Remove Thinkpoint
I think that Thinkpoint was unintentionally loaded to my computer. How to remove it without having to pay for the version complete
There is a better way to remove the TinkPoint than running a system restore. Just, System Restore restores a register earlier, but does not remove ThinkPoint from your system files. Look at the KB below for the steps to remove ThinkPoint from your computer.

I can't restore my computer is activated and away but I get "cannot restore your computer to:.". I did the following: chkdsk f, all kinds of audits of malware, spyware and viruses. I still have a redirect malware in the system and IE8 takes forever to load.
In the future, please be more specific about what you did. 'All kinds of malware, spyware and virus controls' are much too vague.
Follow these steps to remove Thinkpoint: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-thinkpoint
Regarding your problem of restoration of the system, the error message Error: "Restoration incomplete, your computer SYSTEM RESTORE cannot be restored"indicates the Restore Point corruption, which can be caused by malicious software currently infect your computer or a variety of other causes, including some versions of Norton Security applications. Seehttp://bertk.mvps.org/html/error.html#5
If, following the directions in bleeping computer gets rid of Thinkpoint, follow with a scan usingSUPERAntiSpyware free. I also propose the deletion of all your existing system restore points once the system is cleaned. See:http://bertk.mvps.org/html/disablesr.html when you re-enable the system restore, make sure disable you use the button 'Settings' (a) SR all non system disc (http://bertk.mvps.org/html/drivedisable.html ) and (b) reduce the space used by SR on your system drive, at about 1 GB.

Hello, this morning I received the popup described in:

I allowed him to take action, just as described. However, now when I try to login, I get Windows Thinkpoint sweep that won't let me do anything but a 'safe start', which includes a computer full scan which cannot be cancelled except ctrl-alt-delete. After a disconnection and reboot, it is still there. I was also unable to log my other profiles user - simply says the passwords are incorrect.

After having removed via Add/Remove programs when you restart it himself reinstalled w / no prompts
After uninstalling the Manager of devices, same thing except that now it says the size of the program is 6 437,00 Mo!Will be not deleted or disabled after reboot. Next step is to open up the laptop and see if the modem can itself be without shearing of the Board of Directors, if that will not trigger the re - install software
Can find no other reference to this problem anywhere, hope it's just a will and
the GB are not counted against the count of HD space. On another laptop running Vista home the same modem is shown no program size, just empty.
There are a TON of malware which is legit software. No way to list them here. All we can do is get anti-virus software AND software to search for malware (in some cases, you may two or three different types of software.) I myself use AVAST, MalwareBytes and Spybot and AdAware. --

It seems that you still have a problem with remmants of the virus that you had deleted. I'll try again with other anti-virus or scanning software to see if there is still a problem.
You must disable AVG before using a 2nd antivirus. You can download Microsoft Security Essentials. Clickhere for a link to the Microsoft Antivirus.I also suggest an Inplace upgrade which will help you to repair your operating system. You will need a CD/DVD of the XP operating system.
Click on the KB article number below to view the instructions for an Inplace upgrade. After the upgrade on the spot, your personal data and installed programs will not be deleted, but we will have to run Windows Update to install all the updates that are available for your system to update these files system to the current version. This troubleshooting process is very long and can last several hours.

need stop synchronization before finishing to avoid ipod classic remove
I've updated to itunes version 12.5.1, as well as Windows 10. If I let my ipod classic finish syncing, everything on the ipod is removed. So I have to restore the ipod in disk mode so that itunes recognizes the ipod and avoid itunes gel settings. I found the only way to keep my music is to stop synchronization before it ends or the entire contents of the ipod is removed, and I'll have to go through the process of restoring ipod to factory settings again. During synchronization, I disable the Windows 10 firewall and anti virus as Apple support told me that it could interfere with itunes. What is - this with the finishing of sync that removes my ipod?
It's weird... Hard drive it is possible to the iPod becomes unreliable and is damaged during the synchronization process. What happens if you set it up to only synchronize a small number of songs, instead of "all"? For example, on the settings screen of music from iPod in iTunes, rather than choose to synchronize the entire musical library, choose the option to synchronize playlists, artists, albums, and genres, and select only a SINGLE album. These songs always get deleted at the end of synchronization?

When I deleted a picture of my MacBook, why it also remove the external hard drive?
So I tried to help my wife to free up space on his MacBook Pro by putting all of his photos on an external hard drive. After iPhoto slide the hard disk and wait 40 minutes so that he could transfer, I wanted to make sure it worked. I ejected the disk and then plugged in. Of course, all iphotos were still there. Just to be sure, I deleted one file in the folder on the computer's iphoto. I went to my shock and horror, the external hard drive, that it has been deleted it too! How is that possible? I've been scouring the Internet trying to retrieve this file with no luck. It was not in the trash. There is a tab "recently deleted". Time machine was not turned on. iCloud shows nothing. I can't download any software, because the computer is completely filled. How is it possible that by deleting this folder on the computer he did also leave the hard drive? AND it has not been saved in the trash? I have used PC, and whenever I need something in return, he was ALWAYS in the trash. And if I deleted something on the computer with an external hard drive connected, it would NEVER be removed from the external hard drive at the same time. I'm so frustrated and feeling SO bad that I deleted a folder with important pictures of our kids. Is that what I can do to recover the pictures? Any help is greatly appreciated.
You used Time Machine at all? I see you say it was not on, but it never on and is at - it a backup Time Machine on the Macbook Pro?

How to remove music iTunes for the Mac, but NOT the iPhone
I have an iPhone 4/4 s. I downloaded audio on the web through my iMac. I added this audio to my phone. Rather than most of the cases where people want to remove audio from their phone and not on their computer, I would remove the audio from the computer while keeping on the phone.
Help, please?
Secondary click on a song or album and use delete download (do not remove).
