Report sorting issue

We use the apex 4.2.3. I have a page with a report from the region. The report is based on PL/SQL returns a SQL query. The report runs as expected, but I'd like to that report output to sort, however, I don't want the column to the user titles can change. For example, I want just the output sorted by columns 3,4,5 and does not allow the user interaction with it. I tried to add the "order" to my function of the return value, it makes me just a "Can't analyze" error I know it's simple, no doubt, but I do not see where to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you need to create your own table and add the entry for the server name, database and DBID and then use this table in your query with join column DBID.

Financial Reporting sort with dimensions of the page
I had a report which has been sorting into account by description, in ascending order.
However, then I changed and added the entity Dimension in the hierarchy and it removed the sort. I can't get to sort again.
It is a function of EN if there are dimensions of the page you can't custom sort, or is there something I'm missing.

Any help would be great

Report sort on header DESC first...?

The first click should sort the column of the report, the second Crescent, 3rd desc desc...

Oracle matrix report - sorting problem
I have developed a relationship of type matrix in the query I wrote the correct sort order. If I run the query in the TOAD sort order is correct. Display of the data on the report is to give the problem the sort order is different. Could you please tell me is it possible to get the desired sort order.
In a matrix, you can manage the sort order of the rows/columns by going directly in the field presentation and changing the order of the breakdown, by default the pause command is growing... so your columns/rows are already sorted by default.

I guess you try to get a descending order, and that's what you see not applied with your ORDER BY clause...

How to sort issues on Satellite A505-S6973

Can anyone tell me if the warranty period on my laptop was not successful, can I find my computer toshiba laptop and have solved all my problems. Is there a cost to do some related software repair needs to be done and how I'm supposed to go about it, because my laptop starts to have all kinds of little mistakes, I noticed that my hard drive has used 156 GB even though I have about 60 gigs in use.

Various artist - sorting issues iTunes

So I have a huge library of compilations, some are properly identified in terms of the song name, artist name, album name and "album is a compilation of songs by various artists" checked. HOWEVER

the vast majority of them simply have Various Artists, or where the various in many cases, the name of the real artist is part of the name of the file (if necessary).

The question I have, if you use iTunes 12.x is when I use the 'artist' list, the "various artists" are not all the albums under this unique collection, but rather, it chooses random albums, or in some cases only parts of the album and lists each item individually, so my 'view artist' list in iTunes is huge.

I mucked the tab ' info/sort' a lot, but in many cases, it is just after I click OK.

I think that the changing data in iTunes 'info' window does actually change metadata in the files themselves, then it is likely that these metadata which is the problem?

If anyone has a solution, it's getting boring really have this huge list and having hunting a complete compilation because iTunes it scatters is different parts in a variety of groups.

Setting usually a common Album title and the artist of the Album for each album will fix things.

If the titles must be synchronized to a non - iOS device, this must be a good artist or the album must be defined as a Compilation.

If iTunes displays multiple instances of an artist or an album then generally what works is to select all the associated tracks and use read the information to add say an end X for each of the areas of the slopes have in common:
- For an album. Album, Album artist, and artist (if the artist is the same for all tracks)
- For an artist; Album artist (and the artist unless there are comments/featured artists listed which should not be changed)
Apply the change which merges things together, then remove the excess characters.

Use the view of songs and display fields, Album, genre, Album, Album artist, genre artist Album, artist and genre artist side by side to see you whether or not it is necessary to change the artist and if sorting values could be the cause of additional problems. See grouping in albums, titles for help if necessary.

Trying to re-create the downloadable report - sort of

I have a report focused on the region of PL/SQL that loops through several satellite offices after the selection of a regional office and generates a report containing a title, summary and data. Management wants to be able to download the data in the report and APEX provides only this convenience area of standard report, so I'll try a workaround.

I created a popup page that can be called from a HTML button incorporated into the report. The problem I get is that the button must undergo three values to the popup page in order to generate the report, and I'm doing something wrong with regard to dates, because when I display the variables if sent to the popup, I get the desktop #, but the dates are coming as long as 0.0012437810945273632 and 0.002736318407960199 (from and to dates).

