  I'm trying to find a replacement battery for Satellite Pro A10, PA3284U-1BRS, 10.8 v original battery, 3600 MAH. A couple of merchants said that it is no longer available and has been replaced by PA3285U-1BRS, the amperage is a little higher at 4400 MAH, but declared voltage is now 11.1 VOLTS. Is this normal, or are they trying to just me to pawn off the coast with something that is really not compatible with the specifications of the original part. I can't find the part for the moment available on the Toshiba site, seems to have been the only way to get a true replacement who would be sure to adapt.   On the topic of hardware upgrades and replacements, for those of you who may have a hp dv6-7028tx, while doing some maintence on this, I spotted an msata slot, (which is empty as stock on this model), to which i added a kingston ssd 60 GB Msata and got the Intels Rapid Storage Technology running. who uses the ssd as a cache for the HARD drive. And staff of his lightning quick with start-up experience and all my regular programs. So, if you have a slot msata and can run Intels RST, I definitely recommend get it! well worth the $75 to the ssd. It feels like a new laptop.

  I advanced and bought 'New battery pull' for $27, and it works well. only 6 cycles and 96% of its capacity. for less than $30, when hp will sell them for $139.00, its really good value!
