  Do us a migration to a new environment and going from 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.3.

  When we create the planning application in EPMA capital expenditures, he specified is no longer the "Topic" dimension in the Dimension selection screen as in 11.1.2.1.   If you upgrade a planning capex application through the upgrade wizard then dimension "Topic" will remain the same name, if you create a new application, then it will use the new options.

  It's strange because I just created a new application of skratch. Then, I create my new metadata (we rename all dimension labels). I use then the same form of rule file an old application but I have updated the file with the new dimension label.

  You probably have in your rules, a string variable happening dynamically in the dimension of value. The "V #" has no members that are associated with and so the origin of the problem. "condition that controls a HS. EXP ' HAS #...» ", but you can't have the entity dimension or value on the left-hand (target) side of an expression.

  I am running a calculation script that breaks down after running for some time. I see that the problem comes from the entity dimension that has something of 4,000 members. My calc calculation script only a subset of this dimension.   I do see messages of any detail just the message log applications which ends with failure to rename the log file, exit below.

  I have the CSV file as a data source. I've created tables to CSV files and then them modeled in SPR and then created time on that dimension. But the time dimension does not work. Is it because the data source is a CSV file?

  This one is from SampleApp, as you can see there is a "time Total" and it is reported as "grand total" (a box set).

  So maybe just remove your and build it yet keeping the grand total and rename the level of detail of the "year".

  Add your unique column it and set it as the key level (and also key chronological).

The user name is the registration form on the same page. I created a session for the username variable and tries to use it to change the name of the image, while my pictures are for download and resize the rest as the original and not as the new number name of $ username_.   I have an obligation to create a cube for customer mgmt reports. People want to report on registrations and connections of clients.
  
  So I need, in my cube, two references to the size of my time (called dim_time). I tried and owb accepts two references to dim_time, rename the second dimension to dim_time_1 automatically. Deployment and loading is also very good.
  
  If from a test perspective, this seems to be the right way to do it. Has anyone else done something like this and you've seen all the problems later?
  I want to be back up before going to production.
  
  
  Another issue is about the join of the second reference dim_time to the date of termination. Everyone has a recording date, but most (I hope) is not a termination date. But each of them must be loaded in the cube. I have not seen a possibility to influence the joins to the cube operator. What is possible?

  To make two references to the same dimension, you can create two roles in the time dimension. Then, in the cube, you can view each role. In fact, it's the same thing you did, the only difference is using roles make the model easier to understand, because you can give a friendly name to each role.
  The second point is on the reference to a date zero. I think that there is no way to do it using the cube object. In these cases, I use to create a date as 12/31/9999 "and referring to it. The inside of the card, you can use a phrase with something like this: to_date (NVL (your_date, ' 31129999'), 'ddmmyyyy'). And, of course, don't forget to enter this date in the dimension.
  It is not common to have null data in DW. Any exceptions must be identified and documented, for example, 'Not available', 'Unknown', etc.

  Hello guys, I have a question that is partly triggered by me not wanting to change the default ETLs.
  
  I have values in a dimension to come as table:

  Region C
  Region D
  Region E
  
  However, I'm hoping to re - org the hierarchy as below:
  
  A new region
  D new region
  
  Essentially, there is a new org structure where we Group (consolidation) old parts in new and rename values.
  
  I know it can be done in ETL but y at - it everywhere else where this is possible? Perhaps in the business layer? Is there a place in the business layer where we can decode the values and combine them?

  You can do to the RPD layer with an instruction box on a column of logic. However I really wouldn't say that because it means that if the group never changes you need to release a new RPD to get change.

  Why not build a task custom ETL that you can set to run after the vanilla who takes just these values, consolidates necessary (perhaps using a lookup table to find the old-> new maps) and then load it the new value in a column of extension on the dimension or the extension of related dimension, i.e. W_ORG_DX. Then, you can simply display this column in the presentation layer for users. Unless the table in question has millions of people off the coast of columns, just let him do this mapping for each row in the table for each ETL.

  I think it would be a very simple task and would mean that you can change the mappings easily through the table if necessary. This also means that you don't need to touch the vanilla ETL mappings and are not changing the values in the columns of vanilla, as you mentioned that you didn't want to do.

  Remove the device that you want to rename your Apple ID account. Go to system-> sharing Preferences and change the name as desired, then re - register this device with its new name.
