  Hi all

  I'm looking for a review here.

  In our current environment, 600 more VM is get replicated to disaster recovery site using third-party replication tool. As we intend to upgrade our whole environment to vSphere 5.1, we intend to use the replication of vSphere. We do not plan to use SRM at this point.

  We have two Vcenters, one for the env Prod and other for Dr. approx. We have our replication go on a dedicated channel for OC / 24.

  We are not woried about the Automation and do not come back to this point, MRS is not a choice at this point.

  Questions.

  1. with the limitation of 500 rehearsals (employment) for the unit of replication VSphere, ho we satisfy our need of 600 replications?

  2. can we use vSphere several devices of replication on each site (by vcenter) without using SRM?

  3. If it says 500 is the maximum supported, loads of work how I can configure on device for proper operation.

  4. should I consider SRM in this stadium? If yes why?

  I see, but I guess that at least for a start and a conecpt evidence of the use of VR, a single VRS is enough. In addition, you can always high-end to SRM later and get better performance with the deployment of new technologies...

Usually we use pre-shared key as authentication with other customers without any problems, but it must use authentication cert with her this time.   You can read this document to get a simple example of setting up a VPN S2S using certificates on an ASA:

  Basically the sides must have the same certification authority and If there is an intermediate certificate that must be installed also. The ASA 2 will generate a CSR (certificate access code request), now then PKI will create a certificate for both parties, commonly called "certificate of identity".

  Assuming your L2L looks like this:

  LAN - router - INTERNET - Router_Remote - LAN

  Traffic between the two local area networks is protected by the VPN tunnel. It is recommended to use the recommended security (strong encryption settings) to ensure that the encrypted traffic would not be compromised through the Internet.

  On the other hand, if you talk about outbound plaintext to the Internet, as when a user acceses google.com, then you just make out traffic, but never allow all incoming connections.

  If you want to protect your network with advanced security as a FW features, you can consider ZBF, which is the available in IOS Firewall/set function:

  If you consider that this is not enough, check the ASA5500 series.

  Important

  Check that there is no cleanup operation pending on recovery plans and there is no problem of configuration for the virtual machines that protects the Site Recovery Manager.

  1 all the recovery plans are in ready state.

  2 the protection status of all protection groups is OK.

  3 the status of the protection of all the individual virtual machines in the protection groups is OK.

  4 the recovery of all groups of protection status is ready.

  5. If you have configured the advanced settings in the existing installation, note settings you configured before the upgrade.

  6 the vCenter local and remote server instances must be running when you upgrade the Site Recovery Manager.

  7 upgrade all components Server vCenter Site Recovery Manager on a site until you upgrade vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager on the other site.

  4 upgrade the instance of vCenter Site Recovery Manager server that connects to vCenter Server 5.5.

  If you upgrade a vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager 4.1.x, you upgrade the instances of vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager server in the correct sequence until you can upgrade to Site Recovery Manager 5.5.

  Not sure that you need a different directory.

  If you are working on a local computer, create a new site with all the same settings for local files and change the remote server settings to match the second server.

  This ensures you that there is no difference between the two websites.

  Yes, no extra accommodation payment is required. After editing your site and savings, click download file to the host of VTT... The info should auto fill with the same information that you used to download the site the first time. You can choose to download only files "changed" or "all files".   I don't think you'll like what you see in DW.  Best advice, rebuild the site.

  Basically, there is nothing much to import. Simply open DW, click Site > new Site and say DW where you keep the files of your site on your local hard drive.

  That said, no XSite Pro features exclusive web, you used will probably not work in DW.  You may need to find replacements for them.

  I install peopletools 8.50 with application MFC 9.0 with Oracle 11 g on Windows 8 (32 bit). Everything went well and I installed with success of the PIA and peoplesoft signon page becomes also open in my browser.

  But the question is when signon page appears in the browser it see the following error:
