• Windows Live Mail - deleting email address but want to keep his e-mails in a new email address

  I change over my old email addresses (3 of them - one for friends, business, work) for 3 new, different e-mail address because I changed internet service providers.

  I exported e-mails from old e-mail addresses to save to an external drive.

  What I want to do is to import them into my new email addresses in the new Inbox folders where I store the correspondence.  Then it would be emails to or from an older email address, different enter one of my new folders of files of addresses in the Inbox where I separate topics/types of e-mail by e-mail.

  I tested it and it seems to work.  I imported a file, who appeared in 'Storage files' as a ' imported '.  Then I selected all the emails in a specific folder (example: invoices) and moved them to a new folder called (different) email inbox "bills".  They transferred and I can access and read emails - the old and the new, and it doesn't seem to matter that the old emails have been associated with a different email address.

  I just want to be sure I'm doing the right thing, or if it would have the unintended consequence of do - as I play until the file structure, etc., or do something that will cause WLM malfunction later.

  Worse comes to worse, I e-mail stored on a drive for expansion, but it would be easier to have the old and new e-mail consolidated on my current WLM.

  I did the right thing, or is that a no-no?  Or is there a better way?

  It seems to me that if you do everything absolutely right. The program does not care which account a message has been sent to or-it's just a message, so you can put it in any folder you like. The only word of caution would be to allow Windows Live Mail enough time for large numbers of newly imported or - moved message index, perhaps even in working offline at the same time to minimize interference from sync/send/receive operations.

  A good reason to use storage folders rather than files under one account to store messages to archive, is that when you delete an account, all its files and their content is permanently deleted. If it is not easy, it is possible to accidentally delete an account.

  However we are facing a different challenge where our own domain had to Eloqua email management problems and her bouncing hard have been generated by a server from us problem.

  Hi Flavio,

  We are currently going through the same exercise. It is possible to massive update contacts in the program generator. My one suggestion would be to make about 100 contacts per day so that you do not negatively your sender score.

  Program:

  

  Above is the program to a high-level view. First of all, you will want to load your contacts into a common group, so block, you can add them to the program.

  Next, you will want to check to see if they are unsubscribed. If they are, we just delete them campaign we want no re validate someone who chose.

  Then you want to add a step to re validate contacts. The key here is to check the box to sign up for them at the level of the site. This will mark the valid contacts.

  

  Then simply delete the program contacts. We have added a waiting time to ensure that the program worked at first, but it is not necessary.

Then I noticed that I had lot to put up with the suffix @gmail.co.uk rather than @gmail.com, which means the registration and activation email went into the ether (gmail.co.uk addresses do not exist) so the account has not yet been activated... It's so likely I do not know the password but can not access as not active! MS reset options are e-mail, SMS and the client request. Email serves will send to not existing address. SMS does not work as well as I put my cell phone in I of course did not change the location then nothing happens so think he uses a prefix US on a uk mobile... Could be no activation you again if suddenly. When I fill out customer service reset I impersonate the identity test but got an email telling me reset, use electronic mail, which totally missing the point. I guess it was an automatic response and you can't answer. I also tried to obtain a unique access code, but who still uses SMS that doesn't work for me. Hints tips or suggestions welcome - btw talked to technical support of Xbox that were very sensitive, but could not help

  I guess that you have a Live account Windows that you do not manage to connect to for various reasons.  Can clarify you what the case, and you can specify that you forgot your password or your user name?

  If you talk about this type of Forums (below) then they are very busy, but eventually you should get a response from Microsoft.  If the problem is that I'm guessing that this is so only Microsoft can fix the problem for you, posters not Microsoft, as we find in this Forum won't be able to do much for you other than to advice on a course of action to follow.

  If I remember the way Microsoft handle such problems with the "lockout", it's that they contact you by E-mail (an address that you can still access) and either reset your password or clear the problem after having proved to their satisfaction that you are the owner of the blocked account.  The process is a lot easier if you have (in the setup) provided them with another email address, or installed (and remember) secret an answer to the Question.

  Unfortunately, the whole process may fail and you may forever lose this account.  If that were the case, you should start now to try to get duplicates of important emails from the original sender.

  It's very frustrating. Mozilla does allow me access to my original user account that has already been put in place with my preferred email address. And Mozilla will not let me create a new user account with my preferred email address. Now I'm stuck with a new user account which is linked to an email address that I never use and is not easily accessible to me. As a last resort, I access my new user account in the hope that it will allow me to change the email address associated with the account, but of course, this is not an option.

  Can someone please help me access my original account with my login and my original password? If a password reset is necessary, then I should not receive an email response telling me that my account is already activated (see below). If it is checked, then why can't connect? What is going on? Please help me. Thank you.
