shop and they used adhesive to fix the lifting of the screen. I had the iPad home, and he began to play up ("home" button doesn't work do not, Siri launching unexpectedly, multitasking comes not not up to what double tap Home button ect). I did a factory reset and kept the same past. I also tried to disable Siri in settings and using support touch button instead of the home. When I placed the iPad down on my desk, the screen also turned on randomly. I then left the iPad for a while and when I picked it back again, it seemed to work as expected (except for the home button). I will try to reinstall the software via iTunes and see if that helps; because I think it could have been a glitch in the software that caused the iPad for it. What are your thoughts?

    ldale7 wrote:

    .. What are your thoughts?

    Hello

I suggest that you try to send back the iPad for a refund, unless she has been described to you as being faulty (instead of having only the apparent defects) when you bought it.

However, as you have since the work on the iPad by a third party, the seller may seek to claim that the defect was caused by that.

  • Qosmio X 70-A-10N issues after repair service

I am a customer of toshiba in the long term and for the first time that I need to complain about something.

    I bought a toshiba Qosmio X 70-A-10n to 10.11.2014 in Serbia

I asked to insert an ssd and install windows on it, I got it on the hard drive.
Not a problem, I know do that staff.

After less than a week its display starts showing the wrong colors, I tried to register on your website, it says that it is already international.

After that I discovered on your official site for guarantees that its security began September 27, 2013.
More than a year before I bought it.

And I brought to the official service, where thay couldn't answer all my questions.

But they have changed the screen, in term of 4 weeks and f * ed up a bunch of other things. Formatted a hard drive with a recovery of files, screched on a lot of places, and beside the touchpad when I put my hand while typeing it says tip tap, tup, or other noises iritating.

    Hi Aleks

I guess that the laptop was repaired by service provider authorized in your country.

Is that each cell will be set to before the repaired unit factory settings would be sent to the client. This was also the case even with my laptop.

The ASP will always install the pre-configured Toshiba system in order to check the functionality.
That's why he of STILL and highly recommended to back up data and personal files before you send the unit for fixing.

With regard to the question of the touchpad:
I'm not quite sure about that m noise but I imagine that this is linked to the touchpad setting that is located in Control Panel-> mouse-> last tab (here click on the button of setting or properties)

  • Broken after repair screen

Recently, after a message received on the laptop advise it be returned because of a problem with the fan, I sent my laptop to Toshiba UK, it was packed in the same packaging, he came and was in perfect condition when it was sent.

Now, after days of waiting for my laptop I rang and war horrified to discover a huge crack has been found due to the 'insufficient packaging' (even if it is their packaging) and I'm actually to pay more than £210 for a problem that was not caused by any fault of my own but people who cared UPS, and Toshiba. It is outrageous that told me to pay for the mismanagement of another person and I ask help be given to me or I will have to seek legal action. Other that the problems that have been found have been repaired under warranty but I still have the fact of a screen broken due to the fault of others. Please help me, my serial number is 5A469064Q. Call reference number is 71154900.

My package was the original, it was well packed with polystyrene scaffolding around each side and toshiba or their mail broke it and try to charge me to pay to fix it.

    Hey Buddy,

I think that you are not happy with the situation at the present time. It was really bad luck, what happened to you.

But don t forget that nobody is perfect. I don t know all the information, but I think that it s not Toshiba for lack of s. I think that your package wasn t correct handling or a very heavy Pack fall on your cell phone plan during childbirth, so the screen is broken.

In any case, you need to do something and you should contact Toshiba UK and inform them of the situation. I m that guys are going to help and clarify this with UPS too.

Keep smiling, all issues can be clarified and you're not lost ;)

  • MacBook won't turn on after repair

    Hi all

2 days ago my MBP 2012 15 "suddenly would not start up (there was the file with the icon question mark). I brought it to the Apple and they said it was due to the cable from hard drive being used, and it'll be a quick fix. Wells $60 CAD & 30 minutes later, they brought back and everything worked perfectly.

This morning, I tried to use the laptop and it wouldn't even turn on! I called Apple crossed some diagnoses and the agent said it is probably something to do with my logic board.

The problem is that my laptop was working perfectly fine until I brought the problem with the hard drive came and I took it to the Apple Store. Does anyone have an experience with a question like that? I mean, I don't want to really bomb against another $600 on my laptop. Apple takes responsibility for their repairs, after that he did?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Edit: I just found out that I have a limited warranty of 90 days by Apple... I'm a little afraid that Apple will try to weasel out of it and say that it applies only to the part that has been repaired and my problem is completely different...

  • Screen freezes and restarts after repair

    Hey guys,.

So I just got my HD Motorola Razr Maxx return of repair Motorola Droid. Before he went to repair, this device has been reset to chance the two stock (no new apps on Store) and custom. This device was not docked or altered in any way other than with game store applications and widgets from Google. Until the repair has taken place, the device had system version 9.18. After that I came back from repair, he returned with the version 9.20 System. I got the camera Thursday and since then the screen randomly froze a couple of times. It is quite frustrating. You guys have any suggestions on things I should try or should I send it back to Motorola for repair again?

    Thank you

    Brandon

If it was my phone and I had a backup that I'd send it in. Could give them a chance to do things the second time around. I hope this helps.

  • Error: File Asms needed Windows XP Home edition after repair of operating system. (Windows 7 upgrade)

Original title: asms file necessary windows xp home edition, after operating system repair.

I know it's old but I try to get on my mothers pc so it can transfer files to a drive hard usb. This computer had virus in there and caused certain files be rearranged. I took out the virus

I could not access the Device Manager as he disappeared. The computer does not recognize the hard drive usb, so I decided to fix the pc using the re installation disc.

The computer fixed itself, but now I get this message saying file asms is necessary. I tried to use the steps in this article (311755 KB), but still the same problem. I would like to use the recovery console, but I do not know the password for the administrator of safe mode.
The computer that had repaired the operating system is a dell dimension 2350 and I used the original windows xp disc.
I have a disc of windows 7 but the graphics card on the computer is less than adequate. I was wondering if I could calm down the graphics in the windows Classic theme for windows 7 will work and is it possible to save files because the computer is always on the xp Setup

Your specifications (RAM) are not quite the minimum requirements for WIndows 7 as shown here:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/system-requirements

However, Microsoft recommends 128 MB of RAM for XP as shown here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314865

So I think that their minimum requirements are a lot of hooey for most environments.  He can run, but you're probably not going to it.

If you want to see if you can get your work in XP (I'm not familiar with this problem), if you do a little research on Google for phrases like claire XP administrator password, I forgot XP administrator password reset XP administrator password, etc.. I'm pretty confident that you will find a way to go beyond this little bump on the road.  Simply clear the password and be on your way.

We are supposed to simply not to tell you how to do such things, so I fall just a few tips :)