Can someone indicate where in my efforts of string concatenation that goofed upward?

Interactive report new issue to Apex
Hi, I'm new to Apex... I ask your help to solve a prob...

I am trying to create an interactive (IR) report that has more than 160 columns... He said that the maximum limit is 60(or 64) columns... I remember when I started just to build the application, it has allowed me to create the report with 160 + columns but I didn't start with IR. My entire application was built, and it's the only thing that remains to be done... Is it still create an IR with columns 160 + now that I am almost finish the app...

(just a thot may be create another application with the IR and then import this page - if you think that work please guide me on how to do this)

I had the same thought; If it is possible to create a new appl with IR with 160 + columns then do.

After creating a new appl revert to the original app, open one of the pages, click the copy button on the top of the page, click on 'Page in another application', select the new appl with IR, then select the page with IR... Follow the steps

Problem of sorting for the report public pages

Recently, I ve met a strange behavior with a standard sql, in a page (unauthenticated) report "public":
When a sorted user report on one of the columns, all other users got their report sorted on this column even.

I have reproduced this situation several times (including the http://apex.oracle.com):

1 to the sample application to create a new blank page without tab.
2. edit this page and add a sql report region, using the "standard" model
For this purpose, a query that returns the columns 3 or 4 of the customer table will be enough.
Make sure that the sorting is available on several columns.
3. edit the properties page and in the section security value "Authentication" "Page is Public" and run the page.
4. on another browser go directly to the page.
5. back on the browser where you were 'edition' click on one of the columns to sort.
6 refresh the second browser and the sorting is now the same as in the first.

Column header in the interactive report with special characters

Interactive column heading in the report sorting and filtering is broken when I used special characters in it.
Column sorting options appear in the wrong place and the page becomes unresponsive.
Cause: I use a slash "/" in my query and who broke it. I tried ampersand and the same problem exists.
Query: Select project name, status ' Open/closed' projects;
This problem does not exist in the classical report, but only in interactive report

I guess simple fix is that not not to use the query column aliases where is /.

But you can use ' Open/closed' as an attribute of the column header.

Works very well so that enable you sorting. Then, the "Grand Total:" line is considered to be a line of data, and that gets sort as well as "actuals."

I also tried just allowing the amounts in the column in report attributes since which remains at the bottom, but I don't see a way to do all the calculations, i.e. sum (ext_gmd) /sum (ext_prc). I don't want to just do the sum of this column (ext_gmp), I need to have the result of the calculation.

So, my questions are:

(1) is there a way to "lock" the line at the bottom of the results using the Group of / method of stacking, sorting, no matter what or
(2) is it possible to perform calculations of the Apex line Total is generated when you use the feature of report attributes SUM?

Then I created a report model custom column named as a "copy" of the Standard generic column report model: i.e. it uses the same basic structure HTML class attributes etc required for the support of the current theme, but it contains a fixed number of columns specifically structured for this report.

Report named column templates do not support the same chains of substitution as a generic column templates. There is no substitution #COLUMN_HEADER_NAME # , both corresponding header column id and headers attributes must be specified explicitly in the model, however it is probably unnecessary to do this for a simple table like this structure. #ALIGNMENT # is also not taken in charge, so way declarative definition alignment / header of the column in the column attributes report is not possible. Once again this can be done in HTML in the template, but I prefer to do using CSS (in the header HTML page):

It's not perfect, but I think it's a decent first approximation. From a standards point of view, I'm not happy to just wrap the total line of tfoot everywhere where the fate leaves him in the order of the rows. Because of the values of report in this report, the line total will be normally be positioned first or last, except when sorting in store or Extended GM %. Re: form/sort issue report, so I would experiment with using this method to force the total coming in first/last row when sorting by columns where the actual values would be don'ts. The literal text as "Grand Total" can go in the model line tfoot rather than the query to be considered when sorting.
