  You can reorder pages within a dashboard in 11 g.
  (1) change the Dasbhoard and go to dashboard properties.
  (2) you will see the list of pages and reorder the pages to your list.

  guided navigation is the way to go. Now, you think to demand that triggers the guided navigation.
  Now, you can not use double in a normal request in OBIEE. If you need to use an existing column in a topic area:
  (1) for example, add column 'Calendar year' of the size of your time at your request.
  (2) add the same column at your request.
  3) click on the fx in the second column column, to change the formula.
  (4) modify the formula to: LOCATE ('GroupName', VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION. GROUP OF))
  The value in this column will be 0 when the user is not a member of GroupName and > 0 when it is a member of GroupName.
  (5) add a filter on the column: LOCATE ('GroupName', VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION. GROUP)) is equal to 0.

  Check the results:
  When the X user is member of GroupName, demand will cause no line. When the user X is not a member of GroupName, it won't.

  A note: when using 'A' as a groupname, you will have problems with this, because 'A' is also in "Administrators".

  The requirement is to make a dynamic dashboard where I want to hide some views in the article. IAM doing a Top 10 customers of revenue to regions of the United States, EU, AP. and I gave a dashhboard page guest like "REGION" for the United States, the EU and the AP. This time, I have created a section of the dashboard with three different views for US, EU, AP
  
  If I select any region from the prompt, I should be able to see the three points of view and if I choose the American region, the views of the EU and AP should be hidden. How to get there?

  On the page of dashboard edition, there are properties for each section to set. One of them is the guided navigation. With a guided navigation, you can show or hide a section, according to the results of another query. When this 'conditional' request return lines, you can decide to show (or hide) the section.

  First, you must create a separate section for each request. "When you select" US "in the dash prompt then only indicate the section with the American report. The other sections need to be hidden, no?

  You must now create conditional queries, which means that 'US' is selected in the dashboard line:
  (1) the conditional request for U.S. section must return lines-> U.S. section will be hidden
  (2) the conditional request for the EU section should not return lines-> section EU will be hidden
  (3) the conditional request for the AP section should not return lines-> AP section will be hidden

  Then you must think wisely how to create these conditional requests.
  You can consider a request now only the column of the region.
  Then you add two filters:
  For the request of condtional US:
  (1) region is equal to (protect US this filter with filter option)
  AND (2) region is invited

  To demand parole of the EU:
  (1) region is equal to EU (protect this filter with filter option)
  AND (2) region is invited

  To demand parole from AP:
  (1) region is equal to AP (protect this foli with filter option)
  AND (2) region is invited

  What happens when you select EU in the dash prompt:

  The conditional request US not returns no lines-> U.S. section will be hidden.
  Demand of the EU conditional returns to lines-> section EU will be visible.
  The request of condtional AP don't returns no lines-> AP section will be hidden.

  If this is the scenario then, try the steps to uninstall the USB Device Manager, uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs, and then download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

  Step 1:

  Uninstall the device from Device Manager

  • Press the Windows key + R to open Run box.
  • Type devmgmt.msc in the run to open Device Manager.
  • Expand the USB section.
  • Find the USB device.
  • Click with the right button on USB and select Uninstall.
  • Select the check box delete the driver for this device.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  Step 2:

  Uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs in the control panel

  • Click Start, select Control Panel
  • Now, click on programs and select programs and features.
  • Find the USB.
  • Right-click USB driver and select Uninstall.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  Download and install the latest drivers for the USB on the manufacturer's Web site

• Change the dashboard 'summary of active host.

  Hey everybody! I'm new to Foglight (using 5.6.5), but I was instructed to create a dashboard that will appear on a screen in the office. The dashboard is supposed to be the same as the summary of active hosts, who was created by default, the only difference being that it should only show servers 'Production '. Now, it seems really simple (and probably), but I've been struggling with this project days. I feel like I should just be able to copy summary of active hosts and make a quick change to the context and specify that it should Prod servers and not all servers, but I didn't understand how to do this.

  I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to go about it? Am I right in assuming that I can just copy the AHS and change some of the settings? What I have to change? I've tried a few things, but to no avail. I hope this isn't a stupid question, I just jumped in the middle of it and trying to learn as I go. If you need additional information or screenshots, let me know. Thanks in advance, it is greatly appreciated!

• UCCX cuic: Failed to create the dashboard

  Hi all

  My user is to have a role as administrator & Reporting in UCCX, as well as the role of Dashboard Designer in cuic. However, the user is unable to create the new dashboard / subdirectories (all grayed out option). I'm under 10.5.

  Is there a required additional configuration?

  See the information below regarding the creation of dashboards:

  1. no default reports user doesn't have permissions to create dashboards directly under the parent directory even if they provided the role of Dashboard Designer.

  2. the Super user/administrator can create subcategories and provide writing and the declaration of the user execute permissions so that they can create dashboards in this subcategory.

  The same is documented in the section create subcategory of the document:

  Therefore, connect in cuic as the Super user and create subcategories for the users of necessary reports and provide write/execute permissions after which they will be able to see the dashboard and work under this

  I've developed reports obiee lately as part of my training activity. I came across a few examples of reports from google, and I find them very professional and much better than what I have created. I enclose several images here, the first 3 images contains the dashboard I created and the fourth example of google report. Can anyone help me design dashboards that seems very professional?

  Firstly, it is good to say that "professional research" is subjective, that it is better to look for is probably not uniformity.

  You're not too far honestly...

  First point is that you use a lot of sections. If you use many sections of your page uncheck the option 'Folding', it will hide the upper area of the sections with the icon to the left. If you don't need 3-4 sections just use a unique, not need a section by element. Hide borders of your sections, so you don't see all the blocks in your page.

  These few things will do it look better already.

  Another point is style: keep the colors, fonts, size uniform etc. in your objects.

  You have a blue, black, yellow, grey background on some of your lines, you really need different colors? Really have a meaning? If this is not the case, just use a single.

  Start there and don't forget to make things uniform.

  I have a line of dashboard (scope: Page), when the user selects the value in the command prompt and click on apply an another guest of dashboard (hidden section) fills the values and then this variable of presentation is mentioned in the report.

  Question: Refresh the guest placed in the hidden not part and assign the value to the variable of presentation.

  For example:

  Section 1 > prompt dashboard

  (1) from the Date

  (2) Id analysis: (guest of cascade, founded date selected)

  Variable presentation: pAnalysisId

  (3) moral: by default all the values in the column

  Section 2 > fast dash (apply button then refresh is disabled)

  Analysis of parent IDs:

  See the value: select 'parent_anlysis_id' from 'SubjArea1' where 'id of analysis' to (@{pAnalysisId})

  Default value: Select 'parent_anlysis_id' from 'SubjArea1' where 'id of analysis' to (@{pAnalysisId})

  Presentation Variable: pParentanalysis

  Report:

  The report columns

  Legal entity |  Balance (Parent) | Balance (analysis)

  Column report form:

  Only the pAnalysisId happens. The presentation variable analysis Parent is not to set.

  NOTE: If I display the section in which I placed the guest of the dashboard for the Parentanalysisid, the report works very well.

  Problem is solved. The problem is in the report, all the filters have been based on variable presentation, which was not refreshing with prompt hidden values. Add a column with "is"lead"in the report and now values happen.

  Ok. If it was a browser issue. Things were not visible correctly on Chrome (ver 37) and IE (version 11). I then tried on IE (version 9) and Firefox (ver 32) and it worked!

  Is it possible to purge all hides automatically the dashboard every time when I run the dashboard in OBIEE 11 g?

  You must change each report in your go to achieve this. Go to advance tab, in the section of prefix after the set DISABLE_CACHE_HIT = 1; and click on apply button, save your report.

  This should help you.

• The .article file size view of the dashboard

  Is there a way to look at the file size of an article of in the dashboard?  some converters API and/or article download files section generated directly to the cloud of Adobe and so a local version of the article does not exist. How can we consider the file size of the articles auto-téléchargées?

  There is no way to do it from the dashboard unfortunately.

• Capacity issues - information planning does not appear in the dashboard / rims reports

  Hi all

  I'm still getting my head around time involved with the collection of data for projects.

  I had a data manager, collection of information on approximately 200 systems in 2-3 weeks, still in the dashboard I don't see any information I want to learn.

  If you look at the attached screenshots, you will see for the dashboard of the company, I have a 190 systems all in my a project for this company. Among them, only 2 have started to show that they have inventory. In data manager himself most systems already have some inventory information, but this has not filtered through the dashboard yet, apart from these two you see here.

  In my summary inventory systems capture screen you can see a lot of systems that display zeros in all of the inventory. In data manager if I find the system data, I can see his stats for most servers on all sections.

  So I have two questions:

  • Should I worry that this info does not yet show after 2-3 weeks?
    
  • How could I go to take 3 systems in this collection and the pulling of data using custom reports? I created a separate project for these three systems, added to them, they have 2-3 weeks of data collection already, but when I run my custom reports on these systems a lot of data is empty and does not appear do not, even if these three systems have all data and performance data I need when I view on the data Manager server.

  Here's the thing... If you add systems to the collector and then create a data sync before the first inventory collection... you ship a bunch of zeroes on the scoreboard.

  the collector will not send new data after the first synchronization, unless you use the full export option.
